Its freezing here too Jim....last night too on the way home i couldnt stop shaking it was sooooo cold!! And the fog has only just lifted

good morning everyone

well, i can feel my mini mic kicking me. not only that i can see my tummy moving, which was amazing, yet slightly disturbing at the same time... it's rather early for this but the midwife confirmed it, so yay

went to visit my dad this weekend. had a nice time with him and his wife and exchanged some pressies. and went out for my friend's 30th yesterday afternoon and ended up staying from 2 - 8.30 in the same restaurant, ha. we met some of his other friends and me and thomas, him and his friends we hadn't met stayed after the others left for another 2.5 hours nattering. they were lovely always nice when that happens.

unfortunately this means that we lost quite a lot of our 'manic tidying and cleaning of the house before mum arrives on wednesday evening' time. the house is a tip and we've only got tonight and tomorrow night left. and i'm probably working until 11pm tomorrow night :S so an awful lot to do tonight. and i didn't sleep well last night. so i'm hoping i'll be able to get on with it when i get home without going to sleep :S

speaking of fog, we were driving up to dad's on friday night and couldn't see more than about 4-5 metres in front of the car in places. they shut part of the m1 due to an accident involving 9 cars and we only just managed to get off before getting stuck in the traffic jams. and there was another accident going southbound too, and the traffic jams we saw that way were incredible. and when we got up into the hills near dad at times we were going 10-15mph because you just couldn't see. it was rather scary. but we could hardly turn around and go home by that point, ha.

Morning abz, that fog was bad wan't it love. how are you and it looks like your weekend was good. I spent most of mine recovering from Friday night. I didn't get home until five in the morning so most of Saturday was spent sleeping. LOL

It was good abz, I'm no fan of turkey generally but this was moist and tender, tasted OK too.

good morning everyone. well thomas did an amazing transformation of the house last night. it's actually tidy!! loads of dishes need doing, but all the junk is now hidden in our bedroom, the little room is ready for mum and her fella to stay in, the living room looks lovely and i can do the dishes when mum is there, so he's in my good books

it does hon, but i bet it's sped up over the last couple of weeks you will have a fabulous time babes. it's all gone in a flash and you may not remember a lot of it if you are like me, hee, but it's a wonderful time
