Anyone 12 stones to 11 stones

Hi, can I join you please? I weighed in this morning at 12st 13lbs. I only lost 1lb but it feels good to change into a new stone bracket!:D
Welcome from me too!

those of you who switched to red days, i was thinking this as upto now i'm not really losing on EE but i dont really understand the red days?

Red days, it's all written in your book and it's really easy. Each page has a heart with green, red or ee saying which days the page is for.

Basically on red days you have free food ( super free will be same as ee)

You have different hex A hex B check book, and you choose two hexa hex b per day instead of one of each.

Syns in book or online will be written in red.

It's recommended your sensible and still eat a lot of super free foods but it's not strict 1/3 like ee ( I still do third)

So say you fancy chicken salad and jacket potato on red day.

You have as much chicken and salad as wish, then weigh a jacket potato and have that as hexb ,can't remember exact weight off hand. You don't have to have carbs if you don't want to.

Same with spag Bol. As much meat and veg as wish, but weigh out hexb of whole meal pasta 35 g I think

Does that make sense? X

I've had all last week in red, and I'm going for this week too I think.

I've been eating for tea this week, probably an odd meal but I'm enjoying it.

Ham or chicken, lettuce, cucumber, beetroot, Airfry butternut squash cubes/ chips, boiled egg, with curly kale roasted in oven in fry lite ( tastes like Chinese seaweed) sprinkled on top.

I'm not sure how much going to class would help in this case as they are seeming to strategic everybody away from original & green and it's never mentioned anymore to new starters! Yes you can mix it up as long as you do one full day on any plan :)

that's why I don't really know much about red or green, just extra easy! i am finding it as it says extra easy but since starting 4 weeks ago i've only lost about 3 or so lb (i've gained 2 out of the 3 weigh ins, although last week i knew i would and the first week i knew i would because it was the first week and i never get the big weight loss)

I was originally on WW but was struggling with portion sizes, i lost most of my weight on WW but said i would try SW for a month or so as the food is better but if the losses carry on as they are i don't know what i will do :(

You can have any plan on any day? Monday red, tuesday green, Wednesday ee, whatever you fancy, as long as you check your free foods and hexa and syns are correct.

Off top of head veg with more carbs in are not free foods on red days. Peas, sweet corn kernels, parsnip, potatoes, mushy peas, or any peas

Think it depends on what suits you... If you don't eat loads prob ww is better but if you like the flexibility of foods and portion control then sw but it's a steady loss! But at the end of the day it just healthy eating so good training and education for a lifestyle change. A lot of ppl say they lose more on red (I hardly eat meat) so you could try it out the books will guide you through and any questions just ask :)

Do you not have much to lose? If you can try and stick it out, it's a better life plan and you'll never starve. Try bigger portions of super free and less of the free. People with less lose seem to go slower, I had lots to lose, 4.5 stone since June now :) I am not a big eater in the day or a snacked, but I turn into a monster at tea time lol. I have muller and fruit for breakfast, home made supper free soup for lunch, usually tomato or butternut squash, and then a big tea full of super free and then supper of my hexa hexb and my syns. It's worked for me, I've eaten all my syns from day one x

see with SW i don't seem to use my syns, maybe that's where i'm going wrong? I se maybe 6-10 each day? mostly my day is 3 egg omlette with bacon and mushrooms for breakfast, then for lunch i have usually carbs to be honest because theyre quick, either a pasta sauce or a jacket potato with HEXA cheese and tuna. then for tea I just mix and match, this is when i try and get the superfree in. I have a yoghurt every day and fruit most days. when i go shopping on a thursday this is the time of the week i eat the most superfree as i find fruit goes out of date quick so i eat it for 3-4 days of the week and i have at least 2 stir frys a week for tea so no carbs on those days and i make a superfree soup every week aswell and have that about half the week! x

It's doesn't sound like you are doing EE are you having a 3rd super free with every meal?

is it every meal?? I thought it was just 1/3 throughout the day? I have with every meal today but only because of the stir fry haha

To be honest if I ate a 3 egg omelette daily I'm not sure I would lose much, and I try not to eat the pasta sauces, unless desperate. My apples, pears, plums last all week. I buy tinned carrots and green beans etc to make sure there's always some form of super free to add to any meal. I make a batch of soup once a week, and fridge it. I have a ladle in a cup full for lunch, sometimes I add boiling water top it up, and a pear or fruit. If you see both my breakfast and lunch are neutral to any plan, so then I can chose what I fancy for tea, green carb overload, or red meaty or fish, or ee if I really fancy meat and chips etc. if your not having your ee third super free with every ee meal the plan won't work. That's why maybe red or green days or a mix may help you.

Green is same as red rules only obviously opposite, just check pages of book. So say you wanted jacket potato and tuna and salad, you would grab any jacket spud, hexb tuna plus salad ?? As all your protein is hexb on green. X

I usually get the pots with the strawberries, apple slices and grapes in (just found out they are sugary fruits though!)

and i was getting the strawberry activia but just started getting the muller lights, at least 1 each day sometimes 2 as i sometimes have one with breakfast

Why don't you try adding fruit to the yogurt?

i do if i am at home, i put the fruit in a bowl and pour the yoghurt over :)

Yes a third for each of your three meals, a third protein and a third carb etc..,

Try a more strict routine and see how you go next week :)

I eat better since EE came out as I live piling up my plate with super free and now generally do whatever plan
I'm
On :)

see i do love veg but it's just sometimes hard, that's why i have the stir fry and superfree soups thinking it would counteract, maybe not haha I will start trying it with every meal if i can (i have a 6 month old so sometimes its easier just to grab something haha) and see how i get on thanks :) x
