Yeh you count drinks too but its not bad as I've mostly drank water, if I have green tea then don't need milk in it and most diet drinks have almost no calories too (generally about 1cal per 250ml or similar).
That is really rare I have never heard of anyone keeping the weigh off on slimfast to be honest but good on him!
And Donna yeh I am not entirely sold on all the claims as well all sorts of crazy diets make all sorts of wild claims, what I do like with this one is noones really making money from it lol ;-) obviously there's books that sell but I mean there's not any branded products or weekly meetings or anything like that. But fasting is something that exists in a lot of religions and also is of course how people would have eaten back in the day - when there's food you eat when there's not you don't. It's meant to make you live longer, less prone to a lot of diseases (not very technical with the science here but basically even in short fasts your body cells go into repair mode). Some people do permanently very low calorie diet everyday, others fast for maybe a week at a time but they are far more drastic. JUDD tend to do alternate day fasting so every second day is low calorie, but they seem to find that even just doing it 2 days a week will give all the same health and weigh loss benefits.
Not really expecting much from it to be honest just thought it would suit this week as I want to try the new kitkat chunkys and off out to all you can eat world buffet tomorrow! ;-)
Anyway sorry know its a bit off topic as this is sw forum but was just wondering if anyone knew anyone on it as it seems to be very popular at the moment. I saw the horizon program on Bbc about it a while back but never really have it another thought until I read the book yesterday inspired by some friends on minimins trying it. X
