Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

its fairly easy to set up or you could ask mum to leave you instructions? sadly it is snowing here...boo

My mums really funny about it, when I asked if I could use it while she was away she said to get my brother to set it up for me, but my brother did quickly show me in case I need it this weekend.... if it is really cold I think I will go round and attempt to set it up.

well done. i too am hoping for sts at least. rather chuffed that i am not using my high syns as excuse to eat anything and everything. think i am turning a corner. just going to really careful over next few days although i was planning on red day so had toast for breakfast forgetting i had made pasta with bacon thru it for dinner...could make it extra easy though i had my heart set on BLT sandwich tonight for dinner argh argh

ah thanks..not sure going over syns counts but getting there. only have the pasta with me so will need to rethink dinner although i put the chicken back in freezer ugh...

I have tried eating more super free and drinking green tea but I need something to give my weight loss a kick start!!!

Then shahi murgh tandoori which is basically chicken on a sizzling plate with peppers, onions, tomatoes with sauce seperate. I never eat the sauce I just have it plain. Was gonna have it with mushroom pilau

No idea about the pakora or chicken rolls, but the rest sounds very low syn... just a couple of syns for any oil used in cooking but most of that goes in the sauce and pilau rice is 1 or 2 syns... sounds like good choices.

I woke up to a lovely surprise this morning, boyfriend doesn't agree with valentines and I know this, we've never done anything (well a couple of years we might have gone out for a meal but its difficult as we always have little one so has to be a weekend and the 18th is his BIrthday so we're sometimes busy for that weekend) anyway, little one woke me up with a card and a box of chocolates from him. They're those little prailine hearts from Cadburys, had them before slimming world and they're lovely and had a sneaky look at the cals and they're 8.5 syns for 5 chocolates which isn't too bad :)

Well, I've come to a decision of calling target at 8st 11lbs. Im back down to that after my weird 3lb gain last week & decided to weigh myself this morning as up early for work tomorrow & may forget!
A couple of reasons really.......
1. I've been bouncing up & down between 8.11 & 9st for about 2 months now & thats following the plan almost 100%.
2. I feel happy at this weight
3. Exercise has been non existant the last few months & thats probably why I cant shift the last few pounds & think the only way is going to be cycling, so until I can get my arse into gear & do it, I will stay static at this weight. If I lose weight with it great, but I need to tone now, not particularly lose the poundage on the scales.
4. Hormones are playing about with my body, so its a constant battle & I cant fight nature!
5. Lastly, is vanity lol! I hate to admit it, but Im starting to look 'scraggy' in my face lol!

Food wise Im going to experiment for a few weeks by following EE with adding in an extra HexB & if I need to an extra HexA. If the weight starts to creep on, I'll knock that on the head & go back to normal, but I need to have the structure of SW or I'll go off the rails again lol! So thought I would try this for a bit.....may not work, but I need to have some more normality, especially when I start with the exercise push. Looking back thru my diaries, I do tend to lose more weight when I've had a couple of off plan days, so do wander if I've been too restrictive & haven't been eating enough. So, by still following the plan, but adding in 1 or 2 extra Hex's it may give my body a boost......can but try!

I'll stay on here as well, as need the support, so really wont be any different except in my own head lol! Im not saying Im stressed, but I do think about SW all the time & forever planning meals etc, so if I can get a bit more normality & take that stress out....which can stop weight loss.......I may see my magic number of 8st 7lbs on the scales!!!

Good plan Miss Kim. I like it!! i realised i am quite happy too - as i always say, i know i just need to tone so we are in the same boat. I dont want to go up past 8st 7lb and i am 8st 6lb just now. I will keep "trying" by following what i am doing less syns of course, to lose some more weight (esp as i am planning a christening and surprise wedding) but that is a another story hee hee

I thnk you have hit the nail on the head though kim and probably explained how i feel in a nutshell - you can do SW no problem but when you need to think just that little bit too much it wears me down - not saying thats what is happening with you but its good to take a deep breath and see how it all goes. I think we are all at a stage where we dont eat bad all the time, we make the right choices and we can know what to do or not to do. Sometimes as you have said before, cals in, cals out and it really can, with a bit of excercise be that way. I have said before that i need to tell myself i am following a plan with a weigh in as it keeps me eating the family size bags of crisps or bars of choc just for. I wouldnt say i eat a lot, prob not enough but have some bad habits that need to get cut back on

I think you almost have to give yourself permission to do certain things & say 'its alright' to do it. I've been on a dieting bandwagon most of my adult life & being petite means every pound shows, but SW had given me the structure & discipline I need. I've always eaten healthily, but its those little extra's that creep in, which is fine every now & then, but not all the time. Im looking forward to having those Hex's & trying more EE, as I think I will eat more, but if its detrimental I'll obviously reassess. Im not purposefully going to have extra, but if I want it to fit in with my daily meals I will.
I'll keep you all posted how the days go with this new way of eating & fingers crossed it will be beneficial!

P.S What surprise wedding.......yours????? x
 
Someone please shout at me!!!!!!

I went out for lunch yesterday with my mum and didn't choose the right things. Then that night out friends from Germany flew over to stay with us and we had loads of drink And my bf gave me loads of chocolate for vday, so I ate a fell box of ferrao rocher and milk tray.

Then today I thought I would be good and detox my body. So I had a herbalife shake for breakfast and lunch with a banana. And then my mum asked me for lunch and I had a sweet chilli chicken wrap and chips. And now I've just stuffed another box of malteasers into me. Ugh. I'm not eating for the rest of the day.

Our friends from Germany r back to ours tomorrow to stay the full weekend and we r going out to dinner and drinks tomorrow and then drinks again on sat. Ugh fml
 
I'm not having a great week either Charlene, yesterday and Tuesday I only had 4.5 syns... but gave in to peer pressure and ate a dumplin at school today... no idea on the syns, won't be as bad as a proper dumplin as they won't use suet ect. but its just annoying as I don't even know why I ate it, just because others were and they offered a few times :/

Wouldn't be too worried but with me being out this weekend and on Monday was trying to stay more in control. Might not be a bad thing though as I always loose better if I do have at least some syns each day. Going to try and hold off on my valentines chocolates until next week, which might be easy actually as I can't open them until I'm having them with little one and I'm running tonight, then on Friday he's at his Dad's until Sunday night (so will have to hope he doesn't mention them Sunday night) then Monday is boyfriends Birthday so we're out and will be having cake haha. So maybe Wednesday will be a good day to open them.


At least it's nearly the weekend
 
really pleased I went to running club today even though my mum wasn't going, got talking to loads of people and had a lovely time. I was a wuss and did the shorter run ended up doing 3.99 miles, but I'm going to go with the faster people next week, I've told them to make sure I do.... a little scared that I'll end up loosing them though :/

well lost 1.25lb. cant believe it. Very aware that it may play catch up next week due to my extra syns but very happy happy. Now 8st 4.5lb. The extra syns was probably 800 syns but would need to go and check if it was as much. Why when you wake up feeling as if you havent lost you lose then when you feel slim you have put on - very strange
plan on being on plan minus tonight - bought M&S deal yesterday so going to have that plus glass of wine but will check out the syns or just go off plan but not sure??
then kick some as* this week. Will see how i get on and if the scales are slowing down i will need to start excercise
