Good evening all
Back from shopping and dinner eaten -although I decided rather than start doing the tortillas when we got back I would shove jackets in the remoska to cook whilst we were out and the tortillas will be done tomorrow
So it now looks like this:-
250ml semi (A)
apple
activia (2.5)
orange
lemon n black pepper salmon
tickled cabbage
tickled beetroot
lettuce
cucumber
tomatoes
pineapple
227g jacket (B)
cottage cheese
lettuce
cucumber
tomatoes
onions
peppers
pineapple
apple
250ml semi (A)
fibre plus (B)
So Im back down to only 2.5syns
But I will make up for it tomorrow :sign0151:
Anyhoo -we are fully topped up with water, cottage cheese, fruit n veg again ......
ooooh and my sports bra has arrived *very attractive* :giggle: -it took hubby to wedge me in it as it has a normal positioned pair of hooks and then 2 between the shoulders blades -I have told hubby he may have to fasten me in every morning before he goes to work and then roll me back over to sleep -apparently THAT is against every mans natural instinct "trying to get a girl into her bra" -Im sure it will give in a few weeks... but the good bit is that it blinkin works -no amount of bouncing and wiggling can make these bad boys so much as twitch :bliss: -( in case anyone is needing one its a "shock absorber -level 4) now I can shred in comfort (well sort of)
woo hoo Ela ine.... Glad you are up back and at it!!!!
The soup is soooo simple....its a "test n adjust" recipe so you can alter to suit...
*1 chicken carcass.... just strip all the meat off your roast, throw away any skin/fat
*Drop it in a saucepan with 1lt cold water, bring to the boil and simmer for at least 3hrs
*strain out all the bones (leave them to cool and you can pull off any meaty bits)
*add about 1/2 bag frozen corn (I chucked it in the jug today so i could share the recipe and it was 1lt) or a couple of tins will do including the liquid...
*cook for a few minutes until defrosted
*I zap it in the pan with a hand blender (it goes all foamy but that will disappear) -you want to leave it lumpy,
*return to the heat -
*mix 2tbs cornflour (7syns) with a drop of cold water
*add to the soup, stirring over a low heat (to fast and it will go gloopy) once thickened add plenty of seasoning and any chicken bits you want... It does need quite a lot of salt -you can use soy -but you lose the pretty colour
Now then mine made 8 portions -so 1 syn each on green/EE (don;t forget to count if you put lots of chicken in) -you can also add some broken up noodles to it and cook until softened, a handful of frozen peas, or the green bits off the spring onions (told you I don't waste anything )
I hope that waffle makes sense -just yell me if you need help...
ooh and Mrs -have you been on my "just giving page?" if so thankyou sooo much :thankyou:-I was sat there like a pilock muttering Elaine xyz.. who's that? hmm I don't know and then the the penny dropped -its really kind of you...
I will keep my eye out whilst Im recipe searching and post any soupy recipes that might be good!
