Baby Charlie has arrived so lets get on with shedding the rest of this wobble!!!

Good evening all

Back from shopping and dinner eaten -although I decided rather than start doing the tortillas when we got back I would shove jackets in the remoska to cook whilst we were out and the tortillas will be done tomorrow :D

So it now looks like this:-

250ml semi (A)
apple
activia (2.5)
orange

lemon n black pepper salmon
tickled cabbage
tickled beetroot
lettuce
cucumber
tomatoes

pineapple
227g jacket (B)
cottage cheese
lettuce
cucumber
tomatoes
onions
peppers

pineapple
apple
250ml semi (A)
fibre plus (B)
So Im back down to only 2.5syns
But I will make up for it tomorrow :sign0151:

Anyhoo -we are fully topped up with water, cottage cheese, fruit n veg again ......
ooooh and my sports bra has arrived *very attractive* :giggle: -it took hubby to wedge me in it as it has a normal positioned pair of hooks and then 2 between the shoulders blades -I have told hubby he may have to fasten me in every morning before he goes to work and then roll me back over to sleep :rotflmao: -apparently THAT is against every mans natural instinct "trying to get a girl into her bra" :rotflmao: -Im sure it will give in a few weeks... but the good bit is that it blinkin works -no amount of bouncing and wiggling can make these bad boys so much as twitch :bliss:
-( in case anyone is needing one its a "shock absorber -level 4) now I can shred in comfort (well sort of)
woo hoo Ela ine.... Glad you are up back and at it!!!!

The soup is soooo simple....its a "test n adjust" recipe so you can alter to suit...

*1 chicken carcass.... just strip all the meat off your roast, throw away any skin/fat
*Drop it in a saucepan with 1lt cold water, bring to the boil and simmer for at least 3hrs
*strain out all the bones (leave them to cool and you can pull off any meaty bits)
*add about 1/2 bag frozen corn (I chucked it in the jug today so i could share the recipe and it was 1lt) or a couple of tins will do including the liquid...
*cook for a few minutes until defrosted
*I zap it in the pan with a hand blender (it goes all foamy but that will disappear) -you want to leave it lumpy,
*return to the heat -
*mix 2tbs cornflour (7syns) with a drop of cold water
*add to the soup, stirring over a low heat (to fast and it will go gloopy) once thickened add plenty of seasoning and any chicken bits you want... It does need quite a lot of salt -you can use soy -but you lose the pretty colour
Now then mine made 8 portions -so 1 syn each on green/EE (don;t forget to count if you put lots of chicken in) -you can also add some broken up noodles to it and cook until softened, a handful of frozen peas, or the green bits off the spring onions (told you I don't waste anything :p)
I hope that waffle makes sense -just yell me if you need help...

ooh and Mrs -have you been on my "just giving page?" if so thankyou sooo much :thankyou:-I was sat there like a pilock muttering Elaine xyz.. who's that? hmm I don't know  and then the the penny dropped :p -its really kind of you...

I will keep my eye out whilst Im recipe searching and post any soupy recipes that might be good!

Hi Soccermom and thankyou :D
I don't see it being a problem using a different oil -I generally grab the first one in the cupboard
Gillian does get easier, I was amazed as Im soooo unfit -but the difference on day 5 from day 1 shocked me.. although Im still following the blonde girl on the right ... the one on the left is far too much for me...

Hi Mel -hope you like them...

Right I had better get off and catch up.. have a great evening all and keep at it!!!

haha my hubbs agrees with the bra thing, i just bought a sports bra but it don't stop them jumping, its the only one i could find in my size, thinking they assume ladies who have larger (.)(.) shouldn't exercise, they may have a point, haha! Food sounds yummy for today x

Ahaha my sports bra is way to big... And too Flimsy! I need a smaller, tighter one!

Thanks for the soup - going to give it a go :D

I was on your page - and you're welcome :)
Happy shredding delia xx

Good evening ladies

I have to say the sports bra is great -once you have got the damn thing on :p - I got hubby to strap me in and then I did my shred again :giggle:, and god it was great -no bouncing boobs (perhaps they could make one for bellies :rotflmao:) and the best thing of all was not having to constantly pull my straps up :bliss:,
The good news is that I can unhook the thing myself so Im hoping after a few times wearing it, it will give a little so I can get it on myself :cross:

Nicki -this is the first sports bra I have been able to have, and it has always annoyed me.. OK so if our boobs are THAT big we don't expect them to not move at all -but some kind of support would be a start, its a bit like how most lines of sports wear only go up to a medium -like the rest of us don't need to exercise

Ela ine I can certainly recommend the shock absorber bra I have, not pretty -but sooooooo secure n comfy...

oooooooooh and thankyou to both of you for donating to my fund raising :thankyou:

Right I had better go and catch up again... sleep well all

Hiya! I have that same bra with the two hook bits! I found it got easier to do up and now I can do it up fine. it's a fantastic bra, nothing budges a millimetre once your fastened in!! I agree that I need a special one made for my belly though as that's what I can feel swinging about when I exercise ;)

Oooh, is shock absorber the name of the brand? I must google - all this wobbling ain't comfy! Not having to yoink up the straps sounds AMAZING!

Thank you for the good luck wishes Elai_ne and Capricorn - 1.5 off for me tonight, woo hoo! Have celebrated with an options and 11syns of baileys... (I'd not had any today so it's all legit ;))

Can someone link the bra? I am constantly pulling up the staps and *cough* adjusting!

The 'sports bra' I bought gives less support than my actual bra! Tsk!

*boom* day 9 shredded :bliss:

Good morning all

before I forget -here is the link to that bra I have Ela ine :-

Shock Absorber Max Sports Bra Top White: Amazon.co.uk: Sports & Leisure

When it comes though you have an extra set of hooks above where the round hole is so you fasten it properly on 2 lots of hooks rather than pull it over your head... I will definitely be sticking with this brand as I shrink -the straps didn't budge once :happy096:
When I finally bite the bullet and buy a swimsuit I want one with a racer back-so I can actually swim without fidgeting :D

Wenchie -well done on your loss :party0011:

I can't believe I got up early (well, early by my standards :p) and did my workout -although it did seem pointless trying to go back to sleep once I was strapped into my "shock absorber" :rotflmao:
So then I WILL be having a red day today -which WILL look something like this:-
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • pineapple
    [*]activia (2.5)
    [*]yellow plums
  • roast chicken -wants using up
  • lettuce
    [*]cucumber
    [*]tomato
    [*]pepper
    [*]tickled onions
    [*]tickled cabbage
  • frozen cherries
  • frozen raspberries
  • activia (2.5)
  • BIG hm tortilla (8)
  • mustard mayo chicken (1)
  • salad *as above*
  • 2 yellow plums
  • pineapple
  • fibre plus (B)
  • 250ml semi (A)
Now I make that 2A+1B and 14 syns :happy036: -so I really need to use another B -not sure how or if I will manage it -but I will try :D

So then, as I have done my shred and have the stuff I made yesterday to cover extra lunches I may well dedicate my day today to sorting out and typing up more recipes :giggle:

Right I will get off and get my brekkie -have a lovely day everyone and keep up the great work :party0011:

Capricorn!! I lost 4lbs this week so i'm giving you some of the credit for your recipes that i stole :D
Sorry flower- nearly missed you  I must have been typing at the same time
:woohoo::woohoo: on a great loss, don't say it was my recipes its your hard work is paying off :banana dancer:
Hope you have another good week -keep up the great work...

good morning Capricorn, well done on being shredded I have to do mine yet but it will be done.

If you are writing up recipes is there any chance of putting the Indian Pattie one on here, cheeky I know :D

Have a great day.

Thanks in advance no worries if not don't stress about it x

Morning Capricorn et al :D

Cheers for the bra link (I've added it to my wish list - hurrah for a decent sports bra in a decent size!). I'm trying to work out what exercise I'm going to do this evening - I went heavy on the yoga and muscle workouts on monday night and now my obliques and stomach muscles are really protesting (given I was trying to work them, I guess I got it right!) so things that focus too much on there are a bit of a no! There are a couple of the Dance on Broadway routines that I might be able to manage without crippling myself (honestly, I keep laughing and wincing!)...hrm! How do you manage recovery/rest days?

Congrats Surzy! That's a cracking loss, especially so far into your journey :)

Thanks hun! Will get one ordered when I get paid at the end of the month - currently spent all my pennies on a holiday
whattt.

LOL typing that in here just made me realise I'm going to have to be half naked on a beach in a very short time :\

Anyway - well done with your shred - speed racer!

Good luck with today. mwah x

:woohoo::woohoo: on a great loss, don't say it was my recipes its your hard work is paying off :banana dancer:
Hope you have another good week -keep up the great work...

Thank you!! I'm 1lb away from my illusive Club 10 so that's the minimum I want this week ... 3lbs away from my 2.5st award .... so that would just be amazing!!

Love this thread ... you guys rock xxx

Afternoon lovely people :wavey:

It is super :character00238: here today .... so Im feeling rather :D

Anyhoo I have just done some more exercise :party0011:-the first challenge was getting my sports bra back on (that was a workout in its self :rotflmao:) but I did it -so no more waking up early for hubby to do it :bliss: (god how bizarre does that sound :silly: -having to get fastened into your bra :p)
so then I decided to tackle a 10 min "belly fat blaster" after that I thought "oooh not too bad I will do a bit more" -so I had a bash at a 10 min "ab ripper" -lets just say calling it "10 min gut buster" would be moe accurate *a owwwwwww* :giggle: .....
I really don't know what is happening to me at one time you couldn't get my ass off the sofa  -anyway thats a bit more done for today :bunnydance:

Hiya soccer mom -I will copy the curried pork patties recipe over in a moment (not sure why its not on here ) -hope you are having a good day

Hi Wenchie - at the moment I haven't had a day off for 9 days -but its only because I don't think I work out as hardcore as a lot of folks, so I just see it as "little n often" , Im sure I will have a day off at some point
I think we are alike in as much as we both are trying to target our bellies - Im under no illusion that Im gonna get a 6 pack as I have soooo much "fatta podge" on that area in particular that Im gonna have to shed a lot more of it before anything looks toned, although at least the muscles underneath should be stronger and hopefully help pull things in :cross:

Ela ine -I hope you have someone to help haul you into the bra the first couple of times :giggle:

Which half of you are you planning on getting naked on that beach then? :rotflmao: I bet you will have a great time . Hope you are having a good day...

oooh surzy thats good -I like it when you get mini targets close together , it makes it all seem so much more achievable doesn't it  - I have all sorts of mini goals in my head it helps keep me focussed each week -rather than aiming for my overall tagrget -not that I know what it is yet :p

ooohh in fact thanks for the inspiration, Im going to make a list of my mini targets and pop them on here so I can tick em off :D Thankyou :D

Right Im off to get that done ..*motivation, motivation can never have enough*
Have a superb afternoon all....

Ooh glad I could help - little goals - how ever daft help me through it :)

*Fills in F.I.T. log for body magic* "15 minutes: Struggling into Bra, high intensity. Planned" :D

Thank you for sharing how you're doing it, that really does help me plan my attack - I think I need to keep switching up what I'm doing so I can keep at the little'n'often; certainly cardio's not a painful-the-next-day thing!

That's exactly what I'm looking to do - kind of like internal pull-you-in knickers :8855: and if nothing else it's really good for one's posture so we'll be standing taller, anyway :D

It's gorgeous and sunny here, too - it fair lifts the spirits, doesn't it? I'm all Tigger-esque today because of it (and the caffiene, I suspect...:p)

Indian curried pork patties recipe

Before I forget:-

Indian curried pork patties:-
serves 4

free on EE/Red
14syns per serving on green

*1 red chilli -de-seeded and chopped
*4 spring onions-sliced
*2 cloves garlic-peeled and crushed
*2lb extra lean minced pork
*2tsp ground cumin
*2tsp ground coriander
*3tbs chopped fresh coriander -I leave this out
*1tsp ground ginger
*2oz fat free natural yoghurt
*grated zest of 1 lime -I leave this out
*seasoning
*low cal spray -I leave this out
salsa
1 mango, peeled,stoned and diced
1/2 red pepper -deseeded and chopped
4tbs fresh chopped mint
juice 1 lime
*for the burgers -mix 1-11 in a bowl and cover and chill for at least 30 mins
*shape into 8 patties -I chill again at this stage

for the salsa -mix the ingredients and season to taste

You have got to love recipes that simple haven't you ladies
now the recipe says to spray the patties with low cal oil and grill for 5-6 mins on each side ...

I don't use the oil and drop them into a non-stick frying pan to seal both sides and then put in the oven to bake !!!!
I can't vouch for the salsa as I don't make it!

Right now Im back to :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
I don't know what in the bejeezus is going on, it gets to about 1hr before dinner and I decide I don't want it, and I don't know what I want to eat instead  .... Im just not hungry

so my food so far today looks like this:-
250ml semi (A)
pineapple
yellow plums

roast chicken -wants using up
lettuce
cucumber
tomato
pepper
tickled onions
tickled cabbage

pineapple
******
not had these yet!!!

fibre plus (B)
250ml semi (A)

well that comes in at a sorry 2A+1B and NO bl**dy syns :asskick: - Im not sure if my * week is approaching, unlike most who get really hungry then I feel perminently like I have just finished eating :silly:... I will see if I get hungry later....
Anyhoo -instead of the tortillas hubby opted for my easy cheesy pasta (tis scrummy) so that was a nice quick dinner for him sorted :D

Wenchie -I like to swap n change what I do so my poor ole bod doesn't know what to expect :sign0151: I will stick with Gillian on a daily basis though as I like her :silly:, then I will swap through my other 10 min workouts, the wii and plenty of walking

Right I will finish this bit here and then put my mini target list up on a seperate post....
Have a lovely evening all

Oh Jill - you're such a hoot! :giggle:
Unfortunately I have no one to help me in to the bra *cough* so you can well imagine what I will look right struggling around the room with my arms over my head trying to clip myself in :rotflmao:

Aha - which half... I would have to go with the top half since my thighs are HUGE and should not allowed to be seen in daylight.. and my rack is ahem... :banana dancer: well, shall we say they're big enough to distract the attention away from my ever bigger stomach :yuk:
So yeah, I am going to be much more :faint2: than :character00180:teeheehe :giggle:! But after all the swimming I'll be doing in the next two weeks I may be able to hide in the sea:mermaid:

Okay - off to do some wii before I go out tonight (for a meal, no less)

Sounds like you're having a great day hun xx

All I have to say is - at least when you mess up it's because you don't eat what you plan to and you don't use all your syns!!
Wish this was the only ways I went wrong!
