Woop woop -I was a good girl and MADE myself have something for dinner sooooooo for the final time :-

So I will be up early to do the shred so i can get my hair washed (takes an age to dry) .... so I don't go out looking like a scruff bucket...

Happy shredding later, in a vague attempt to join in all these shred threads, I've bought Davina's pregnancy DVD, so I'm going to kick that off after work. The reviews say it's quite easy going and doesn't really work up a sweat but I'm ok with that - my exercise at the moment is limited to just walking so don't want anything too tough!

I popped in for a quick look. I will, by Easter, have a good slug of "Offline" money to put on mine, as my sponsor form for swimming is mounting up quite nicely.
There's still such a long way to go, isn't there? Have you got any more ideas for "big" fundraising projects? I'm contemplating having a barn dance, but am a bit :eek: about the responsibility, and the amount of organisation it will take! Still - we need the big things as well as the drip-feed of little things, don't we?

And well done on all that exercise. You'll certainly be pretty fit by the time those pesky Himalayas come into view. I hope I will too: the swimming is helping, but in a bizarre way I'm actually looking forward to getting back to Jillian!

I got here eventually - oooohh and excitement of excitement I went out today in one of my new dresses (have only worn a dress once since I got married nearly 8 years ago :eek:) ...anyhoo I put on my SIZE 16 Maxi dress with a little open knit black bolero thingy and I felt amazing :giggle:, and it was lovely walking around the golf course not feeling all hot n bothered :bliss: -just need to get in all the others now ;)
Anyhoo we had the walk soooo my meal plan did change a bit *kell suprise* :p

We stopped off at the naafi on the way back and I removed all 10 boxes of fibre plus bars from their shelves :whistle: -well they are hit n miss about getting them in so now Im safe for quite a while ;). ooohh and :copon: I haven't done the shred today because as soon as I got back and got the dinner on I went in the bifbafbof and dyed my hair :D BUT I will get it done tomorrow ....and I did have a 3hr walk :whacky068:

Sarah - take it nice n gently, have you considered swimming? I don't know if you have looked at the la redoute site much but when I was "browsing" yesterday there seemed to be quite a few bits in with other stuff -I nearly sent you links but didn't want to swamp you :p

Hiya Jim... Im hoping that the car boot in May will raise a bit to add to my account :cross:, Im having a right ole fettle to get rid of as much stuff as I can. I have no big plans at the moment as even though the squaddy community is really supportive there are just so many events going on that it seems unfair to put more pressure on, I will come up with something though Im sure and failing that then when I get back to the UK I have a few ideas..

I'd love to go swimming but unfortunately I can't easily get to a pool as neither me nor hubby drive (YET - he started lessons this week!), so my options would be getting home at 6pm and jumping on a bus to the nearest pool and I'm not even sure how late the buses run, or joining the hotel gym by my office and going mornings or lunchtimes, but it's £28 a month which I don't think I can justify at the moment.
Was too tired to do my Davina DVD last night though so had a gorgeous soak in the bath instead :D

I did check out La Redoute thanks for the link, and picked 3 things in the sale I really fancied, but when I got to check out they said 2 of them had sold out :mad:, but I'll have a look again. I was a bit dubious because they only go up to a 16, but all the other maternity trousers I've tried in an 18 have been huge so maybe I'd be ok in 16's... I'll have another peek later today (when I should be working :whistle:)

Morning Capricorn et al - I second Elaine's call for a picture, incidentally, your dress sounds lovely and perfect for a warm walk! :D

Getting Fibre pluses here can be a bit hit or miss, too (or, I suspect, they appear on the shelves and everyone's so glad to see them they all buy 4 boxes and they vanish off the shelves again!)... I currently have 6 boxes stockpiled :eek:

Hope it's as lovely there as it is here today (isn't if fab to finally have spring!?)

Hello ladies

No photo Im affraid -I will get hubby to get a pic next time I put it on -probably Saturday if we pop out (and it isn't pee-ing it down) :p
Then I will need to find the disc to load the camera back onto the PC as we had it serviced and had to have everything taken back to factory settings -so I lost all that kind of stuff :mad:

Wenchie -I can only get fibre plus bars in the naafis out here €2.69 a sodding box :eek: -but they are so hit n miss at having them in that Im affraid I have been a selfish moo and cleared the shelf :eek: -but, well -needs must ehhh ;)

Sarah -thats a shame about the swimming, still as long as you enjoy what exercise you do and only do what you fancy -thats the main thing....
Hope you get some maternity clothes to tide you over... the thing with la redoute is they are constantly adding to their sales all the time so its a case of keep checking...
If you see anything in their spring range I have a code for £30 off when you spend £60 -which might be of use -(there are the usual conditions on it though) -let me know if you are interested and I will PM you the info...
