Thank you - finished the day with 8 syns and had a sneaky peak at the scales before bed. On target for a 3 or 4 lb loss

woohoo - I lost 4lb!!!! still not slimmer of the week though, but you can't have everything
still feeling focused and on plan. Just Saturday night out this week to manage but will keep syns low during the day and on the Sunday and see what happens.
Well done Blondcat on your 5lb. I once did a 500 cal day and it felt like a 48 hour ordeal to me as I spent the following day recovering from feeling so lacking in energy. People do get used to it though and I am sure you will feel better with a bit more food in you today and lose loads by next week. Good luck

Today was going very well and was on course for a red day until DH suggested indian takeaway. I haven't done too badly as they go (Chicken shaslik and plain rice mainly) but quick conversion to an EE day with more than 15 syns sadly.
Never mind - I could have had half a naan (had just a tiny piece) or creamy sauce or mango chutney (too much sugar) and I didn't. I did have at least one poppadom and a small bit of bombay potatoes though.
So now I need to decide - another attempt at a red day or back to EE?

was going nicely until I saw a packet of left over supermarket cookies on my worktop 1 1/2 gone. At least there are none left. Sugar - tick, syn overload - tick. Can anyone talk me down from giving up on the day/week????
Thanks bossy Cat. What I needed to hear. Not really an on plan evening last night with half a sandwhich for a snack and two fajitas for supper but if I were calorie counting those choices would not have been too very bad. So draw a line again and plan for today. I am out tonight at a birthday party where I imagine there will be a buffet. I think I am driving so no prob with alcohol. Perhaps an Ee day with no more than 5 syns before the party. One helping of the buffet - fairly free range except avoiding sugar. And lots of dancing! Sounds like a plan
