Back to Slimming World! I WILL lose the weight!

Not long until the weekend! Looking forward to a nice, long lie in :) Looking forward to the christmas break too, I really fancy chilling out reading a good book!

Well I was pleasantly surprised at the gym last night. Was having a chat with my instructor and he was telling me I looked trimmer to which I replied that I hadn't lost any weight in a few weeks and if anything had gained a pound or two! He told me to have my BMI, fat % and muscle % read, so I told him to expect it to have gone up! Anyway once he had done the reading my fat % has gone down to 23% from 30% and my muscle % is now at 77%! (Water % is all separate) I was happy with the results but shocked at how I have 'toned' up! I really can't see a difference and I've barely been to the gym! But I have kept going and I am eating a lot more protein than I used to, so maybe this is why? Oh well I think I should just accept it as the truth! Maybe when I'm more 'toned' I'll shift a few more pounds!


Anyway on to todays food plan:


Breakfast: OSS Hex B

Lunch: Gammon salad, beetroot, egg, 1 syn mayo, cheese Hex A, yogurt

Dinner: Stuffed chicken breast (ham and cheese Hex A), BNS chips, veg 1 syn ketchup

Snacks: 25g Baked llamas 6 syns (work), hot choc 2.5 syns (home), 1 digestive 3.5 syns & 2 syns choc philly (home), apple, 2 alpen light Hex B (work)



Syns: 15.5

Week: 53/105
 
Total fail on dinner last night! TOTM so the OH bought a KFC! Had 4 pieces and some chips :( oops. Also had 4 celebrations! It could have been worse though I guess!

I am really thinking about going back to WW, it just seem to works so much better than SW! I think I over do it!



Food so far today:

Breakfast: Muller

Snack: Caramel Snack a jack 2.5, alpen light Hex B

Lunch: Soup 4 syns(?) & 1 piece of bread Hex B, greek yog 0.5 syns

Dinner: At the OH's parents!



I think I'm just going to use the diet as guidance until christmas and then kick start fresh in the new year. Too many christmas things on to stay fully on tracK! But I'll be as good as I can!
 
I know why I'm not losing weight, I'm just not sticking to it! I don't think I'm going to be able to stick to it until Christmas has been and gone. I have a meal out on Wed, a Christmas work meal on Thurs, Saturday a Christmas meal with friends at home and then another Christmas meal on the 23rd, then Christmas itself! The least I can do is maintain and not gain! I shall try my best! Too many social events!

Had a few too many treats over the weekend... meal at the future possible in laws, Trip to the German Market, chocolates!!!! Oh dear oh dear!!! January looks like a good time to get strict!


On todays food: Green

Breakfast: OSS HEX B with 1 tsp of Golden Syrup 1 syn

Lunch: Salmon & egg salad 5 syns with 1 syn mayo, 2 x baby bel HEX A, muller light

Dinner: Jacket potato with 25g cheese Hex A, corn on cob, butter 1 syn, salad, 1 syn mayo, beetroot


Snacks: Alpen light HEX B, Kelkin chocolate rice cake 4.5 syns, apple, muller


Syns: 13.5
 
Oh dear... ate a fair few celebrations last night! :(

Luckily everything else I eat is healthy! I just seem to have a bad habit of snacking... on bad things! At least my weight isn't going up.... just not losing. I will stay focused for a January body buff month!



Breakfast:

OSS HEXB with 1tbsp golden syrup 2 syns

Lunch: Tomato mug shot, 2 x babybel HEXA, muller

Dinner: Out with friends - probably something carby!!!

Snacks: Apple, alpen light, kelkin rice cake 4.5 syns

Hi all! I've come back to slimming world after being off any type of plan for the past 4 months. Luckily I've not gained any weight really but I do still need to lose at least a pound! Now I have some major events/milestones out of the way I can get back to the diet.

My cousin and a friend are also doing it so hopefully it will help me stick to it! We're all going to follow the extra easy plan.

breakfast, 1 crumpet 4 syns, marmite

lunch, omelette, ham, spring onion, cheese hex a

dinner, pulled pork with roll hex b, sweet potato fries, salad.

Snacks, syn free hummus, carrot, ham

dessert, frozen muller, hot choc 2 syns

so for the moment I'm on 6 syns!
 
Day 1 of SW seemed to go quite well! Although I wasn't too keen on the pulled pork recipe form the latest mag, the sauce used red wine vinegar and it was really sharp.

Heading to the gym tonight! Aiming to go tonight, tomorrow and Thursday, a minimum of 3 times a week! I'm hoping that I can get by at work with healthy snacks this week... I always find I get hungry when I'm sat behind a desk!


Breakfast: OSS plain with sweetener and cinnamon Hex B

Lunch: Ainsley Harriot cous cous 0.5 syns, pork, muller light

Dinner: Salmon, Parmesan Hex A & light pesto 1tbsp 1.5 syns, BNS chips, selection of normal and med roasted veg

Snacks: Apple, jelly 0.5 syns, Kallo Rice Cake 2.5 syns, 4 Mikado sticks 2 syns, hot choc 2 syns, cookie 2 syns

I followed your ww diary. I yo yoing between diets can't seem to stick to one benifits on each of them. Here to follow your sw journey :D Best of luck with it :)

I just found myself not sticking to it and always feeling hungry. I've tried SW before and didn't really achieve much but I think I gave up too easily and too early! Also truth being told I stuck to the plan in the week and didn't really stick to it at the weekend! So I'm hoping I may see a small loss for next Monday! I like that you don't have to count everything in points on SW, so if you're hungry you can eat something free! I know you can on WW too but fruit and veg doesn't really tend to satisfy my hunger!

I've been terrible since new year can't get passed the 1stone loss keep putting a pound on n off the nxt week. Do you attend a class or are you doing it on your own??

Sorry I didn't see your post until just now! I'm actually eating less crap now because I'm filling up on the healthier things (no limit to pasta!!) I can't even get past the 3lb mark at the moment, so you're doing brill to keep the stone there ( give or take the odd pound ;) ) I don't attend classes as I just don't have the time! So I follow at home only. It helps that I have this site and also a few of my friends are doing it! X

I'm sooooo tired today :( Had a good session in the gym so that wore me out! I'm also on my own again in the office covering 2 jobs, and I think it will be like this for the rest of the week! I love being busy, but it's when staff come to me with 'can I have this now' jobs forgetting that I have a million and one other things to do!

I feel like I'm doing quite well on the diet so far, not craving naughty things (which has shocked me!), I've only really eaten the odd mikado and rice cake! Living on frozen mullers at the mo, next best thing to ice cream and they last quite a while! I must stick at this for at least 3 weeks, see if I get results. I'm not going to give up easily!


Today's food:


Breakfast: Sausage sandwich, roll hex b, 2 ww sausages 1 syn

Lunch: Left over macaroni cheese hex a, muller

Dinner: Smokey chilli and rice, frozen muller with milky way magic stars 3.5 syns

Snacks: Apple, ham, 8 x mikado 4 syns,

Another busy busy busy day! Spent 3 hours photocopying this morning.... not part of my job but someone has to do it!


Food today:


Breakfast: Beans on toast Hex b

Lunch: Leftover Mac n cheese Hex a, muller

Dinner: Chicken Tagliatelle

Snacks: Muller, 8 x Mikado 4 syns, yoomoo 7.5 syns, mini haribo 3.5 sysyns

total: 15 syns.


i can def tell its TOTM!

What a week! So happy Friday has arrived :)

Where has this nice weather come from? It's a lovely day today!

Breakfast: 2 ww sausages 1 syn, Bread Hex b

Lunch: Chicken, ham & potato salad, light mayo 1 syn, muller light

Dinner: eating a chinese at a friends! Think I'll have chicken in oyster sauce 4.5 syns with boiled rice or boiled noodles!

Snacks: fridge raiders 2.5, Apple, 8 x mikado 4 syns
