Back to Slimming World! I WILL lose the weight!

Hiya lovely! Your menus are looking good :) I really must try the diet coke chicken, I've never tried it! Also fancy trying the fanta chicken. Something for the weekend maybe :) Hope you have a good week hun xx

Thank you, I think they are slowly improving! Keep meaning to take pics of meals, might have that as my weekly goal next week!

I was slightly skeptical over the diet coke chicken but it was really nice! I used this recipe:

4 chicken breasts diced
1 can of diet coke/coke zero
6 tbsp of passata
1 tsp of worcestor sauce
1 diced onion
fry light

1. Fry the chicken and onion in fry light until the chicken is cooked
2. Add the coke, passata and worcestor sauce
3. cook for 10-15 minutes until the sauce has turned thick and sticky, the sauce will greatly reduce
4. Serve with wedges/rice and salad


I halved the recipe I was only cooking for me (this serves 2) but I ended up accidently putting in 1 tbsp of Worcs sauce! Although I really liked it! It's like a sweet bbq sauce, really good. Will have again next week!

Busy busy busy day ahead! Working late tonight and another late day tomorrow as it's Open Evening! Lot's to prepare...


Today's menu: Wed 3rd Oct

7am Breakfast: 2 x wholemeal bread Hex B with mushrooms, 1 slice bacon, 1 tsp ketchup 1 syn
9am breakfast: 2 x weetabix Hex b with a ww yogurt (should keep me going until break time!)

Lunch: 2 baby bel Hex A, Salad with beetroot, egg, smoked salmon and 1 ww sausage 1 syn. ( I literally just threw everything in!) 1 muller light

Dinner: Probably Poached Salmon with vegetables, sauce made from light garlic & herb Philly 2 syns.

Snacks: ham, apple, aplen light 3 syns, options 2.5 syns, muller light with 1 mini meringue mixed in 1 syn, milk Hex A, 1.5 syns worth popcorn


Total syns: 12



Tomorrow I think I may opt for a green day. Will be extra busy so I'll bring in my innocent veg pot for dinner! Or I might just have my Uncle Ben's Curry rice time. We shall see!!! Will prob opt for sweetcorn and egg salad for lunch... thinking ahead!

Lunch: Pasta with sweetcorn, mushrooms, leeks, onion, and garlic and herb philly 1/3 Hex A
muller light with 1 mini meringue 1 syn, 2 babybels 2/3 Hex A

Dinner: Uncle Ben's Rice Time Medium Curry 4.5 syns

Snacks: 1 aplen light 3 syns, 1 special K biscuit pack 5 syns, apple


Total syns: 13 syns
 
I don't feel great today. I have that nasty nausea feeling, had it all last night too :( hoping it will fade away throughout the day! Although on the plus side I did hop on the scales this morning and they are currently saying I'm back to the weight that I was before I gained last week! So that's good! I'm hoping it's down to having mainly red days so far this week. I am having EE days this Fri and Sat due to having two meals out! But this time I will choose carefully! Feel quite proud of myself at the moment, someone gave me a mini blueberry muffin and I kindly handed it to my colleague! I know if I eat one I'll eat loads!


Anyway.... today's menu: EE Friday 5th October


Breakfast: 2 ww sausages 1 syn, 2 weetabix Hex B and a ww yogurt

Lunch: smoked salmon and white crab salad, 1 syn of light mayo, 2 babybel Hex A, ww yog

Dinner: A healthy option from the Indian or the Chinese! will work out syns later!

Snacks: Apple, alpen light 3 syns

Syns so far: 5


I'll probably be having an Indian tomorrow night too, a late one in fact! Going to watch a friend in a show and she suggested an Indian afterwards... at 10.30pm! So we'll see if we go or not!

Weekends go so quickly!!!

Happy to report I'm nearly back at the low weight again, minus a few bits of a pound! Back to 153lbs, but I did eat before weighing myself this morning so I could be a little less. But I think red days worked really well for me so I'll be sticking to Red this week.

Moving flats on Friday and I have a Hen Party on Saturday, is it will be a hectic weekend! I'll do an EE day on Sat but I'll be eating afternoon tea so I don't expect a loss for next week!



Today's menu: Red, Mon 8th Oct


Breakfast: Scrambled eggs, tomato sauce 1 syn, porridge with yogurt Hex B

Lunch: Tuna & Salmon salod, light mayo 1 syn, 2 light baby bels Hex A, Muller

Dinner: Either Chilli with BNS chips or Diet Coke Chicken/veg

Snacks: Apple, 2 alpen lights Hex B, turkey, 0% fat greek yog, alpen 3 syns, maltesers 5 syns


Syns so far: 10



I probably won't be able to fit in any gym sessions this week as I'll be packing up the flat!

To add to Friday: Chicken Dhansak with boiled rice and 2 onion bhajis, 1 x chok a blok brownie (too many syns!)


Saturday:

pasta with tuna and pasta sauce 2 syns

Sunday:

bran flakes Hex B & A
Sunday roast out with a choc dessert (not a planned visit!) loads of syns

too many syns!!
 
Evening one of packing complete! It was quite successful although I hate living amongst all the clutter! Oh well only needs to be like this for a few days! It's going to be a very busy week!

Breakfast: 4 pieces of fat trimmed bacon 1 syn ketchup, 2 x weetabix Hex B and 1 muller light

Lunch: Ham and egg salad, 1 syn of light mayo. 2 x babybel light Hex A, muller

Dinner: Chilli with BNS chips

Snacks: 2 x alpen light Hex B, apple, maltesers fun size 5 syns

Good luck with the move. I hate moving house. You never realise how much stuff you have until you have to pack it!
 
Later entry today! Feeling really blah, I think there must be a virus going round school! Scratchy throat and achy limbs... just in time for moving!!

Breakfast: beans on toast Hex B

Lunch: Ham & Egg salad, 2 bably bel light Hex A, 1 muller

Dinner : Ended up having a Chicken Tikka Masale, 1/4 naan and some rice! Needed it after a tough evening packing!

Snacks: was out at a school observing student work so I had 1 viennese whirl! 7 syns. Special K biscuits 5 syns, mini milk 1.5 syns, handful weetaflakes Hex B


Syns for today: no idea!


The amount of packing I'm doing at home is probably working out to a fair bit of exercise!

I've made the decision to go off SW plan for the next 5 or so days. With moving and the hen party I just doubt I'll stick to it very well! I'll still jot down everything that passes my lips but I will expect a gain next week! The diet just won't fit into my life schedule for these few days! But I'll stick to it as much as I can :)

Breakfast: Muller, WW yog, 15g weetaflakes 1/2 Hex B(2 yogs at different times)

Lunch: Pork with 2 slices Wholemeal bread Hex B, muller, cheese Hex A, 1 syn butter

Dinner: No idea yet!

Snacks: Apple, alpen 1/2 Hex B

Syns: 1 so far, will probably get quite high I imagine!


Having a spray tan tonight for my cousins hen party. I've never had one before so I feel quite nervous about the process and the results! Let's just hope 'moving' day does not ruin my tan!!!

Will update what I have to dinner later :)
 
That has to be one of the most stressful weekends I have ever had. What a complete nightmare! Still feeling stressed out now. SO glad I decided not to stick to plan as I really needed comfort food. Stresses from moving, TOTM, hen party (had a full blown cold throughout!).....

On the bright side of that it only says I'm a pound up, so if I try and get back on track today, fingers crossed I'll lose a bit come next week. I still feel so anxious about it all, I'm such a worry wort. I don't know what's wrong with me!

I must have consumed so much crap since Friday..... curry, afternoon tea, Greek meal out, caramel digestives (yum!), choux bun, pizza, sweets....... but I needed it! I could write a whole essay about the weekend, but I won't do that!



Today's menu (back on plan I hope!) green, Mon 15th October:

Breakfast: WW yog, 2 wheetabix Hex B

Lunch: Sandwich Hex B, 2 baby bel light, 1 muller

Dinner: Macaroni cheese

Snacks: Alpen light 3 syns, maltesers 5 syns, ham 3 syns? light choice choc sundae.... 5 or 6 syns??

Total: 17 ish syns????
