Beegee's Green Day Diary

Hey Beeg,

No way are you naughty - look at me , and don't follow-lol

I am gonna try again - :fingerscrossed: I get it right and find my willpower!! Although at least I guess I am trying, and managing to stick with SW for most of the day :)
Bitter taste still here though :-(

Agreed, all looking good !!!! 100syns is great, especially for a half term week, well done for gripping on :) Now strap yourself in for a great week, hope you have a good one!

Thanks girls - it's soooo much easier when I'm in routine! Today has been:

B: Porridge (hexb), yogurt, banana, strawberries

L: Jacket potato, beans, cheese (hexa). Yogurt. Satsuma. Mikado (1)

D: Spaghetti Bolognese

Probably nibble on something else in a bit.

Anyone watching the Brits? I'm so out of touch with music these days I'll probably spend my whole time going 'who'? 'never heard of them' and 'what a blooming racket' like a right old fart!

Ha ha - enjoy the Brits :)

You and me both!! I seem to spend most of my time not knowing who people are lol.
You have had a brill day today. What porridge do you have?

Just Tesco or Asda value oats - a giant bag for 75p!

Today has been:

B: Branflakes (hexb), banana, strawberries, yogurt

L: Savoury rice and veg. Yogurt.

D: Bean and quorn chilli with brown rice, cheese (hexa)

Highlights (2), Alpens (hexb)

So I spent most of the Brits talking to a nice lady about moving my mortgage which was marginally more interesting. Bit of a yawn fest I thought.

At the mo I'm just catching up with stuff on the planner as I'm home alone and I've just watched One Born Every Minute from a couple of weeks ago which was the 'trauma' episode and I'm in bits. Blimey, how scary that was! To lighten the mood I'm now watching Joan Collins on Piers Morgan which is much less stressful. I think Joan is looking pretty good for a girl in her 70's!

Thursday:

B: Porridge (hexb), yogurt, banana, strawberries

L: Pasta & Sauce, lots of extra veg, cheese (hexa). Yogurt.

Snack: Pineapple, yogurt, cake (5), mikado (0.5)

D: Roast butternut squash, couscous with roast veg, salad, feta (hexa) - deeeeeelishus!

Forgot to say, I sts again this week. Bit of a pain, but ultimately fair enough as I had my 'hanging by a thread' week. I just can't get away with it!

Lol Beeg. Stick to it this week for a loss!!

I failed today or rather I chose not to be good and partook in the buffet today!! The staff room was packed so my rice could not really be nuked. So I had a bit of lasagne, some coleslaw, an onion bhaji a spring roll and a few crisps and a few chips - all nice and not OTT!!

Hi Val :wavey:, good to see you - I must go over and check out your WW diary soon. Slap on the wrist for me for not doing it sooner. Hope all is going well x

K - well done on making a decision to hit the buffet but restraining yourself. That's what it's all about hun - maintaining a balance and it sounds as though you did brill!

Good day today so far:

B: Porridge (hexb), yogurt, banana, strawberries. This is my new favourite brekkie since I discovered porridge was actually edible when only made with water.

L: Jacket potato and beans, salad.

Snack: Mugshot. Pineapple.

D: Ooh, it was a goody - Pizza made with WW Wrap (5), mozzarella (1.5x hexa), mushroom, onion, corn, pineapple, red pepper and a few paprika wedges (1 for ketchup). This always seems very naughty but isn't! (specially if you tweak the wrap to be a hexb, not that I would of course ;))

I've been working out that I need to lose about 4 pounds by Easter to hit my current 'lose 7 stone' target. Bit of a stretch I'm thinking, but not entirely impossible. I shouldn't be too far off but then I'll probably lob it all back on over the holidays anyway!

As I've given you random updates on what I've been watching on telly this week I'll be brave and share with you that I'm currently watching one of my christmas presents - a dvd of the Spice Girls in concert at Wembley! Filmed in 1998 - I was there, (sad I know) but I'm really enjoying watching it again. They were really pretty bad but it just didn't matter, I love a bit of girl power - it's great for a friday night!

Had a fairly typical weekend and 85 syns for the week.

Week 98 has kicked off in a screamingly average way:

B: Porridge (hexb), bananas, yogurt, strawberries, blueberries

L: Pasta & sauce, veg, cheese (hexa). Yogurt.

D: Quorn in tomato sauce, roast potatoes, carrots, brocolli, corn.

Fibre Plus (hexb)

Have spent 5 syns nibbling a square of chocolate, 2 mikados (love the nutty ones) and a corner of a cornflake cake I made with my son.

Sounds like a big square of choc if 5 syns??

Lol - I was counting the 5 for the square of choc plus 2 mikado and a nibble of cornflake cake, but I now have a lovely image of me nibbling a giant brick sized square of chocolate and only counting 5 syns for it :D. In my dreams!

Yesterday was:

B: Porridge (hexb), yogurt, banana, berries

L: Savoury rice with extra veg. Cheese (hexa) Yogurt. Satsuma.

Snack: pineapple, chocolate (3)

D: Made a lentil and vegetable curry which was quite nice for one of my efforts. I was proud because I would usually have opened a can of chickpea dahl so instead opened a can of lentils and boiled it up in pasata, curry powder and a few random veg thrown in. Could have been a lot worse and I was glad to have made an effort, all be it minimal.

Wednesday:

B: Shreddies (hexb), yogurt, banana, berries, pineapple

L: Jacket potato with cottage cheese & pineapple, yogurt.

D: Roast veg (peppers, onions, mushrooms), feta (hexa), garlic & basil linguine (really nice! got it in big Asda). This was absolutely gorgeous!

Chocolate (4)
