Their reply was - "[FONT=Candara, Verdana, Arial, Helvetica]Hi, you can use our fibre, fibergel from the chemist might be ok if it only contains fibre and also Senakot or similar in tablets."

I bought Senokot from the shops yesterday figuring it would be fine, and they confirmed it was.

Morning!

busy morning and day ahead. gotta get the girls fed and Tabby to nursery then come home and shower and get ready to go out. Tabby woke up at 6am. ugh. But some how, hubby thinks that having to get up does apply to him as hes having a lie-in. You know, one of those things I havent had in over 3 years? yeah, that. Grrrrr. Last night he said he would take Tabby to nursery for me, but obviously not. Oh well. He will have all day to make it up to me while Im out and he's stuck in with a cold and the girls. ha! lol :p

so today Im going to have my shake before I leave, then ive got my plan for going out today. I hope it doesnt effect my loss this week.

Lo has been up since 5.30am - VERY unusual for him! Hubby brought him in to our room and let LO pull my hair which woke me with a start!
Am now grumpy as I don't function well on little sleep!

I hope you have a lovely day out - I'm sure you'll be fine! I think the odd boost with more cals can trick the body out of starvation mode (if indeed we're in that) - I went well over on cals, but not carbs, and I wouldn't say it's affected me. I am sure you'll be able to pick something that suits your diet - you can even ask for something 'off menu', I did and they made it for me!

Just enjoy and don't worry - I can't see it having any effect :)

Awww, that's a shame!
Going out did me good, it made me realise I can have a social life and still be on this diet!
Can you just go out anyway and leave kiddies with hubby? Have a mooch around the shops, even treat yourself to something, however small, for being so good?!

Today was a bit of a bust. I didnt go out and we had a long nap this afternoon. lol My friend and I have rescheduled for tomorrow. Not the kid-free outting I had hoped for but it will be nice anyway. No idea what the plan is....we're going into town. Thats as far as we've gotten.

i had a shake for breakfast and boiled eggs for lunch. I decided Im not going to bother with porridge next order. Im not prepared to give up my meal pack at night (my dinner) in exchange for the porridge and if i have porridge for breakfast its hard to keep my day the same without going over on carbs. Not worth it. Im also boiled up lots of broccoli and im going to portion it out into little bags, g each. That way i dont have to bother at night when Im making hubbys meal and tabbys (different) meal. One less thing on the go. Dunno why its taken me almost 2 weeks to figure that out :p haha

Hope everyone has had a good day. Its been freezing and very gloomy out today, up here. Yuck. I really am ready for more continuous sunshine (and some temps up in the double digits would be good, too). Ugh. lol
 
Im confused Bee, not sure if its me beimg thick lol, why would you go over on carbs if ur sticking to plan, have I missed something??xxx:D

You don't like Oatmeal do you? That's got the same amount of carbs as a shake. Sweet Porridge has about 4g's more.
I've not gone over on carbs, but I have gone over 60g, which is more than I really want! Also managed to go 18 cals over - just on packs today. Think I'm better off having eggs or chicken!!

I'm going to do that, but need to go out to buy more veggies - didn't realise until I went in the fridge tonight how low I am!

Had a nice walk this afternoon, lovely and sunny but SO cold! Yep, it's time we got some warmer weather, I'm fed up of being cold now!

If you use the planner, Peaches, you can see that certain combinations of packs send you over in carbs and/or cals. sweet porridge for breakfast, a shake for lunch, a meal pack and 200g veg allowance for dinner and a bar for snack = too many carbs. I didnt know it was possible until i started using the planner! now im very careful which packs i put together for a day. xx

Morning! WI tomorrow!

My friend and I rescheduled for today. so Ive taken Tabby to nursery and will get her at 11. Then we'll head out with friend. I had to break down and tell her because she was asking about lunch. I dont mind so much telling her because I know she will keep it to herself and she does WW because she was very over weight herself. So she understands a bit more. Anyway, she just said that we could go to nandos or we could skip lunch altogether. So we'll see how we feel.

Just in case, I weighed myself today and Im down 2lbs for the week. Which is fine. At least if we do eat lunch and the scales say I put on, I will know what I was before. lol Im still going to WI tomorrow and measure. I cant complain either way because Im in a pair of jeans that i havent been able to wear since before i got pregnant with Zoe. (Well, I wore then up til I was 3 months along lol) So about 16 months. Woo! It feels fab!

So off to have my shake and then tidy up before I go get Tabby.

It's good you've told her - I'm sure she'll keep it a secret as she's done similar herself, and now you don't have to make excuses. Brilliant! :)

Whoop! Brilliant! Well done! It may not seem much, but remember those pics on my page! AND, I only lost 1lb this week, but lose 10" all over!! (Still got to look in to that!).

Just got back. I had a grilled chicken breast...I doubt it was even a full 100g but ive listed it as that on the planner. I had that on a bed of mixed salad leaves...prob 100g of that, tops. It was perfect and tasty and filling. I still am listed as deep ketosis for the day and only went over on cals by 4 lol. And I still get to have my dinner (broccoli and spicy spag) and my dark trufa bar later! Im hoping it wont negatively affect my WI tomorrow. We will have to wait and see.

We had a nice day and I even happily went into Krispy Kreme and Tabby chose a donut and I got one for the hubs. I wasnt even bothered. Its madness, really. 3 week ago i woulda had 2....now I couldnt care less, really. lol

Im off to get some water down. Thats the only thing I havent done today was drink enough water, but there is still time. Ive had about a litre and a half.
