Beelishy's VLCD Weight Loss Adventure!!

Right...we've had a nap (or rather, the girls slept...my poor sicky girls) and I read on my phone in bed with them. Ive had my chili and a porridge and 2 eggs today. I need to get going with my water. Spag bol for dinner.

And of course, now that the girls are up...Im sitting here yawning.
 
Thanks for the crisp recipe sillymoo! I read another comment about BMI and perfect' weight- I was told I could be 7stone 7lb and be fine! That was the Dr's helpful advice. OMGoodness... only 13 stones to go then Dr! Fab weight loss so far Beelishy xx
 
Ooh how much do I want a chicken kebab now!! No no no, I want to see the 12's next weigh in. Glad you were able to get back on track afterwards xx
 
I dont have a problem getting back on after having a chicken kebab, usually. Im not sure why. probably because NORMALLY. I just have a small amount of chicken and salad. No chips. No Pitta. And I just have that in lieu of a pack or evening meal or whatever. And...it fills me and completely satisfies both the craving for normal food..and for something a "bit naughty". So once I have that..I just feel...stuffed and satisfied. And as I had such a great loss, completely unexpected, this morning it just motivated me to keep going. lol. I had every intention (before the kebab even arrived) of starting the holiday/festive season today and going out to get stuff to make some cookies with the girls and then eating those cookies...and putting on christmas music...etc. But I decided to hold off a bit longer. Im going to get through the next couple of days til Thanksgiving and see how I go.

The one this that this diet has empowered me with is the complete knowledge and faith that...even if i did have the entire month of Dec off...I could get back on it in january and there is no doubt that it works and I would lose the rest of my weight. It works. And I CAN do it. The issue was more whether or not I want to "waste time" as it were. :)
 
Totally agree, I wasted too much time jumping on and off Cambridge when I did it. It was half hearted but this time I am fully there x

Yes definitely keep your goal as it is I reckon.
It's better to smash a goalpost that you set in place then constantly try to achieve one that keeps moving.

It makes sense -- maybe doing something like calorie counting just to keep from regaining.

nothing much planned today. i had the nursery nurse based at my gp's office ring to make an appointment for tabitha's pre-school evaluation. !!!!! My baby....is going to school....next year! NOOOOOO. haha! So she's coming on the 23rd! Cutting it fine, eh? lol its ok though. Hopefully the festive appearance of the house will mean i have to clean less for her arrival. :p hahaha

Just excited about Thanksgiving and having hubby home. I only started asking him to switch his days off to be home on Thanksgiving LAST year. And I dont know why it never occurred to me before then! It makes it SO much more normal (ish!)...so much better :)

And also our tree being delivered on Saturday.

Chili
Spag bol
vanilla shake (with a dash of cinnamon...mmmmm)
2 eggs

coffee, water

I just had an egg and a babybel (the babybel wasnt on plan for today. i forgot. see, this is why i write things down and should really consult MFP for my food list for the day before i just go shoving things down my throat. lol. Oh well. Its not the end of the world by any means. haha

having a coffee and then water and then a shake. but im freezing. like. freeeeeezing. lol. and i blend mine with ice. so i will be even more freezing after that. ive just put the heating up a bit more! brrrrr!

The calcium is good. I blend mine with ice, too. Makes them lovely and thick, but chills me to the core.
 
Totally. Im dreading it actually. tastest divine but im already SO cold. lol. I should probably get going as ive only had 1 pack today and i have 2 to go...its 3pm. I dont like to eat past 7pm, at the latest.

at least im not hungry, i guess. lol

but im so cold! lol as soon as my girls wake up, i will go whizz it up and get it down. And then put on about 20 layers of clothes/socks/hoodies on :D

I forgot to make more ice after having a shake yesterday. I'll make more now. I think I'll just have oatmeal this morning.

I'm off to RAF Lakenheath. We call it "going to America" because it's a much bigger base and has so much more than our little one.

Didnt bother getting weighed today. Yesterday was a train wreck of carb overload-ness but I dont care because 2 reasons - first, thats kinda the point. to overindulge and enjoy it thoroughly for 2 days and Secondly, it has taught me that i no longer like carbs as much as before. i actually felt a bit..bleh. this morning, i woke up craving....EGGS. hahaha. Insane, eh?! Also, i have realised that this is not the way one should eat on an everyday basis. nor would i want to anymore. i am enjoying today and looking forward to the deliciousness of dinner tonight but im also very much looking forward to gettin back on it tomorrow and and continuing on this journey :D

How is everyone getting on?

I'm binge watching "Mad Men" with my DH. We'll go pick up our DD after Cooking Club today. Then, we'll come home and make dinner or go out.
 
That's really good that you feel that way about eating now, I'm sure a lot of people have been in the same position and not felt the will to get back on track afterwards. Good on you xx
