Bev - Round 2

Yeah have a quiet word ... aka back em into a corner & bounce shuttle cocks of their head!!! :rotflmao:

Try cricket balls, it will have more effect than a shuttle cock.....lol.

Shame the individual is ruining it for you though Bev.

There's always one isn't there? Or in this case 2!! I guess you can only vote with your feet unless there's any way you can all ignore them until they take the hint and shape up or move on! Hope you get the pleasure back soon! xx

Last night was a good night at badminton. There weren't so many there and we had a good laugh too. There was a match on last night too, a team that me and another lady are usually in the team for, but we weren't asked to play. I think we must have both upset someone up there. They played a woman that has only just joined the club and for someone to be put straight into a top team isn't usually done. I have told them that I wont be playing in any teams next season too. Glad about that. I will then (hopefully) just be able to go along to club nights and enjoy playing without the pressure of playing matches.

Food hasn't been great the last few days, totm coming and I've been eating way too much. Will knuckle down after the weekend and have better days next week.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Sod the team Bev.....bet you feel better for dropping them.

Have a good weekend, I am back to work tomorrow, so no treats for me.

Aww shame about the team Bev but atleast you will enjoy club days more :D And after all, exercise is about enjoying it xxx

Bev, you seem to be back in control. Great job! Glad you enjoyed the badminton despite the hassle with a couple of the members. There is always something to spoil the fun isn't there!

Aye ... if one MUST exercise ;) then you HAVE to enjoy it! Otherwise there really IS no point. I think you've made the right decision re the team! xx

Had a nice relaxing weekend and now back to work (yet again). Sometimes it feels as though you never leave doesn't it?

No badminton this week cos it's half term so an extra session at the gym instead. Decided to have a good day today. Opened my jar of extra strong marmite yesterday so will be having some more of that later. It's very nice but just tastes as though you have a lot of ordinary marmite instead. I know half of the people reading this will be like uurrgh marmite but the other half of you will understand.

I am off to physio later, it's been about a month but it is slowly getting better. Not sure what else they can do for me really but I will be good and do as they tell me.

I'm an UURRRRGHHH! Sorry - but glad you ladies enjoy! xx

No way marmite uurrrgh!!
But, marmite cheese and were talking ;)

No, could not stomach marmite at all. Now, Marys idea of oxo or bovril is much more appealing.
Good luck for a good week Bev. Hope Physio is good for you.

Love marmite on large white doorsteps toasted. Lovely.

Physio was OK yesterday. I am now at the stage of trying to strengthen the tendons cos she thinks they are repairing nicely. Don't need to go back for another 5 weeks! Great.

Off to gym after work then home for shower, tea and footie on the tv. Nice relaxing evening once home.

Glad its repairing well Bev :)
Enjoy the gym tonight but enjoy the relaxing more! hehe x

That's good news from your Physio. You will have to be patient and keep up with the exercises. My friend who had a similar injury said it took nine months before she felt fully back in shape. So it might just take a bit if time. Fingers crossed you heal quickly.

As you pointed out Mary I really do love my footie. Hubby is very pleased about that too. Luckily we both support the same team. Another big game on tonight so fingers crossed we do OK!

Gym was good last night. Did all that I planned and a little more. Wasn't so busy either which was much better. Night off tonight and back again on Thursday night.

Do you understand the offside rule Bev? I admit that I don't even have a clue but men always seem to say that we don't understand it.....whatever it is:confused:
