I need some advice peeps....

I have just finished my foundation degree in business, i am now learning to drive as i cant apply for the job i want without the ability to drive =)

I have my level 3 and 4 in childcare have worked my way up in a variety of roles in Nurseries and then as a part time nanny while gaining my degree, i want to be a family support worker eventually but cannot do that until i can drive. I can only work part time for the next few months for personal reasons so am looking for another nannying job.

Advice needed, would you take a job that is less than you usually charge and random hours but is only a mile away and doesn't require a license (so i can take it) or would you hold out for something more set hour wise and more money but not sure how long it will take for that to come up?? x

I'm 5ft 1 (a little shorty hehe) I was 11stone 4lb when I started slimming world, I am now just less than 10stone after getting down to 8st something and gaining it back! Xx

Thank you lovely. I'm just trying to lose a little more & tone up. It sounds crazy but my motivation is hard to maintain now that I've lost most of my excess weight.
Anyway, as far as advice goes about the job, I'd say go for the job that's a mike away, and when you've passed your test you can apply for the better job. I was once told "you're more likely to get a job when you already have one" I guess it's because you look more employable? Xxx

That is very true, i am just worried as it is only ten to fifteen hours a week and only £7 an hour so i wouldn't be earning very much at all x

When i nannyed before i had three jobs so it was more hours (24 hour) and they all fit around my college hours (20 hours), if i take this one it is all random hours so i would be unable to take any others which would limit me =(

I will do tonight, he is being really supportive of the situation and is happy to pay more and we will work it out after but i don't want to put pressure on him, i really want a job just wanted more like twenty hours and a higher rate. Think i will meet up with them and discuss to work out the exact monthly wage and then see what that would cover outgoings wise x

Hope your mouth is feeling a little better today and the antibiotics are working. You can sort out your STS when that is better.
I also think I might take the job near to you and look for another one that would fit in around it and your personal life. Do you get any money like Benefits you would lose if you took it?

Thank you my lovely that is what I thought, hopefully next WI will be better, although his sister bought GF toffee cake slices with her so thought it was rude not to have one, it was only 162 cal so that's not too bad

We have our own home (mortgage) and we don't get any benefits so I won't lose anything by taking the job so I have contacted her to discuss the monthly pay and hours in more detail

His sister bought us GF toffee cake slices around which was very sweet of her =)

I cooked us all sausages with roasted carrot, swede, parsnip and onion and vegetables for dinner, it was really tasty and she said she enjoyed it =)

Oh my gosh i am absolutely shattered and may have just done too much too quick considering i am not feeling great. Just completed a two mile Leslie walk and then day three of the thirty day shred, feeling very tired now x

Afternoon all,

This morning went really well, she is really nice and worked out the monthly pay check and it is more than i thought as i can do some additional cleaning hours that would be good =)

I walked to town after and bought some dinner for tonight and a new pair of jeans that fit as my current ones all keep trying to fall down

I have spent the last hour pulling everything out of my cupboards in the kitchen to do a deep clean, still have another hour to go but haven't eaten anything yet today so going to have some soup

Glad things went well today and the money is sorted out

It is great when your clothes don't fit but it also expensive I bought 2 pairs of Jeans and 3 tops on Sunday and will have to buy another pair as I can't just have 2 pairs. Got the sewing machine out but gave up on most of my clothes and they are now in a box in the loft - was going to dump them but changed my mind, gave my friend 2 pairs of jeans I have never worn. Bought them before we went back to Spain and now they are miles too big. I bought a beautiful sweater which I though I would get away with but the sleeves are miles too long and the bottom baggy but will wear that indoors or under a big coat in Winter..
When we get back to Spain in September will have to do it all again.

I know it can be expensive, I still have my old clothes and am starting to fit back into them but I am in between at the moment and if I get this job then I need a pair I can feel comfy in and won't fall down when I am running around doing everything
