Blades4life Slimming World Food Diary - Good/Bad I will report lol

Peppered steak with potatoes and zingy salsa

Serves 4

500g baby new potatoes. scrubbed & sliced
4 fillet steaks - all visible fat removed
Frylight
Small handful of parsley to garnish
Green beans & cherry tomatoes to serve (although I used cabbage and leeks lol)

For the salsa
1 small red onion, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, deseeded & finely chopped
1 red chilli, deseeded & finely chopped
1 red & 1 yellow pepper, deseeded & finely chopped
Small handful of coriander
1/2 tsp hot chilli powder
Juice of 2 limes
Salt


1. Boil the potatoes for 15 minutes, or until tender. Drain & set aside.
2. Fry steaks over a high heat for 2-3 minutes each side or more if you want more well done.
3. Put all the salsa ingredients in a bowl, add a little salt and set aside.
4. Spray frying pan with frylight and place over a medium heat. Cook the potatoes for 2 mins on each side. Remove from the heat and sprinkle with parsley.
5. Serve the steaks topped with salsa, with the sautéed potatoes and beans, veg.
 
Had a bit of the runs this morning but for rest of day I just felt tired and had stomach ache :( Still eaten as normal but had some bad cramps because of it :(

Here is todays food...

Breakfast - 2 slices of 400g wholemeal bread (hexb) with 2 tsps. chocolate spread (3 syns)

Lunch - Veg soup, toffee mullerlight yoghurt

Tea - Peppered steak with potatoes & zingy salsa (1 syn for salad cream)

Drinks - Tea (milk hexa), irish cream beanies coffee, lemon & lime sugar free pop, water

Snacks - pear

Going to prepare my fruit salad for tomorrows breakfast :D

Me too xx plan for tomorrow is to drink plenty of water to flush whatever it is, out xx
 
Well and this probably TMI but eventually had a poo today (still on sloppy side but im on the mend lol). Never have I been so excited about going to loo for a poo lol. So after sharing that with you all here is todays food although may have cocked up and told people on here and Facebook that I have indeed found some free biscuits. I put in the per biscuit info and it came up free on EE but when I did the per 100g it came up 2 syns so a tad confused :(

Anyhoo here is todays food lol

Breakfast - 25g Tesco choco snaps (5 syns) with semi skimmed milk (hexa)

Lunch - 2 slices of 400g wholemeal toast (hexb) with 2 tsps. utterly butterly (2 syns)

Tea - Chinese style pork steaks with green beans, peas & SW chips

Snacks - pear, 1 sugar free gullon biscuit (2 syns or free lol)

Drinks - tea (milk from hexa)
 
Oh I know how you feel re ablushions. My TOTM really effects me

Can't help you on that one re biscuits

Well had a sneaky peak at home (i shouldnt i know) and it says i have maintained which if i have im a bit miffed but beginning of week was a write off xx
 
Well as expected had a maintain but after a bad start to week i know its that what caused it xx
Have decided to photograph the food i eat from now on so when i do have a bad day i can flick through my diary and see all the yummy food ive eaten to get me where i am x
So todays food was...

Breakfast - 2 alpen light bars

Lunch - butternut squash soup

Snacks - 2 sugar free cookies (4 syns), 40g reduced fat cheese (hexa)

Drinks - tea (0.5 syn for skimmed milk), coffee, water, no added sugar squash, options belgium choc brownie (2.5 syns)

Total syns - 7

Will not be photographing my breakfast and snacks as thats just too tedious lol xx
 
a maintain is good , seeing as you know why too :)
That soup looks a lovely colour!....can almost 'taste' it :D

Its lovely and creamy despite no pototoes or cream in it xx
 
Definitely...You'll do it! I've got 3.4lbs until I see 10st 13lbs. I'm hoping to be there for February, I'm keeping my weekly target to 1/2lb a week so that it's manageable for me :)

Good way to do it xx really need to clean house but so cant be bothered x
