Ummm haven't you been the incredible disappearing woman since Christmas though? Can't quite remember where you were then but are you not down more than 2 stone since then? Uniform should deffo fit a bit better now. And glad to hear you got your op date and it's close and then you'll be on the mend. Enjoy your Sunday hun. @D

Thanks bubble yea I'm going to make sure I'm fully recovered before I go back to 12 hour days at work ,
I've been for a walk but OH working now , just me and the tele and minis off course :)

Sorry missed you Hun , times flown today , didn't have pineapple in the end , had a bit of salad to use up so had that bout 6.30 with a bit of chicken, Been thinking a lot bout my operation , getting back to work , I'm feeling quite nervous about going back, i think the main reason is with moving premises while I've been off things have obviously changed , as to how they do day to day tasks now Sent from my iPhone using MiniMins

I know il get used to it but it is making me feel anxious , whether feeling a bit low and worrying bout my op has anything to do with it , I feel like my head is all over the place , I'm doubting myself ,

I suppose after being off for well it will be 5 month makes you feel kinda out of the loop , I'm expecting to be back at work beginning of June, I think about going back to work and I'm yes I can't wait to be mixing with ppl again and taking control back, but then self doubt creeps in and I get nervous ,
My staff have been texting me saying they miss me they can't wait for me to go back , and when I rung and said about my op date and expected return it was my assistant manager I spoke to and she was really happy said everyone will be thrilled to have me back,
Although whether that's due to the fact there has been a manager from another branch covering days off etc and she's been horrible apparently , might have something to do with it, lol

Oh I don't know , I'm probably sounding stupid and should just pull myself together ,

Everyone I know who's had a good time off work sick always find it daunting coming back to work. It is lovely to hear your colleagues text you and are looking forward to seeing you. Maybe you could pop in and see them & the new office just before your op? Have a cuppa & chat see everyone then when your fully recovered it might feel less daunting for you? Just an idea as my friends said it helped them. X
 
Oh thanks cookie , it's good to know I'm not being stupid feeling like this,
I have been to the new premises the day I had my MRI scan I went in afterwards, they were still merchandising so wasn't trading but I was shown round , it is a lot better than our old unit , but I'm a creature of habit I panic at change,
I won't be that way again now I'm not going back to Blackpool till the night before my op, I'm meeting my bruv in law on his way home from work ,
I'm just going to have to embrace change it all stems from confidence tho doesn't it ,
But then il get the first day over with and wonder what I was panicking about ,

Just trying to catch up on diaries because of being AWOL last night lol. Im sure like you said once you get the first day over with back at work you will feel like you have never been away. Your first day will be spent catching up on everything thats happened and time will fly. x
