We had a sort of health roadshow at work and WW rep was there so I listened and pocked up their leaflets and had a read and a chat, but couldn't get past the need for weightng and the reliance on WW products and ready meals etc. The idea that there doesn't seem to be a diff between white and wholegrain in their eyes was just too weird for me to get my head round. I'm same as you if I'm trying to eat my way slim I'm using SW methods. I went to a ww meeting today its free to join and free first class so I thought why not go along and see what it's all about , and get the starter pack it's another option to try maybe for a couple of weeks , Well I don't think it's really for me it's not floated my boat so to speak , portions are really restricted and almost everything is pointed everything needs weighing I can't be fafing about doing that , so I think I'm a sw baby through and through , and it's helped me want to get back on track in a strange sort of way,

Yep that's exactly it , I do reach for the rubbish and then get mad for doing so,

might be an idea, sounds like you dont have a lot for breakfast either, do you have any cereals? ie oats or grains? they will fill you up as well, i have 30g bitesize shreddies with strawberry and banana and that does me till lunchtime
They have their place when you're stuck for time and inclination, but not all the time.I know I find it strange , and I don't want to be having micro ready meals every night ,
I don't do breakie either cos of meds that have to be taken at a set time and on an empty tum which must stay empty for a further hour. But like you I try to eat something to kick start the metabolism when I get to work abd as soon as the hour is up. Have you tried magic porridge as an option to take to work for breakkie.I usually have a banana wen I get to work , yea I need to think before a reach , ive just had a few bad days and it sent me off track I know I can do it , I've lost 7 stone since last July but struggled since Xmas not fully committed to plan , I need to re focus myself think re read books get it all fresh again I think I'd come a little complacent , will have a look at cereals but can't really face anything first thing ,

There's a few of on a 100% challenge ATM do you want to join us. Im astounded by how much extra motivation it has given me this past week, cos I've been like you and lacked focus since christmas. Might be worth giving it a go.

It's perfect for people like me who are not good with mornings. You just take a HEb (35g) of porridge oats and pop it in a sealable pot add a mullerlight of your choice. stir, add lid, pop in fridge till ready to take it to work. You can have it as is or mix in berries or banana as you wish. The muller for me means I don't need to add sweetener either but thats personal pref obv.
