Hi cas3...
The 1st pump I got was this one...
Nuby Natural Touch Rhythm Electric Breast Pump - Boots I got it on my way home from the hospital and then burst into tears when I tried it as it had no suction (although when I read up folks with sensitive boobs seemed to get on with it fine - I obviously have badoobies with the sensitivity of a brick ) - so we took it back to boots and now I have this one...
Philips AVENT Single Electronic Breast Pump - Boots -(ooh and its in the sale now )which I love -although it comes with a rubber shield that is supposed to stimulate the whole nipple area -but again its far too gentle for me.. I have tried it but Im much quicker with the hard plastic shell :giggle:. It does make a bit of noise but nothing major-in fact Charlie now starts making smacking noise with his lips when he hears it as he knows it means badooby milk,
Well done on the loss , Im 17lbs down since having Charlie too - hopefuly it will keep on coming down -especially if Charlie keeps on eating as he is... he is getting to be a serious little guzzle guts -Im sure Hollie will soon start gaining weight -Charlie lost 9oz the 1st week and then gained 13.5oz the 2nd week so he is slightly over his birth weight -and I have found that he has no problem switching from boob to bottle either -even though it seemed to be what the midwives were most concerned about , I was just concerned with getting my milk down him one way or another,,,
