Bren's Diary - The journey begins, again!

Well my day off has been half productive! Got some more school work which I HAVE TO GET FINISHED, so perhaps no gym......

I also had to eat lunch out today as my laptop caused me problems this morning and threw most of my plans for the day out the window......

So I am permitted to have cheese and vege for lunch, but the cafe I was at wouldn't change their menu? I was baffled... anyways, I got a spinach/ricotta and fetta roll (I ate around all the pastry) and salad. A good decision and a strong one for me.

Water so far has been okay...about 2.4ltrs and it's 4.40pm. I think another 3 glasses for the day and that's it.

Thanks darl.

Good thing is Cohen's recommends no or very very limited exercise with his program so that the food corrects the metabolism. Then when you refeed you start the exercise.

Dinner will be fish and vege, no carb vege though, I might have to deviate a little due to lack of planning with my vegetable purchasing this arvo.....

Not to worry this fab, positive feeling and my excellent day should hopefully make for a great morning when I choose what to wear to work!!!!! yay

Can I really be on the way to thinness....again!!!

Yes babes you are on youor way to thinness again!!

You & me both!! Well done on your first day... I plan to be celebrating a great first day too... off to have tuna, celery & cucumber for my lunch. xx

Yum, you know you can have a tsp of fat free mayo a day with that!

I didn't eat all the fruit allowance today and drank about 2.6ish ltrs of water, 2 camommile teas and a green tea.

When shall we measure/weigh in?

Yay I am going to do it and keep it off this time!!!!!! yay.

My plan is 4/5 weeks of the rapid part and then refeed as best as I can when I go back to Perth for a 2 week holiday with family! Might only get 1 week of perfect refeed in. My refeed plan is 3weeks.

Get online at that time or perhaps read a mag? Do a puzzle or game with the kids? Ironing? Hope I'm helping!!!

Not sure I will measure for sure in the morning.... (I dont want to know).... as I did it very half arsed the other day as I didn't want to be guttered! I think it said 83cm around the waist and I want 71 ultimately but will settle for 75cm in about 5 weeks? I think this should make a loss of 4 or 5 kilos this is ____ lbs(pounds - is this correct?)

Well I measured my waist this morning.... and yes it was better not knowing! I am back up to 84cm and not happy about this number.

Never mind, I wont let it deter me from today and being focused! I will have to buy my lunch today as I spent until 11.30pm marking...... So egg and salad from the canteen it is. I wont be able to weigh my portions either but the salad tub is of medium size and mostly of lettuce, so i'm not too worried.

It looks like Linz my measure in day will be Thursday mornings.

Off to start the water.

Abz, your are doing really fantastic.... a little envious actually!

Linz thanks for the support. I am going to make a new ticker now and lets see if I can get to 81 or 82 for next Thursday.

It's offically the weekend for me now as I dont work tomorrow, yay! But this means a tough few days ahead, as we know I'm usually crap during the weekends.

Today, I have to admit got busy at school and nearly passed out with massive 20 min migrane from lack of water... at this point I had only had 800ml for the day. Currently I've had about 2.3ltrs and 2 green tea (mugs).

I did deviate today, and snuck in 6 choc freckles!!! I know but not getting worried about anything and I had to buy lunch today and there was 5 olives and some avocado in my egg salad...

Linz how's things for you today and how did yesterday afternoon go?

I'm back in the saddle and think I only cheated because I was actually thirsty and a bit bummed about the 84 cm waist.

I've worked it out, I need to loose 18lbs (pounds) and this equates to 8 kilos!!!

I measured my waist today and I've jumped back up to 84cm's I'm aiming ultimately for 71cm but in the short term (4/5 weeks time) for 75 or 76!

Firstly 18Ibs is doable!! Secondly don't worry about your waist size - if you want it bad enough you can do it. It's great to have an intermediate goal!

Well this morning I have taken a big plunge... I've done all my measurements, I'm now completely gutted girls.

My measurements say I am nearly back to wear I started this time last year. I honestly feel very low and like hiding away.

This morning I am going to go have a shower now and go to the gym and then try and write a job application that is due next week.

I have written also my planned food for the day and I know I need to do this diet 100% to get results, not only fast but for my mental health. I really find it hard not having a food counsellor to talk to every week as this made me acccountable and I was able to stick to things much better.

I know it isn't the same, but come here and vent. You need a release and it's better to release amongst those who understand what you're going through.

You know what you need to do and that is always the first step. Now you just have to apply yourself. Easier said than done, but thats the crux of it.

I hope you're hayfever has subsided. .. how many hours ahead are you?

p.s - well done on getting to the gym!
