Bren's Diary - The journey begins, again!

you bring up a good point daisy, i always thought that when i got to within my healthy bmi, i would be perfectly thin and exactly how i want to be. but now i've realised there's a difference between a healthy bmi and looking how you want to look. but for now, haha, i'm going for healthy first. well done on getting so far! :) x
Phew i thought i might be a bit abnormal, nice to know i'm not alone in finding that! Thanks and good luck in your journey

Sorry for hijacking your diary Bren!!:D

Hi Bren,

How are you? :wavey:

Hi ya,

Very sorry for having abandoned so suddenly. What a busy, stressful and eventful few weeks. I've got visitors over the next 2 weeks and prior to this my birthday and getting our new apartment ready for family.

Overall still hanging in there and I've had some really low points, but feel that they had to happen. I promise to be back in a week or so full time and I feel positive I will be in a better place. Once again a big thanks for all your messages and missing everyone dearly. Just not in the right place with time and my mind!

Love you all and looking forward to catching up.

Ladies, i feel that i am almost ready to take control of things. Last visitors this weekend and all should be back to normal.... well at least some form of!

Also got the flu......

First aim tomorrow is to drink the 3 ltr of water again and take the food as it comes (strict and healthy I hope)..

Love you all and missed everyone.

Bren! Welcome back! Hope you're ok, what with the flu and all, you poor thing. xxx

Thanks peeps!

Drunk the 3ltrs today yay!!! Followed Cohen's right up until dinner and had some yoghurt and museli for dinner as I had to pick friends up from the airport and by the time we got home it was too late to be cooking.

Unfortunately I can only follow my diet during the day as we are entertaining, (so a few wines), this weekend and back to everything on Monday and Tuesday. Aiming for following the diet all day but having a free dinner, we will see how it goes.

All snotted up at the moment though with the flu!

How has everyone been?

hellooooo. well i got under the 14st barrier 2 weeks ago only to gain around 3 lbs in one week!!! so i've spent the last week trying to rectify my naughtiness. looks like i may have got back under, but we wont know till weigh in tomorrow.

can't wait till monday, as im off on holiday for 4 weeks!! woop de doooo :)

Yeh I looooove holidays!
Me I feel bigger than 3 weeks ago and I'm not going to measure until at least a week of normality and then I really really really really really am going to try my hard core plan again. It was this time last year I began and lost 13 kilos over 2.5 months and did the refeeding (it was here when I got sick and had to take steroids), only to have some medication take it away. Then 2 weeks later was Xmas, house hunting on the other side of OZ, resigning from my job, flying over to Melbourne for a job interview and final house inspection, Thailand and now I've spent the past 4 months settling into my new house. I fly home in 6 weeks to perth and would really like to be svelte again!

Lets have a new thought that good food is our medicine and we are allergic to anything else other than what our eating plan says!

my my you HAVE been busy! haha i like you're thinking. good food IS our medicine :) x

Thanks Elle.

Well the visitors have left and gone to a hotel, as planned, for the remainder of their stay in Melbourne. I'm finally looking forward to getting back into a routine and feeling in control.

This morning was very depressing for me as I couldn't fit into anything that I wanted to wear, feeling very fat and uncomfortable about myself. In about 6 week I think or maybe 5 i am going back to Perth for 2 weeks, 1 of which is work and I would like to follow my Cohen's program for 4 weeks and re feed for nearly 2 weeks. I cannot full start until Wednesday but I'm not building it up as I find if I put too much pressure on I buckle.

I'll keep you all posted but generally trying to do it 95% or 100%. Trouble is it's winter here and freezing cold, so drinking 3 ltrs of water will be the mission ahead!

positive about this new start

Hi all,

This morning was much better with getting dressed. I have been called into work though on my day off and will have to purchase something from the canteen today. This is where being a vegetarian cames in handy as there is only healthy choices and I dont like chocolate and bread. (My only downfall is lack of water, exercise and biscuits and wine as of late)

Not sure what day to make my measure in day but I think I need to loose about 8cm off my waist in 5 weeks.

hi bren, hows it going? remember me? lol its all good for me although strugerling to loose the weight after not going to the gym but at least im not gaining.

Hey Georgie,

Your ticker says your doing really well!!

Today is offically the beginning of 100%. It's morning now and I've eaten breakfast and just about to do some work for school (I'm a teacher) and then off to the Laundry Mat and the shops for my groceries. I have been pretty good the past 2 days, although I have snuck in about 3 biscuits..... and I really need to up the water, as I've only managed about 2 ltrs a day over the last couple of days.

I'm going to aim back for 3 or 4 sessions a week at the gym as of this afternoon. Wish me luck.

Bren
What eating plan are you following?
