How's your day going, mine not so good, eating is okay but having a sad day with everything, probably hormonal as I have my period but not sure.....

well i have been hormonal and paranoid for days. and i'm feeling all antsy and stressed even though things will sort themselves out. i'm usually so chilled... so yeah. blaming the diet. roll on next week when hopefully i'll be back in the zone. i'm back thinking about food all the time right now. have had 1.5litres so far today though so the water drinking is going better...

Well girls, what a week!

I've spent most of my holidays painting and organising my house for visitors after my birthday, only to get a letter from the neighbour below me that she has a serious problem with mould growing on her walls and she had a plumber come out today to inspect......

Plumber said it could it moisture in the wall cavity due to either a shift in the building, my bath not being waterproofed properly or the drainage from the roof....


Not happy as it's stressing me out. However absolute no damage to my apartment???? But mouldy on her floor up and ceiling down right above my ensuite and rear balcony/courtyard.

I'm hoping it is structural as this means that the builder will have to come back and fix it otherwise if it is coming from my apartment I may have to have the bathroom completely redone..... Upset, STRESSED and not happy.

I didn't measure this week as I was not feeling confident. I'm exercising and have managed to just yesterday and today to manage the hunger and not go to bed feeling full and over eaten. Going on a road trip for the anniversary this weekend but aim to go to the gym all week in the lead up. Back at school tomorrow and hoping to get back into a routine and guzzle the water.

Overall having some low points given the above. However I have bought a new dress to wear for my birthday.

Hopefully I'll find time to post tomorrow and thanks everyone for the checking in. Just finding things busy and overwhelming but trying to eat sensibly and hoping things will sort themselves out both diet and house wise.

Hey Bren,

How annoying!! I hope your bathroom turmoil sorts itself out :) Just concentrate on having an excellent time on your road trip this weekend. Regardless of what you say, you've been working hard, so you deserve to have a good time with you hubby :) I bet that new dress looks lovely too. Keep being positive Bren, you'll get where you want to be :) xxx
 
aw bren you poor thing. i wondered why you hadn't been about!!

you are doing fabulously and you are going to look absolutely amazing, both at the weekend and on your birthday. post a pic of the new dress!!

Hi girls, thanks.

Feeling in control I suppose with the eating, havent eaten bad things just having milk in some of my coffee's and usually a 144cal protein bar in the afternoon and extra fruit and crackers.

Exercise is good though I've been going to the gym about 5 times a week. But I dont have that thin feeling that I had the other week when I was really good. One thing I have been lazy with is the water. I've only drunk about 2 litres or less on some days in the past 4 days.

It's now 2.30 and I have only managed about a litre. Partly because I'm no where near a water cooler....

Trying to stay positive and still going to keep going.

Thanks again. Dont ask about the bathroom it's a waiting game. Owner below has to chase the builder and get him to come out and investigate and explain why this is happening? Although he is a very dodgy person and will probably deny it's his problem.
 
aw bren. sounds like you are still going through it. get glugging that water and that skinny feeling will follow no problem :)

TA Abz,

Onto green teas at the moment. I know your not suppose to count them as your water intake but I'm going to start fresh tomorrow. I've had 5 green teas today and 1.1 litres of water.....

Food wise I'm managing fine and not going to bed feeling over full and bloated. So that's something.

Really going to try with the water tomorrow. I have been to the gym and I'm doing Yoga after work tomorrow also.

You look like your about where you want should be for healthy weight range. Are you going to try and reach 19.6 for your BMI? How tall are you?

Thanks, i'm getting there and 19.6 would DEF be the lowest that i am aiming for, but it's still in the healthy range for my height - 5ft 6 :)
Some people just wear 10 stone better that i do, i still have a big belly and thighs that rub etc so i'm gonna keep going until i feel comfortable
How are you feeling with your body image and stuff atm, have a good day diet wise?

you bring up a good point daisy, i always thought that when i got to within my healthy bmi, i would be perfectly thin and exactly how i want to be. but now i've realised there's a difference between a healthy bmi and looking how you want to look. but for now, haha, i'm going for healthy first. well done on getting so far! :) x
