Bren's Diary - The journey begins, again!

It's 6pm now.

Thanks. I know that I need to get on with it. I'm just really disappointed that I dont feel great about my body anymore. I have been pretty good today and even wrote my first draft of my job application.

I suppose next Thursday I really need to have a loss as this will give me some motivation to keep at it. Bascially really want to wear the beautiful, fashionable clothes I bought last November when I had achieved my goal.

Never mind, like you say 5 clear days to get there. Bring on the measure in! I really need to see a loss so that I have some motivation.

Dinner was 100 tuna and 120 veg.

With your protein bars, aim for another pint of water as they can sometimes cause fluid retention. Also only have half a bar and only every second day. Try while on them to exercise, i.e have the half after your workout.

Dont we both know it! I feel awful that i've eaten only a little extra, although I never seem to deviate with bad food such as sweets or chocolates. Glad we are staying in this weekend as it means I can manage/control my food intake and stay on plan.
 
hi I made up my own diet i have three meals a day have fruit for snacks and whenever i feel hungrey for something more i drink water. but i bet i wouldnt have been able to loose as much weight without the gym! I think my metabolism (sp) is a bit shot, because i was at a good weight last year and i gained almost 2 stone but at least im not far off my goal now though :) and ive started to go to the gym again, I am going to punish myself if i dont go!
 
Well this morning I did something very naughty....I measured my waist again just to see if anything had happened, because such a good eating day yesterday and I've lost 2cm!!!!! But cant offically declare it on my ticker until Thursday morning.


Yay!!!!!

Today I'm going to hopefully go and practise my golf at a driving range. Hopefully in here somewhere I will also manage the gym or a walk.

Hi all, thanks Chaching, I'm aiming for the gym again tomorrow morning!

Well as I have mentioned before the weekend is my low point.... This weekend including this evening (I caught up with a friend), I have had;

4 glasses of wine
tofu and vege (vietnamese), no rice!
3 protein bars
40g of chocolate
banana
1 weetbix
150ml of skim milk

I have however, kept up the water since Friday (about 3 or more ltrs a day)!

I have eaten a meal out tonight, a healthy choice, but I'm pumping the water down aiming for a good loss on Thursday, fingers crossed.

I 've been having a very tough time mentally at the moment so havent eaten much today;

breakfast - muesli, yoghurt and 1TBS of honey + black coffee
snack - 2 crackers and 25g of mozzarella cheese
dinner - 2 small spinach and ricotta cannelonni + 100g of steamed vege

water - 2.5 ltrs

1/2 a protein bar

No gym.
 
Night all, going to bed and also going to do some floor exercises for 10 mins in front of the telly first.

I've eaten okay today had 2 treats... I know.. a biscuit and mini (6cm diameter) custard tart!!! it was yum...

Measure day tomorrow also but I might wait until Friday? I went to the gym today also so I'm not too worried about my measuring I'm confident I will be moving that ticker from the 84 cm's...

Well I've measured this morning.... To sum up the entire week i've eaten about 70% to my plan. I had a few unavoidable meals out and chose salads and spinach and ricotta options ( I always try for fish). I snuck in a 2 protein bars, 100g of Chocolate (I know!) and 2 biscuits, also milk in a bout 5 coffees so overall not too disappointed.

Mentally a tough week this week with some issues in my head (30% related to my uncomfortableness with my weight) so I'm still very happy with my loss... yes a loss!!!! of 2cm's around my waist and 5cm's in total off my body.

This coming week I am aiming for 1 -2 cm's off the waist again hopefully the latter. A few sessions at the gym about 3 or 4 and keep up with the water, no alcohol and no chocolate or biscuits! About 90 % with my food.

Wish me luck and I'm off to change my ticker!!! yay I love that bit.
