Bring it on....round 2!

2 gorgeous cakes baking in the oven - pineapple and cherry upside down cake and a mocha marble cake - neither of which am I going to touch!!
I'm doing a pilau rice and veg curry, salad and grilled lamb and chicken skewers. If I stick to the meat and chicken and salad it should all be fine. I will be strategicly in the kitchen making tea when the sweet is served ;)

hopefully I will end the eve very much still in ketosis!

hope everyone has a great night.

Hi Cookie I love baking and have still been making cakes. Not easy is it. I also insist on torturing myself watching things like the great British bake off. Must like suffering!

Yep we're diet sadists we are - plus we have to keep up our baking skills up so that when we are at goal we can enjoy the occasional treat! ;)

Day 19.... On train on way home from a VERY long day. I am absolutely shattered! ! On the plus I have been on the go all day so dietwise its been pretty easy. When I get home it'll be a soup, hot bath and then bed methinks!! Hope everyone has had a good day, Xxxxx

Cheers lass - hope your having a goodun!!

Day 20 - wow thats my second block of 10 days down - only 8 more to go! Scales still havent budged since last weekend though :( :( :(
Oh well at least they aren't going up!

I just have to keep going at it 100% and at some point those pesky scales are going to have to relent and start moving downwards again - I am firmly in ketosis so fingers crossed things will get going again soon!

I think I'm going to start having some psyllium husks today - keep thing regular likes ;)

A friend gave me great tip in the past - you can get REALLY cheap psyllium husks in Asian/ethnic food stores - got a box for £1.29!! you just add a teaspoon to a glass of water and neck it!!

Off to cook lunch for the 'eaters' - I think I'm going to be adventurous and try one of the new food packs now - chilli or spag bol - decisions decisions - Good old exante really have branched out these days - makes life a little more interesting!

Hope everyone has a fab Friday,
May the exante force be with you (ok I think I've had too much coffee!!)

Good afternoon Cookie, you're doing fab. Enjoy your evening xx

Well its 3am and for some reason I just can't sleep - been tossing and turning for hours. My tummy is also all a rumbling so I am on here to stop myself heading to the kitchen - I may have half a shake to see if having something in me tummy will help......

Yay! Me too... Wide awake. I'm not hungry though. Got a bottle if sparkling water which I'm guzzling because my mouth us dry!

Hope u get back to sleep soon :) x

I hope u eventually managed to get some rest last night ffnb!

I had the spag bol at lunch time - I was pleasantly surprised :)

My Dad has just caught the train back to 'northern climbs' - It was lovely to have him stay but it has meant that I have had a lot of extra guests/food related events, fingers crossed it should be easier to do TS from here on in. I still have 3 eaters in the house to cook for but it should be a little more easy going (hopefullly).

I have a pile of ironing the size of mount everest, I have to clear out and wash the car ready for it to go for its MOT, I have a guest tomorrow am (for a cup of tea only thankfully), I have a load of tidying/ clearing out to do and need to fit in some study this weekend - so fingers crossed it should keep me busy and out of temptations way.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend,

positive exante vibes coming your way :vibes:

Hardly got anywhere with the things I was supposed to do today :sigh:
I guess there is always tomorrow! !

Just had the exante 'curry' for the first time - jury is still out on that one..... I have a feeling its gonna give me heartburn. It was pretty filling though.

Don't beat yourself up about what you've done and not done. As long as you are 100%! I do more housework in 10 minutes when someone is coming round unexpectedly than I do in a day!

My next step is the meals on Exante. Will be trying those soon :/) x

I love the smell of the spag bol, but hate the texture of it. Put me clean off trying the others for a while.
Love the shakes though, I totally missed them when I was on holiday!
I guess that bodes well if I end up doing the 5:2 diet to maintain though, as I could use the shakes for my down days!

Enjoy your weekend and tea with your friend :D xx

Oh and I'm with FFNB with the housework! :D

Thanks guys,
I did what I could housework wise and not gonna stress about what I didnt get around to - it will get done when it gets done...

GP I am also thinking that the shakes would be a really great option when it comes to 5:2 maintenence. Good old exante!

car is cleared out and I will hopefullly be able to get it MOTed tom - fingers crossed it doesn't need anything major doing - its a 14 year old banger so im a tad nervous!!

Dietwise i had a choc shake for brekkie, a tom and basil soup for lunch and a vanila shake with mint tea for dinner - mmmm a hug in a mug! I only slightly envied the others the lasagne and chips and salad I'd cooked!!

I've been running to the loo every 10 mins so I think I have drunk enough water - fingers crossed the scales will budge tom - they really have been incredibly stubborn for the past week and a half!!

Hope everyone has had a good weekend. Heres to a great week ahead for us all - onwards and downwards folks,
xxxx
