I'm so pleased you did that, hun - it's really important to get all the facts so you can make a clear decision about what to do next. Your Oh sounds very controlling (like my dad) and that in itself can be hugely scary - but that's what they intend. I used to go along with it just for an easy life, ditto my mum, but I used to picture it as him being the death star and I was Luke Skywalker, the rebel fighting to get away from that control :D.

Arm yourself with all the facts, and remember that this is all about working for a better future for yourself and your kids xxx

And I really wouldn't worry about the pizza - you've drawn a line under it, and knowing you you'll be lifting kettle bells in your sleep :) xxx

Thanks so suse xx. Your so very tough with everything you've been through. Made me smile about you as Luke sw. Although that was your coping mechanism, your story is making realise even more what effect things must be having on my boys.

I have a confession it wasn't just the pizza, as I'd broken diet I thought deck it and went a bit berserk the rest of day. Lol. Hoping being naughty and getting some baddies in my system may help me in some way :p. I have just done my kettlebells though.
 
Hi been to do my measurements, so glad to report I've sts weight even after yesterday's blow out. The cm's have decreased again too - just when I thought I was getting no where with this. I'm happy with 1cm off everywhere and 1.5cm off the waist (again! Strange or what?). So that's a now a waist of 93cm. She's pretty accurate too as she uses permanent pen to make sure she measures in the same place each week.

No way have you got a 36" waist!!!!!!! Surely that's hips! Is she measuring the smallest top half circumference?
 
Yes yes I do have permi marks a bit excessive I know ;-) silly me!! They're only small dots though.

Trust me kettlebells are great suse as your doing 3types of exercise at once; residence, cardio and core so you have more effective workout in less time. It's a 6 week program and I'm still dying after only week 2!
 
She's measuring one cm below my belly button???

Minimum girth at natural contour just below bottom rib, tape level.

* "Minimum girth" means area where feature is smallest in circumference.

Try a cm or so above your belly button! Then you have lost instantly a couple of inches!!!!!

Hi ATF x. Bit excessive with perm marker I know! But it helps with accuracy.

I do kettleworx +3X a week over in 20mins (well 30 inc the warm up and cool down). Teeney does kettlenetics +3X a week 40mins. Both are very similar so don't think either one is better or worse. I've been doing them for ages but I'm still on week 1 and 2 in the program!! As I want to perfect the moves before moving up. Then we do Davina or Ladans on off days.

Thanks for sharing your workout, I have been interested in them for a while, might get some. I love Thai-bo videos (90s I know, but billy banks so motivational!) and thinking of doing 30 day shred. Will look into them all and decide...

Hi Toni, liking the hearts idea! I've got the Billy blanks box set (I've got them all tbh), I do them on occasion for some variety. I'm so glad your thinking about upping your exercise, it's a chore at first to make time and doing it but great when you get into it. And as your at home who cares if do it badly to start! Good luck with whatever you chose x.
 
Hehe iv been naughty and doing kettlenetics every day almost. I would certainly recommend doing something/anything to get moving. The best results iv had tho are from the Kettlebells, my back is a hell of a lot more toned and a feel my sides tightening too :)

Light bulb moment; we are suppose to have off days with kettlebells but you been doing it almost +5X, there's your gain - your building muscle!

I'll have to update waist after my workout. Need to peel myself off forum!!
 
Thanks busy n teeney, you two have def motivated me to do more! Will start tonight, put it on my phone n do in bedroom in the eve while hubs watching tv or whatever. Maybe I should ask him to join me, lol. Also like Pilates!

Haha that's a totally different exercise getting hubby to join you ;-) hehe check us home gym bunnies out x
