Donuts do nothing for me, but yep you are hardcore!!! Impressed!

I'm having lamb patties and fried cabbage for lunch! I put it all in mfp last night.

You've clearly not had Krispy Kremes my dear! I dont know what their secret is, but they're so lush Tee.
What are the patties and cabbage on mfp? STS'd again :( so I'm thinking maybe I need to do the measuring and finding out the proper ratios....
 
A packet mix would be lovely! The little world food shop in town was quite limited, I did pick up some coconut flour though :) not sure what that will be for but sounded nice lol x

Had to cop-out of body pump, feeling too sore in shoulders and arms. Never mind, probably do me good to have a day off exercise wise.

i totally agree with you on sizes, drives me mad. I found spending more got more flattering fits too. I used to love French connections stuff even when I was a size 16 I could squeeze in stuff and look ok compared to rotten baggy ugly 16s elsewhere. I've never been to Zara, although I'm up for a wardrobe change one I'm at goal so new shops might be just what I need :) you are so lucky being a 10 :)

Im so glad you agree on the importance of fit, no point wearing the cheapest/trendiest/fast fashion if you look naff, I used to always want the latest trend and would end up with piles of unwanted clothes. But now I'm more selective I buy more expensive classics that will last. French connection is a fantastic shop x. Zara's is my favourite for me and the kids. Its good on both quality and price. I've also been buying a lot of ex-asos stuff on eBay lately. It's always good to get a bargain. ;-)

Nothing to report from busybusy Land. Everything according to plan yesterday, although I did have seconds of dinner later...a habit I need to get myself out of. I know you can eat whenever your hungry on this plan but I know I'm eating extra more from boredom/habit. I'm with Lauren today on honesty in diary, there's no point otherwise.

We're not fasting as its too hot. I've convinced my brother (who's living with us right now) that it wasn't good for him to fast and be on the road delivering parcels all day. I didn't think it was good to fast if its a risk to him and other road users. What happened on the Brecon Beacons with the poor soldiers really scared me.

Ok, I've just come on.....again! Which is normal for me on this woe, I usually come on each time I go into K, regardless of where I am in my cycle. I'm thinking I've probably not been in K all week and its taken me a full week and a bit from my blip. So may not have been losing for that reason.

Hopefully the conscientious effort of keeping clean and green has tipped me in to K and I should start seeing some losses.

NB. No room for falling off again!!!
 
Hi Busy, at least you have seconds, I just end up picking at everything all day and I'll bet it adds up to more than if I just had seconds. Good idea not to fast in the heat. :)

Ok Busy, apart from coming on when ur in ketosis (eeekkkk) how else can you tell ur in k? I have ketostix but just realised they are out of date haha I'm putting not being purple or even dark pink down to that! x

It should come after a week tops, but to be sure you can tell by having a funny taste (metalic), not very nice breadth, not very nice b.o., increased energy and decreased appetite. Dump the ketostix, they're notoriously unreliable. Hope this helps

Thank you Sandra, but I'm not getting any losses, only inches. It's getting on my nerves tbh x.

Everything ok here. Yesterday had 2BPs all day and then dinner at 9.30, didn't feel hungry due to the heat and probably from fasting last few days. Then wanted to wait for hubby's fast to be over so we could eat together. Dinner was a curried fried eggs with green chillies, onion and coriander with some fried cabbage. It was very yummi.

Still no change for me on scales but still losing inches.! Very frustrating, found this in the main forum on a very useful sticky;

8. Take your measurements - The body sometimes has difficulty losing weight and inches at the same time. It takes a lot for the body to shed excess skin. There will be times when your body will lose inches and stall losing weight during this process. A true stall in Atkins is considered 4 weeks of no weight loss AND no loss of inches. By taking your measurements, you can determine whether you ever reach a true stall, though it is rare if you are eating properly.

I'm going to put the scales away for a couples of weeks and saves myself the mental torture!

The family have requested Daal today, which is my favourite. legumes are the only thing I really miss on this, so can't weight for maintenance phase.

L curried eggs and celeriac chips
D roast chicken legs and broccoli with cheese.

I think the inches are excellent!!!! Are you still doing exercise every day? I've not done anything so shouldn't be surprised at no loss. x

sorry to hear you are not seeing scales change but as for inches you can so tell your body is tightening right up in all the right places. Which coconut oil do you use in your bulletproofs?

im so envious of your workouts willpower, you will do heaps more by doing what you do than diet alone, I need to get that in my head plus you've probably builder good muscle and it weighs. Yes you may weigh less if you'd not bothered at the gym but you may not have a cracking body like you do now. Keep at it, you are clearly doing something right :)
 
I have a muslim friend in America, she has decided to stop her fast since it has become hot and had persuaded her brother to not fast also. He does a driving job and she was worried about his, and others, safety if he crashed his lorry. She is busy with the Quran though and so for her this is still a special time.
 
Morning all, morning Lauren,

Had a good day yesterday.....slipped up in evening with a bowl of dates, ooops! I need to stay well away. I have 1 thinking ill be ok - but then can't put them down! We've got loads in atm, they're a bit like what mince pies are at Xmas. Abstinence is the only way! Not gonna dwell on it too much, it could have easily been pakoras or mince rolls we had for the rest....which I cooked!

Dear Lauren, Ive surprised myself with the workjng out....I'm no way a hardcore gym/workout buff - I just try not to break routine as I know if I stop I'll make excuses not to go. So I keep chipping away at it. I know there can often be many barriers to working out - I really urge everyone to give something a go, there's so much out there;

DVDs
Gym
Walking/jogging
Swimming
Yoga (is soooo good for toning and relaxing)

The more you do, the more you see progress, the more you then want to do It's a knock on effect. Give it a go!

Not at all sure of menu, update later.
