Cathys Dukan diary

way to go Cathy you can do it breaking the 190 is brill makes you want to push more for the next

ooh fantastic :D fingers crossed for you here x

Cant wait for tomorrow, its really hot and humid here today, I went for a long walk earlier which made me not hungry lol, so Ive hardly had a ting today, havent had lunch yet. I was going to have fish but the ruddy fish man aint been yet! I hate this hanging around for him. The kitten knocked over a plant pot and if I vacuum sods law says the fish man will come and I wont hear him beep, so cant do it yet. He usually comes at 2 ish. Oh hurry up you annoying man!
Still got loads of soap made this morning. I really want a bath too before the kids come back at 4!

run the bath and jump in it. guarentee your man will turn up then ;)

I doubt he will come now, really cross, have to think of something else for tea now, I was looking forward to fish. Boooo.
Anyway time for a bath whooo hooo, took some cut off bits from the soap I made the other day, one has glitter in it, its called pink champagne its gorge, right off for a pamper

Aww hope to take pics tomorrow Jet, then I can upload them to my site for relaunch next week, but I will let you know

good morning cathy ,

hope ur ok and are not to busy !! i cant wait to have a look !

I'd love to be able to buy my fish from a fish van!

My Mum gets her fish every Friday from a van, probably quite common in Scotland as there's so much coast (the woman who delivers it is from a costal village a bit further south, she must drive 200 miles a day for her deliveries, if not more)

(I'd rather have Cathy's soap though - it is lovely and fab if you have sensitive skin).

Thanks Laura :)

Yes I would also like to buy my fish from a van, Barsteward never came, really fed up with him. I was really looking forward to fish, just having tinned salmon, not quite the same

we used to have a fish van round in cornwall and a fish and chip van , now i can walk down to the harbour and buy it off the boats in the morning if I wanted too

Not having a good week, I am so tired, I cant seem to sleep at night which makes me need to eat to keep myself awake through the day. Then I need carbs because of the quick rush they give , then its back to (nearly) square one. Yesterday was rubbish. But today even though I am tired I am feeling more positive and not really craving carbs, so have some chicken in the oven to eat in a bit. I feel I dont want to eat anything sweet in case it makes me want more sweet stuff.
I hate days like this. usually I think , hhmmm I know what I fancy, but today I cant decide if I want crunchy , chewy, hot, cold, spicy or plain. Or my bed lol

Hope today's better for you, Cathy. Enjoy your chicken!

Hmm... I'm sorry you're having trouble sleeping... but I don't see how eating during the day helps you keep awake?!!!

I too am a very bad sleeper... I presume you've tried the obvious.

A walk would be good when you feel a snooze coming on (I get it here - most embarrassing - just after lunch! I could curl up under my desk and zzzzzzzzzz yet am awake half the night!)

OOO im like that Cathy think we need to break the cycle of food will keep us going , have started doing the have a drink then see if i really do need the food , old habits die hard

I totally agree...sleep problems were a cause of my weightgain issues recently (pre-dukan)...

I used to be tired and eat sweet things or carbs to pep me up during the day.... then it became a cycle of eating an extra quarter of a days calories...which in turn had me up running on 16-20 hour days :S...

do you drink coffee/caffeine on this diet cathy?

I would say try decaf coffee if you don't already, I should also take my own advice:sigh:. I sleep well enough usually but sometimes do have trouble staying asleep.

I will get some more decaff, though I dont drink a lot of tea/coffee/caffeinated drinks. I know I was fine until Emma was ill last year though, she used to stop breathing and choke then start being sick, and I only really slept when I was exhausted and my body couldnt stay awake, and now I find I wake very easily, and I'm not one for staying in bed once I'm awake and its morning. Hopefully with the darker nights I can get to bed earlier and get a decent amount of sleep. Last night I had a not too bad sleep and Emma decided she would get up early, its always the way isnt it lol.

Woke up a bit better today, I had a good sleep at last.
Had a bit of upsetting news though, my niece who is nearly 5, suffered a brain injury at birth (she breathed in meconium), anyway my brother text me to say they had woken up to wee Beth having a massive fit in bed, so now they are at hospital having tests. They did say after she was born that it can happen later on to start having fits. I'm so sorry for them it must have been so scary. :(
