Cute bunny x x
He looks pretty small so he's probably a lionhead dwarf or a cross Netherland. Which are notoriously naughty! I'm very lucky with Simon that he isn't a git, he's just shy. But he lets me pick him up when I need to and stuff. But yeah, lionhead's that are dwarf's tend to be little b*stards! My friends had a lionhead lop and she was a right cow
Males are usually calmer - in most species actually. I've always preferred male pets.
A female might chill him out, but you'd have to get one or both neutered. Putting them in pairs usually helps
Ralph is lovely. He's like a little dog. He'll run right up to the runs and put his paws up trying to get my attention and when he's in the garden run he'll follow me round if I walk past. He also LOVES cuddles!! He's lovely, one of the friendliest rabbits I've ever had. He's an absolute joy to own, I have to say. He even does the 'happy bunny dance'. I love that so much!!!
Ramona's getting there and has chilled out a lot since I mixed her with Ralph.
Simon is much happier now he's with Peggy and not with his evil brother. Peggy's just Peggy lol. I got her off my work friend so I could mix her with Simon and che took his evil brother Nick
When I originally got the netherland pair they were named Nick and Simon - after Nick Frost and Simon Pegg And when I got Peggy it was just a happy coincidence that she was named that and would be living with Simon. Still makes me giggle!
When I got the pair Ralph was in, also two brothers, he was with one called Victor. But Victor died very suddenly a few months after I got him They were both dumped in a box outside a vets, so we don't know for certain their age. But they were probably around 6 months. So Ralph was far too young to live by himself forever so when Ramona came in to work as a stray I took her home. She was living in a BIG cage next to Ralph's run for a couple of months and I put them in the garden run a few times together after she was neutered. Then one day I thought f*ck it and just put them in Ralph's house together. It worked REALLY well!
A friend of mine took Simon and Peggy home and kept them in a spare bedroom out loose for a couple of weeks and mixed them that way.
Mixing bunnies cane be a bit of a nightmare and hit & miss too. Think I've just been lucky. But a lot of animal rescues will help with mixing as they all want bunnies in pairs.
Such a shame your boy is so naughty Good job he's cute eh?!
My chinchilla's always seem to get annoyed when I clean them out lol. So funny aren't they?! Silly animals.
Yeah all my animals, except the frog, are rescues Pretty much always have been.x
Chinchilla's are the second most dirty, smelly animals I've ever owned They're SO messy!! Guinea Pigs are the worst so far
But they are cute as hell and all have their own personalities. You'd probably like their names. Charlie is the Mum and her first son is Rocco (Rocco's Modern Life) and the youngest is Bernard (from Black Books) My original gang had Grandma and Grandpa too - Harley and Tiggy. They died about 2 years ago when they were about 10. Harley had the most amazing personality! Lovely creature. Still miss him.
But yeah, messy!x
I like the pre-dinner forage, made me chuckle x x
