Chelsea Lou - The Ventura adventure, not a sinking ship!

Blimey Chels, it must be a big ship! So great about your work clothes being loose, I remember that feeling - oh bring it on!
The food choices on the cruise look fab don't they? - you'll have a great time. I've had a look at the Romal Originals site Dis mentioned (thanks Dis!) and there some good things. I love 'tinterweb shopping as I hate the real thing! xx
Shopping.............you and me both Bess, hate it with a passion.

If you google Ventura and have a squiz you will see it in all its glory. It has 19 levels I do believe. It is so luxurious and I might have to take lessons in "How to be a lady" and "How to fart and park without being caught out" :D

I had a quick look on the link Dis sent and you are right, some interesting stuff, which wont break the bank either. Wonderful xx

It's huuuuuuge!! Where are you going on it? I must have missed that bit....x

Southampton - Le Havre - Bilbao - La Coruna - Southampton .......I think. May have left out a port but who cares.........I'm gonna be on it......yay!!!

My mum is on a cruise at the moment, she emailed last week saying they weren't going to dock in Lisbon as they were trying to outrun a storm (think I would be gutted missing somewhere coz of a storm) and yesterday she texted saying she was just leaving Rome on a train to go back to the ship and the food and everything was wonderful. Cannot remember which ship she is on but it is its maiden voyage (hmmmm went to Titanic Exhibition in December doesn't bode well..... ha ha) she has also been to Mallorca. She went from Southampton too.....

Oooops forgot to say well done on your 2lb and your 15lb overall, I will be over the moon if I ever reach 15lb lost..... grrrrr!!!! Actually counting I have lost 9.5lb to date....

Well done to you for the 9.5lbs. A great achievement considering you have been struggling. Just think of what you can do once you get your head sorted. You'll get there hon.

Re: The Titanic, I have already decided that I am going to have a photo taken, at some point, with my arms outstretched, at the front of the ship and "flying into the sunset" as per Rose lol. Just hope the rest of the story doesn't come true........perhaps apart from getting jiggy with Leonardo Di Caprio ;)

Ooohhhh think of all the calories you'll burn getting jiggy with Leo! ;)

Absolutely thousands!!!!!!!!! Most of them with the excitement and anticipation. The reality would, more than likely, be a let-down :cry:Fantasies are always best left inside ones head.........what a cynical bu*ger I am lol xx

But what fun finding out??? ;)

Notice my new avatar? Have any guess as to what it is?

Fish? Grass? very pretty though, I like it. I have never fathomed how to put a pic up but with the many changes you make to yours, perhaps it isn't hard?

Is it the design on a dress/scarf? Reminds me of peacock feather colours.

I trust you Katy... and having looked through the brochure, online brochure and virtual tour I reckon I will be eating loads of fish, seafood, good cuts of meats, salads and veggies. Puddings have never really been my thing. Sis and I intend to don our MBTs and walk the deck morning and evening, three times round is approximately 1 mile, plus there is the gym, the classes, the pools, the dancing, the sex  - no, just kidding on that one lol lol. Really, I shouldn't put an awful lot on during the week.

Oh, I do make myself laugh :D........the sex........hahahaha
Looool funny chels you make me giggle.. young lady.!

what deck are you on ?? in on B.. lower down.. i hope i will be safe down there.!

I think I'm on B deck too. Not too close to the action but not too far away either. One flight of stairs I think to the Pool Deck :D Oh.......and I wish I was a young lady...well just being young would be good haha

The big 40!!!

Another good day yesterday and I'm planning to have another today. 40 days and 40 nights, sounds like I am being very holy ;) Only 4 more days until I move up to 810. I forgot to ask CDC for the booklet, so have no idea what I am allowed to have. I would be grateful if someone could give me info on what I am allowed so that I can get prepared.

I woke up at 2:30, having fallen asleep at 10 last night. Finally gave in and got up at 3:30. It was obvious that I was not going to be able to get back to sleep. My mind seems really alert. Mental fogginess that has dogged me for a few years has cleared, maybe temporarily but I hope that is not the case.

I was described by a visitor from one of our regional offices, who came to our office for a meeting yesterday, as "having a sparkling personality" and that he liked coming to us because it meant that he could see me!!! Ooooh errrr!!!!! I can say, hand on heart, that sparkly would not be the first word that would have come to mind in describing me a few weeks ago. Miserable cow would have been more apt. I have rediscovered my sense of humour and zest. CD? End of menopause? Spring on its way? Who knows what the reason is but I am making the most of it :D

It is now 4:40am  No diary updates for me to read :cry:so will watch the BBC and see what's the latest on Libya and the rest of the middle east. Times are definitely a-changing.

Morning hunny, 40 days!!! wow you are doing brilliantly, well done you!!

You certainly sparkle here it shines through!!

Have a lovely day chels

x

You are heavily into crafts and stuff, so my guess is that it is something very pretty that you have made

I didn't make this one but I have made many things made up of lots of these over the years. ;)

Fish? Grass? very pretty though, I like it. I have never fathomed how to put a pic up but with the many changes you make to yours, perhaps it isn't hard?

I, too, thought it was really pretty when I first saw it. "A molecule of 'pretty juice'".

Is it the design on a dress/scarf? Reminds me of peacock feather colours.

I thought it looked a bit like a peacock feather, as well.

What it really is...

is a frozen molecule of my favourite alcoholic beverage. Can you figure out what I usually drink?

If you want to see what your favourite drink looks like frozen in microscopic form... you can go to these websites:

Microscopic Alcohol Art - Molecular Expressions: The Cocktail Collection (GALLERY)

YouTube - Alcohol as Art

@Bess, All I do is go to UserCP, click on change avatar, then go to the brouse upload button and then find the image I want saved in a file on my computer. So, if I want to upload something from the internet I just copy and paste the url (web address), unless it is too large... then I save it to my computer in an accepted format and resize.

Very easy.

Minimins needs a spell check function -- I make loads of typos. Nope, not drinking -- had not been awake long enough to have my first cup of coffee. ;)

Alcoholic... I can spell it. No really, I can. ;)
