I think 'sparkly' is a perfect description of you Chels, and you are crazy to imagine that you won't find a lovely guy out there... you will, and it's your confidence, kindness and sparkles as well as your lovely looks that will attract them. And until Mr Right appears, I'd say go for it and get jiggy with Leo... oh yes!

It is a beautiful day here and I might treat the fish in the pond at work to some grub, they are bound to have surfaced as its so nice. I have got very attached to the fish, its only me that looks after them and our parent company refuses to have some kind of grid put over the pond, to keep the nasty herons away. It breaks my heart to see a fish flapping about in the heron's beak.
They just say its "the food chain" So why keep on paying out loads of money to have the pond re-stocked? Madness. They could just turn it into a lovely area for pond-life (half the bosses could get in)
My colleague fell over two days ago, struggled into work yesterday and couldn't manage it today. A visit to the GP and then the hospital has revealed two broken ribs and a possible 6 week lay-off from work So loads of extra work/hours pour moi. I've booked tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday off, so not quite sure how they are going to manage. Ho-hum. I am not giving up my 3 days, as if I don't use it I will lose it..........I'm not that generous. Does that make me a bad person........or shall we just say it is one of my eccentricities Think I will go with the latter lol. Hmmmmm if I did forego the holiday I get to see crush

I'm with you on that GE, I have my appraisal in 30 minutes and was wondering if it would be 'expected' of me but s*d it. We've had no proper pay rise for 2-3 years and the piddly little bit of bonus we got twice yearly has been stopped. Nah......you're right, holiday all the way. Besides, I'm on "helping DD2 move house " duty.

Totally hacked off with the appraisal I got today, considering a lot of it was input from my close colleague and 'superior' who had all of last week of through illness in the family and will have to have up to 6 weeks off through 2 broken ribs, I know she can't help that but neither could I help having my gallbladder removed (10 days convalescence) and at the beginning of this year Bronchitis and laryngitis (told to take a week off and took 4 days) - apparently my 'reliability' is not meeting the required standard!!!
Also, 'the reception needs to be kept tidy at all time's.........its all her crap that litters up the reception. She puts her coat, handbag, shopping bag on my desk, plus assorted packets of food. Goods In is never manned and all the deliveries end up coming into Reception and its a bugger trying the janitor to take it away. So its not Corporate enough pah!!! I was told that my appearance is satisfactory. I wear the company business suit, hair always done, face always on etc. Colleague walks around looking like a bag lady for the most part. I am so pi$$ed off!!! Also my files need to have nicely written, identical labels on them
I was told that I have a friendly and welcoming personality............oh what a relief??!!
I am also not permitted to go to the loo unless someone covers the reception. I tried to explain that by the time I can get someone to cover I would have more than likely wet myself. I was told that I should call for help before I get to the desperate state. It is because I can never find anyone to come and provide cover that I end up in the desperate state. Saints preserve us!!!
Jess temped alongside me for a while, when there used to be two of us doing the job, so she will tell you what it is like.
Anyway, I'm off now until Wednesday so will have calmed down by the time I go back.
I need to win the lottery and then I could have the great pleasure of telling them to "Do one".

Oh heck
Eric's older and bigger brother has come calling. He is sitting by the loo on the floor and I am having to have a wee with feet up in the air, just in case he decides to crawl over them. As you know, trips to the bathroom are very frequent on CD and I'm not happy. I get the horrible feeling that all his bigger relatives are about to descend on me. Eric has obviously told them all about the hospitality on offer here.
