Chelsea Lou - The Ventura adventure, not a sinking ship!

GO YANG!!!

Hi Chels --

Whooop Whoop! At getting under 150, and to your 2009 low.

:happy096:

I have log way to go, yet, to get to mine: 12 pounds! :sigh: However, I am only 2.5 pounds from my 2010 goal!

I am sooo hoping to be 10.9 on Monday at my CDCs myself. However, I did have a meal out last night (long post in my diary) and so I had better prepared to accept that I may not (I was only 1/2 pound off last Monday). :sigh:

I hope that you and Jess both have a good weekend.

MM

Day 57

Morning Shanny, morning all, yes very happy and the scales said 10st 9lbs again this morning, so I wasn't dreaming. I was pleased they STS as I had three glasses of wine last night. My sis was over and I just fancied a drink. Its been weeks and I thought that as long as I stuck to the rest of the plan, then not much harm would be done.

We had a nice evening chilling and chatting. I plan to catch up with laundry today.

Wishing you all a relaxing "last day of the weekend:cry:" These two days just seem to fly by and before we know it...back to work......groan xxx

Morning Yang...

Hummmm, I am a bit worried here. I am doing laundry, too. But, then I have my DH doing most of it. I am just folding and will later put it away. He is doing the loading of the washer and transferring to the dryer bit.

Did you and Jess order tickets for the Vitality Show for the Saturday (26th)?

I am going to do so Tuesday, I think.

CFF is hoping to have surgery on the 23rd (she'll find out tomorrow), and if that happens she will not be able to attend with me.

So, DH said he is interested in the Saturday Kitchen package (he loves that show) and said he'd go along with me -- if we can arrange to do that. I told him that I might meet up with some MMs ladies for a coffee or whatever, and he said he'd have a wander through the fitness equipment. (He is the easiest going person. He had to be... there is no other kind that could live with me! ;) ).

So, I may be with CFF, or DH -- or on my own. But, I'll let you know.

MM

Happy Sunday Chels, lovely and sunny here after lots of rain in the night. Wellies again, :sigh:.

Hope your Sunday is unfolding into a fab day Chels, take it easy and make sure you keep those cold germs at bay!

Morning Chels,

It is frosty but a bit sunny here in Cambs. I hope you have a good day at work -- and otherwise. I'm off to my CDC's soon, and am crossing my fingers for a drop to make my next mini-target.

MM

Morning Mel, Surrey is the same, bit of frost but sunny.

Fingers crossed for you that you get a drop at CDCs. Let us know how it goes.

Same to you sweetie. How is the pesky 'flu? Hope you are on the mend. I've missed your wit and wisdom xxx

Thanks Yang,

A pound off... so, that puts me under 150!!! And at my next mini-target. Good thing, too -- as I was planning to give the Zumba shoes a try this morning.

I have a word for him but it isn't Poet lol.

Yay, well done, we are both under 150!!!!!!!!! I am only just under though but who cares? Lovely to say 140 something :D

Ying and Yang are perfectly balanced at present lol

Now, if we could find a SeeSaw and give it a go! ;)

MM

P.S. I cannot believe how long it has taken me to get to under 150 -- and I am just barely there, too. And, to think that in 2008, I promised myself that I would never weigh over 140 again! lol

But you're getting there Mel and that is the main thing.

We wouldn't have much fun on the see-saw. We would both be stuck up in the air!!!! Still, we could have a nice chat and put the world to rights until one of us lost a few more lbs to tilt the balance a bit hahaha

Well done Mel on the lb... yay!!!

Hi Chels, hope you are having a good Monday. :happy036: again for 10 9, bet you can't wait to go clothes shopping.

Sun is shining here in Ayr, still a bit cold though, daffodils are out in my front garden which is nice.

Day 58

Day 58 finds me feeling really, really sick. I am not sure if it is the perpetual dizziness of trying to get used to my new varifocal glasses or something else going on.

I felt sick yesterday but put that down to consuming a very large bar of Bournville Plain chocolate:eek: It has been hard trying to get used to these glasses at home, where you have time to adjust your head in order to be able to see different things. At work today though it has been nigh impossible to read the computer, look up at someone, look back down again without my head reeling.

I hope it is the new specs rather than an illness, although if it is the specs then how much longer I can put up with them is another matter. Optician said to allow 3 weeks or so to get used to them but I really dont want to be feeling like this for another hour let alone 3 weeks!! If I feel no better after the lunch break, when I have to cover the temp, then I am going home.

Thanks Dis for your good wishes. We have lots of lovely spring flowers all about now, which cheers me up no end. The daffodils look so cheery bouncing about in the breeze. Sun is shining too, although it is chilly.

Have a good day everyone :) xxx
