Cheryls Dukan diary

have your legs higher than your head while having a poo LMFAO!!!!
no seriously Cheryl needs to answer it!!

Cheryl you are needed!!!!

Im here now.............Ok as you asked so nicely..........If you are having trouble opening your bowels then sit on the throne (as Jo so nicely puts it) with your feet raised on a box or something so your knees are above your hips. This then puts your internal bits in the correct position thus making it easier to go. Its very common for older people to die whilst on the toilet as they strain and straining stimulates the vagal nerve which slows down certain organs and eventually stops them from working.
So moral of the story.............dont ever strain for a poo!

Sarah..........you asked! Lmao.
Son, hun, you really dont want to know what i ate. Honestly you would all be totally discusted with my menu. A few things..........bread and nutella and pain au chocolate(s) for breakfast, if at the pool then a hotdog and chips with an ice cream, crisps and biscuits as a snack and then dinner was steak, salad, chips, bread with melated goats cheese and drizzled with a little honey and cranberry sauce followed buy the biggest ice cream sundae you can imagine. Not all on the same day, well ok, some were. See i told you!!! Is was seriously carb heaven but i was good as i drunk about 4litres a day. Lol
How are you getting on hun?
Ive not really got the holiday blues and was glad to come home, needed my own bed and missed you guys far too much. xx
It was beautiful and VERY hot. Oliver almost learnt to swim himself and I know NEVER go to a huge French campsite during the peak season. We went just before and it was packed, the day before we left it was so busy you could hardly see the water in the pools as you walked past. It only got like that for 1 day while we were there though, until then it was lovely. Due to that we decided to travel up to St Malo a day early which was great as it meant the 440mile drive was out of the way so we could enjoy the Bastille celebrations. Wow they certainly know what a firework display looks like!

ok so cheryl this vagal nerve... poo position thing..'cos I'm the curious type... is there any theory as to why we have a nerve that when stimulated kills us? :S

Pass. There are not many prople that know about it as its not really easy to do but thats the most common reason. And saying that is it all old people that seem to die that way, ive not heard of anyone under 60-70 going that way

Aren't you touched Cheryl that now more and more people are going to be thinking of you while on the throne?

I must say - one GREAT thing about having a bit of a carb binge is the feeling that you've REALLY been... aaaah the relief!!

I must admit, re campsite and kids, it wouldn't be for me... fair enough if you've got your own, but can you not park/camp elsewhere than in a site with everyone else's kids?!! School holidays here are very long too, starting end June for most - early for those who have finished their exams - and so while your kids are young, get over here by mid June or in September. I always take time off in September when the vertically challenged noisy ones have gone back to school!!

So... not tempted to move here permanently then? (I only came for a year's work experience... in errr... 1986!)

No we looked into that about 2yrs ago, even found my dream house in northen brittany and when it came to it i couldnt leave my family and friends behind.
The site we went to last year was perfect really small so only couples or really young families. Thought we'd try a big one this year..........now we know! Lol. Thanks god we didnt go 2wks later or i really wouldnt have enjoyed it. We literally had the crowds for a day.
So did my positioning work for you? Glad you think of me daily!!!!

I thought the wheatbran was s'posed to do its bit too? (Must admit that neither seem to work for me!! Too many PPs in succession is fatal!)

Cheryl - I understand re moving abroad but friends and family can travel! It was probably easier for me as I did it when I was 21, having moved to London at 18 already, so I had no baggage, no commitments, and really had only intended a year out...
