A very lazy morning today ........ propped up in bed with a cup of coffee and my laptop reading the forum. The battery is about to die so that will be it to get up and get the ironing done. Im hungry so muffins to make and see what else I can have to fill me up. Not much happening today, no walk as its been bouncing down. Off to a friend's later then back for a docs appt.

Friday 10/8 PP
had a good couple of dukan days the gremlins seem to have disappeared for now ........... feel so much better so its a PP today ready for the weekend. Loving this weather just wish it would stay around for the next few weeks. MrR has been officially promoted to a Director of his company so thats brilliant he has some recognition of all the hard work he does plus a few more pennies.
I have taken a lodger in temporarily (My daughter's BF) long story but he has a lot to deal with with his own family, Mum has major issues (no fault of his own) and he has his own from the past (abusive bullying father) its very sad and very upsetting that she cannot see what a lovely young man she has in her Son. When you see a young man heartbroke because of his mother's stupidity over silly arguments on her part you have to help. I've always known he had problems at home and apparantly has dealt with it for years but in his words ' he's had enough', love in his family is to be given money! So sad that someone can throw away something so precious.
My lovely Son wants to go shopping, I'm so pleased how he has settled in to working life he loves it and the manager wants him to consider working full time so he must be doing good. So its off to town probs going into a bike shop or two or three
So food for today: lemon muffins (to bake now), omelette, chilli, chicken/beef (snack)

Oh Chris what a wonderful person you are, I am sure Lodger R will be grateful and appreciate your help though I am sure it won't be easy for you all, and hooorah for Mr R's promotion, that would get you a few more yummy dresses and some shoes *wink*

On and up in your world Mrs R - gonna follow right along in your footsteps!!!! Love all the good news and fab that your son is loving working life and they are obviously delighted with him! Promotion in this climate is pretty impressive so well done hubby too....... Daughter must be mighty glad to have such a lovely understanding Mum and BF will feel he has really landed on his feet! Amazing how easy Dukan can be when you plan what your gonna eat isn't it????? At home today getting ready for another show but cooked a proper lunch and boy was it yummy!!! xxx

had a lovely day with young MrR he is such a pleasure to be with (proud Mum) he insisted on buying lunch had roast chicken salad. TKMaxx bought a small xbody leather bag, leather pencil case and a leather makeup bag went a bit giddy actually but they are very nice and child no 1 is jealous ha ha.

Monday 13/8 PP
The next 3 weeks is going to fly by and then its back to work for me ............ no longer a lady of leisure watching sport. Loved every minute of the Olympics - I always do but even more so when your own country do so well.
Nothing much happening this week I want to stay in really and get some sorting done especially the garage (everybody's dumping ground) while we are having the back garden re-paved etc. plus new windows so the space is going to be needed in the next week or two. A friend gets married on Friday so looking forward to watching in the afternoon and then going at night.
Might need to buy a new set of scales think these ones have had it ....... I will weigh at the end of the week when ive bought a new set but I do feel so much better, my clothes feel fine so Im doing dukan OK.
