Monday 19/12 PP
1.5 days to work then im off - phew cannot wait for a lie in or even doing the ironing in my nighty until whatever time I feel like it. Loads to do in the next few days, Christmas shopping etc. would help if I knew what I was going for - its getting harder the older my children get. Ive got some new flavourings kindly ordered by my dukan friend & colleague. We got blackcurrant and nougat free. The nougat is fabulous very almondy taste - love it. Not tried the blackcurrant yet but ive also got caramel (2nd bottle) and Mocha. Im going to bake loads of muffins when im off on Thursday to get a freezer stock of them. Nougat muffins baking at the moment they smell lovely :)

Hi Ellie, Im always on the last minute when it comes to christmas shopping. Ive get some things but not a lot. I have a very small family so I dont have loads to buy for. I can walk into town when ive finished work today & tomorrow. Its remembering where ive hidden it all which is another problem so that I can wrap them :d'oh:

Love teh wreath Chris, it's gorgeous. Well done! Alan went to Sainsbury's to get the veggies for Xmas but it's rediculuous in there! All the veggies have a use by date of 23 December.... tatties 22 December. So he will have to go on Thursday again and otherwise we will have to go to Asda or the big Tesco on the other side of town. Thankfully we bought all the long hold food 2 weeks ago so we don't have to change our menu at the last minute.

Ah Mirjam you don't pay heed to these 'best before' dates do you? If it looks ok, and it smells ok it probably is ok is my motto! Particularly where tatties is concerned! Whoever heard of a best before date for tatties?

Have a good Christmas :D

True Supertonic, but I hate it when the tatties feel soft when you buy them or they have mould on them (this has happened sometimes). I don't care, the veggies aren't even for me, I'm having a salad :D

Wed 21/12
I have 2 presents still to get for the additions to our little family daughter's boyfriend and son's girlfriend also fresh vegetables and other stuff from the supermarket. I pick the turkey up on Christmas Eve morning from the village butcher so .............. phew Im now off work still lots to do 4 chocolate bouquets to make never made them before so wish me luck. Glad to see everyone is far more organised than me :)

hey im not orginised ... im franticly trying to finish the kitchen so we can sit down to dinner but its just not happening.... i need to get Veg & a tin of chocolates and other food to eat during the holidays but not able to get for it due to trying to finish kitchen.... Hubby wants to get the shopping xmas eve... last time i did that i couldnt get the veg i needed grrrrrr... I can see me getting up at 4.30 with him tommorrow to paint the damn kitchen

Oh No getting up at 5.30am is bad enough let alone 4.30 - hope I can stay in bed a bit later tomorrow but might just go to Morrisons in the morning as they open at 7 could be on the carpark raring to go for when they open. Would like to get all the shopping done tomorrow then Friday I can do important stuff like visiting a friend, taking floral tributes to loved ones graves and I'd like to go out for lunch with my Son x

Shortest day tomorrow, so things can only get better now!
Like the sound of the chocolate bouquet Chris, edible or no? I'm sure whatever you get from Morrisons it'll be fine, meals made and eaten with love in the heart are the best

Ellie hope your kitchen painted in time and not too stressed to enjoy it!

:dancing_snowman:I just got 5 bags of sprouts in Sainsburys reduced to 30p each. Very happy. How sad is that? Have a good Christmas.

Not sad CD that's what I call a savvy shopper - thought I'd got a bargain £1 for a big bag looking for holly now shame its all the spiky stuff growing around here
