Christmas present thread

I've just been on coffeedirect.com to order my dad some nice ground coffee for Christmas & DS & DD a variety pack of syrups (for milk & not coffee), and some coffee for me fell into my bag (honestly); I just love internet shopping :D

Ooh I've never been on there, is it reasonably priced? X

Not really, but they deliver next day (obviously too late for tomorrow) & I'm seeing my dad Saturday (last minute thing) so needed to get his coffee quite quickly & we don't have a Whittards or anything like that around here so 'net was the obvious thing, it was the 2nd thing which came up on google.

I spent £43 on 7 items which include p&p, my dads coffee was c£9 & DS & DD syrup was £12 I think, & my coffee was about £7 & I got a chai tea syrup, not too sure if I'll give that as a pressie or have that for myself & share with DD. Actually when I think about it the individual items weren't that bad it just adds up so quickly.

I'm off to M&S tomorrow for my sister's partner thermal vests, step mum some tops & OH boxers, then its just my mum & step dad to buy for & make up nieces & nephews 'boxes'.

Oh I forgot to metion I also bought a minature whiskey for DD boyfriends cracker & my brothers 'box'.

Decided to do my husband a hamper for Xmas as he wants a few bits and I want to put them all in a nice basket of some sort. Anyone know where I can get a nice wicker basket from (like the hampers) ?

I got mine from Ebay. Wicker basket, wrap, ribbon and bow for £4 odd including delivery.

My dad's coffee & the syrups I bought for DS & DD have been delivered to work & they look really nice. Initially I thought it wasn't that cheap but on reflection it's not that bad. I've smelt my chai syrup - amazing, I've also smelt my double choc coffee & christmas pud coffee, very nice, I can't wait to get home to try them...........'citing:D

Were very close Emsie - more like sisters at times lol she works for British Airways in the call centre in Newcastle, it can be a stressful job and when her depression is really bad it doesnt take much from a call to make her hit an all time low, people shouting and making demands, and blaming her personally for something that is out of her control. So aside from it being a xmas pressie I just thought it would be nice for her to pamper herself :D and feel good x

Lovely idea hon I know your daughters pain what about a calming or favourite cd for her to pamper to :)

Right...time to update and would be grateful of some suggestions.

Mum-Carrie Underwood concert ticket, £20 beauty treatment voucher, Donny and Marie Osmond CD, a personalised family calendar and Rod Stewarts book.

Stepdad-Mantaray jumper, personalised family calendar, a guinness gift set and I'm going to go and buy a £30 quid voucher for his fave local restaurant today. Granted he'll obv use it on us but I figure I'm saving him money haha!

Dad and Stepmum-So far a £30 voucher for a restaurant. Not to be a biatch but I am in no way as close to them as my mum and stepdad so if anyone has any ideas for a few little things I could get them (not smelly sets) I would be v appreciative.

Granny and Granda-Hamper including-shortbread, my granny's favourite sweets, a bottle of vodka, teabags...need some more to go in there and of course the cushion that I've posted in numerous threads and still can't wait to give them.

Sister (17)- One Direction calendar and annual and Little Mix's Ready to Fly book.

Sister (12)-Miley Cyrus piano book, Despicable me (DVD) and a massive bar of cadbury's (she's a chocaholic).

Best friend (female)..it's also her birthday- £15 MAC makeup voucher, smelly set, wine gift set, face masks, a teddy snuggly, a handbag (still need to order) and am paying 10 quid of her birthday dinner. Does that sound enough?

Best friend (male)-Little Mix calendar, Cheryl Cole autobiography, a cube that lights up (we're obsessed with Airwick candles...this lasts longer lol), Smelly set and the Westlife farewell tour DVD.

Ok I have just been to Sainsburys to get a few bits and have pretty much finished my Xmas shopping! It was so lovely in there, so much choice!!
So here goes:

* Mum- a wedding photo, from our photographer in a very expensive frame! Also got her a box of Ferrero Rocher ( that's where I get my Ferrerro addiction from haha!!) and a book called "The Gardeners' Book" full of tips and advice.
* Dad- the wedding photo with mum, some Waitrose chocolate Turkish Delight (his favourite, he won't buy then from anywhere else!!), and a really funny book called "Unexpected Item in the Bagging Area" which is about all the modern technology and how much easier it was back in the day ( a book my dad could have written!).
* Sister (32)- Steps DVD, Bassetts Liquorice Allsorts and a Dove pampering gift set.
* Husband- so far: a Lindt Lindor giant ball, Campo Viejo Rioja Gran Reserva ( his favourite wine and only sold at Sainsurys), Cockburns Special Reserve Port ( he is a cheese and port man) and a book called "The History of the World" very nerdy looking book, perfect :)

All I have left to buy is a nice jumper for hubby- going into town with him tomorrow to pick one out, and then I'm done! Just need to wrap it all :)
And best part of it all- most of it was on offer :D
Heres a photo of my Sainsurys haul:

My son (23) has gone out of his way to get something different this year for his Grandad. He used to be a Royal Marine and served on a ship called the Denmark. My son has trawled the internet and found a book on it so has ordered that. Bless him he has really thought about this
