what do you think of these? would they go with my dress?

Ladies Boots, Ladies Shoes, Ladies Sandals from Moda in Pelle

I love the red shoes but be careful that they're the same red as your dress or it'll be really noticeable. I like them in nude or black to go with your dress. Red to go with mine! In fact you've just helped me decide in my shoe colour!

They are fab I love them!!

These are my shoes that I own

A coast pair, a mode pelle pair and a Kay's shoes pair.

Should I treat myself again? I've already bought a shawl in black and my Xmas flowers? All my dresses are to be refunded so there's £300 back in the bank! What shall I do? I feel very greedy wanting another pair of shoes!

I've got to say I have never really liked the black pair of k shoes but love my coast shoes and have worn them whenever I can for posh do's. Same as my mode pelle shoes. I know if I do buy them and they fit well I will wear them! My gold mode pelle were £80 and I bought them back in 2004, my coast shoes were £90 and I bought them for a christening back in 2009!

Hi Nikki,

Love the links... you are goo shopper for sure.

I like the black shoes with the red dress. So, I think you should get some closed toed black heels to go with it. Reds are to hard to match (unless dyed to match) and I think mixing reds looks dreadful. You have a black shawl, so go with black tights and shoes (lengthens the legs) and then you can use gold jewelry and a gold clutch (not to be too matchy matchy.

Just a suggestion.

Everyone on fb says black! I really like the shoes I linked in red, they do them in black too :). Think I'll order those. Hubby will kill me for sure. We are supposed to be saving not spending!

p.s been naughty today, not food wise :)

i was ordering xmas flowers for my mum and birthday and xmas flowers for paul's mum. he said to get my own flowers myself rather than him ordering them so i did :)

choose a big bouquet as it's been probably 18mths since i had any really really nice flowers. cost a fortune! i'm sure i'm worth it (as the ad goes!

BLACK! And get some of those sexy tights like the model is wearing. Work those toned gams!

I don't do tights lol! When I wear heels I slide down the shoes!

ridiculous... emily has woken me up at 5.30am. she got up so i heard the banging and clattering so now i'm awake and not able to get back to sleep, especially since hubby is doing big big snores so i'm up and down stairs and it's daft o'clock!

weigh in day. been on the scales and it looks like a 1.5lb loss which for a week main on ss+ is rubbish! it should be a 4lb loss really! i could be doing WW and potentially loosing 1lb a week! lets see what the next few weeks are like.

Hey Nikki!

I have been reading this blog - it's quite interesting!

Kudos For Balanced Fitness & Lifestyle: How Much Body Fat Can You Really Lose In A Week?

It's really interesting when it speaks of 1 or 2lb weight loss in athletic people is optimum as anything else (even in sedentary people to a lesser extent) is a mixture of water and muscle mass in the long term (even on a VCLD which is probably why CD promote the 810 week) so for every 1 or 2 lb of fat, overweight people will lose 2-3lbs of water and muscle tissue. Obviously this is all theorectical. But to loose the weight as only fat (4-5lb), from a point of physics, you would have have a calorific deficit of 2500 calories a day. That said, you need to fuel your body when you excercise to fire up your metabolism, so you would be forever trying to ballance calorific intake against output to lose 5lbs a week (the claim is that on a VCLD you should rest as much as possible and try and excercise your muscle groups only), what I think I am saying is this...you need to use carbs and protein to protect your muscle mass and fuel your body when you train as hard as you do, otherwise your body shuts down, you retain fluid and you dont lose as much (hence the 1 or 2lb being optimum!)

weigh day today

12st 5lb. 1.5lbs off.

need a 2lb possibly 2.5/3lb next week if possible! only 2 weigh ins left before my 2 dos, 3 weigh ins together!

my body fat was 22% this am.

planning on doing weights in the gym and grab my power plate out of the garage for some wobble factor! plus my 2 zumba classes. this is it this week.
