Pauls done the throwing away too. Ve back from euro Disney after our first trip there and that weekend we went to our caravan. Have hubby the bags that needed binning on leaving them have him the bags for the car. He binned those too - our new clothes and the Disney t-shirts. Ended up driving 2 hours back to the site to dig them out of the bin, then 2 hours home again.

Going to pop to tesco and replace the binned items this am.

Happy Christmas Nikki, hope you have a lovely day tomorrow xxx

Happy [STRIKE]Binning[/STRIKE], I mean Boxing Day! ;)

So, if lil' dude was Batman and Ems was Buzz Lightyear... how did you and DH dress? Or dare I ask? ;)

Hi Nikki,

I have not gotten on the scales and think I won't until January 2nd. I will try hard to do the CD810 thing and drink my water, plus add in some fitness between now and then. Hopefully, I won't get a huge shock when I get on the scales. I read that Sal was up 9 (but a lot of that would be the glycogen), and I think she has handled that well. But, I doubt I would.

I hope the kiddos had a fab Christmas. (You and DH, too.)

Mel

Had to laugh at this great things :). Reminded me of the time my OH did almost exactly the same. Went out in our brand new caravan for a week and I had bought everything brand new - bedding, towels, tee towels etc. along with new clothes for me. On arriving home I flung everything into black bin liners and dumped them in front of the washing machine. The OH said that he'd do all the washing as he had the next couple of days off and I was due back at work. A few days later I asked him if he'd done all of the washing and put it away as it had disappeared. Very unusual for him to have put things away - I had expected to see a pile of washing clean, but dumped on the spare bed. He looked puzzled, then worried, and admitted that he had seen the bin liners in front of the washing machine, forgot that they contained clothes and had thrown them out with the rubbish a couple of days before. I was so annoyed, and even more so when he said that at least nothing of his clothes were in there as he hadn't actually managed to remove his dirty clothes from the caravan. Men ay! ;)

Don't think that beats the Christmas present story though! Moral of the story - I bought distinctive laundry bags after than to try to mitigate the risk of it happening again, although I don't think he'd dare do it again!

i'm so fat, i feel like a barrel of lard.

finally made it to the gym today, at long last escaping hubby and kids. nearly killed myself in the process though. the weight gain has really taken it's toll. could hardly manage 2.5 miiles. ended up interval training the last 3/4 mile. then did 25 mins on bike whilst listening to 2 zumba dances and re-writing one. i'm supposed to be learning these for the 5th jan..

anyway that's probably 400 cals gone.

been buying clothes for my job. bought trousers which luckily still fit and bought some new tops for tuesday when i start back teaching..... leggings and oversized jumpers won't do - not smart enough.

very much hoping to get off to gym early tomorrow (7am!)

such a busy day.

shopping at 7am
dog walking at 9.45 am - 11am
gym 1.30pm - 2.45pm
cleaning house 4.30pm - 5.30pm..... all of this with eating in between for good measure.

31st dec. last ever day of 2011! what a year.

Loving it. Bob time! Yeah! This new years is better than last. 2012.... It's going to be a blast! Thinking bout doing ss+ from tomorrow. Sick of food! Very sick.

And wine! Forgot to add that bit! :) yeah bob time!

plan of action 2012

  1. starting today, jan 1st, i'm cutting down on cr*p food and drink. i'm sticking with my 3 shakes today but having a new years dinner later.
  2. tomorrow is weigh day  and i'm predicting 7lbs on.
  3. tomorrow is a true day 1 ss+ (no ice cream i'll have a bar instead.) i need to grip the moment.
  4. 1 week of ss+ to get back to pre-xmas weight. then 810 to 1st goal weight of 11st 7lbs. (estimation 19lb = 7 weeks).
  5. goal weight 2 is the lower 11st/high 10st range.

overall goal for 2012..... to stay in the 11st range and to never let myself be heavier than 12st 7lbs.

exercise goals

  • to tone up
  • to run another half marathon (my last i think)
  • to have fun exercising.

They are great goals!

I hope you enjoy your last supper :)

Broken today already. Had a cd bar, 1 chocolate and cheese for lunch but I'm not giving up. Just depressed. Thinking bout my changing life - going back to work and how much harder things are going to be getting kids to school and sorting everything out that I once did and will still do in a smaller time limit. Then there's my weight. Ive put so much on over Xmas. I'm kind of ashamed. CDC is going to be shocked. All my plans for exercising during Xmas and limiting my food intake during Xmas has gone bang! So I'm loads fatter and even more depressed than I thought I would have been.

I also, very much hate new year! I find new year itself just a very depressing time. For me the more the year progresses the better I feel.

I feel like I need some serious help feeling better.

Aw, big hugs Nikki :bighug:

Stop being so hard on yourself, hen - it's not compulsory to beat yourself for eating over Christmas, you know. You'll be back in the swing of things in no time. I agree it's a rubbish time of year though. I reckon that we should maybe move Christmas to February so that it isn't as long before the weather cheers up!

Happy New Year x x

Lily's right Nikki, stop beating yourself up. New Years Day is probably the worst time to start a diet any diet, never mind CD. It's still the holidays and you'll still be in a holiday frame of mind, particularly if you've got NY dinner planned, there'll be this tiny part of your mind that's say 'there's no point in sticking to plan while that's on the horizon". Get dinner out of the way and then start fresh with nothing on the horizon to steer you off track. You can do it!! And it probably isn't as bad as you think, and it's mostly glycogen and water, not true fat!!

She'll kick your butt and inspire you to get back on track again! I got my butt kicked by my CDC on Friday, it'll be fine. Julie will give you the look, but she'll help you start over!
