Coffeelovers Under 10lbs To Go

Hi, I did a bit of juddding in July for a couple of weeks, on my up days I kept to atkins friendly foods and it worked when I did that, I also found if I did 3 DD I got cravings but not when I only did 2 a week.

That's really interesting Sammy! I think that's what I'll try next week. 2 days sounds easier than 3 and protein does keep me full.

I also took digestive enzymes a while back and they helped shift some weight. They help your body to better digest, protein, carbs and fat. As we (meaning me lol) get older, our natural enzymes are depleted. I've run out so must get some more.

I was good yesterday, but realize my problem is picking at food ie: nibbling on crisps while standing at the kitchen counter does not count in my book ooops bad attitude. At least I'm aware of this and can work on it.

Son sent me a heartfelt email about wanting to change his major. Bless him, he's been really stressed about it and wanted our blessing. I told him we will always 100% support his life decisions and that's what family is all about. Maybe his sleep problems are stemming from this? For goodness sake I have a degree in art history and my parents supported that. Even though I wouldn't change anything about this and absolutely loved every minute studying this, I can't say it's been useful for me. Good at art questions on university challenge though lol.

Have a great day everyone. I'm off, it's sunny and cold but a beautiful autumn day. x

do you not take the digestive enzymes now? Did they actually work? sorry for the questions i have not heard of taking them before, what were they called?

hope your son sorts out his major soon, its stressful for him but its also stressful for you, i hate it when my boys have problems. when they were younger you could sort them out for them xx

Could you try making some cheese or salami crisps to keep you from the real ones? Picking is fine if it's at legal foods!

Good idea with the salami crisps ML.

Stubbsey, I get the enzymes at Holland & Barrett, they're called multi enzyme formula super strength. You know what I even have a re order number and can't find them anywhere on their website. Will go back into my local store with the empty bottle.

I was in a stall and the week after I took them dropped 4lbs. Unheard of for me. So maybe there's something to them or not, but being wheat intolerant they help for that too.

Here is yet again another long article but a good one.

The Importance Of Digestive Enzymes & Proteolytic Enzymes -- Barron Report

thanks for that i will have a read they may help my son who has a lot of acid and heartburn issues. i did read on one blurb i saw that they contain rice and corn, wondering if they are ok on induction?

Wow interesting on the enzymes, Val.

And big cuddles for you and your poor son, sounds like he may have been stressing out a bit about it - hope he settles down into it now. I changed my major from ancient history to english and politics and was much happier :)

Hi val, interesting re the enzymes. Thks

Morning, I bought the enzymes yesterday, will await with interest the outcome.

Evening Val... Interesting degree you did! Akways thought you were arty with your beautiful sunflowers... :)

Hope your son settles - always best to major in something you enjoy... Otherwise it's just too much like hard work! Xxx

Must remember enzymes !

Morning everyone. Well I've reduced my intake of food pretty drastically this week and I've lost an astounding wait for it .............. 0 -nothing, zip, not an ounce.

wtf -Ok I had vodka and wine last night, but still sheeesh. Next week starts the 5-2 properly.

Looks like a lot of you changed majors. Told son just not make any rash decisions. He's only taking core courses this semester so not really an indication of future 'meatier' classes.

Stubbsey, didn't see corn or rice on my bottle, but there is Atkins friendly ox bile- yuck.

Look forward to what you think Sammy1

Beautiful sunny day and may even be warm enough to sit in the garden with a book and glass of wine. Is the sun over the yard arm yet?

Have a happy Friday everyone. x

Morning, sorry to hear about sts, sometimes when I start a diet, other than atkins, nothing goes in the 1 st week and then I get a whoosh in the second. I am sure son will sort himself out, it is very hard to have any idea what you want to spend your life doing when you are that age......I still don't know, and my eldest is 22!
Starting the enzymes today, so I will update you next week.
Enjoy the weekend.

Morning hun

Sorry on the STS (bet it was the ox bile that caused it yerghhh) - am sure I will be the same tomorrow :(

Nice and sunny here today, but I think the heating might need to go on tonight....

evening! ox bile? eww is that in them? lol

i feel a bit chilly not i noticed oh has put heating on but opened the windows... men!

OK new focus -just going to keep at around 4-50 carbs, not stress if I go a bit over. Also that will include lc wraps, tortilla and pasta, vodka and wine. I just need that to stay on it. Got to shift some weight this week surely! Back on mfp to keep my self straight. Got a nice lc order of pitta, wraps and syrup etc coming on tuesday. I love the fresh lc rolls and they freeze well, they are great for bringing to work so no 'what are you eating' comments.

Started the shred again although just did half to ease myself into it.

hubby brought home lots of m&s chinese dim sum last night with tons of carbs and very greasy. I feel yuck today.

sunny today, hope to get reading out in the garden with possibly a cocktail. May not be warm enough though.

b- sausages on lc bread- coffee w/cream
l- salad
d duck curry on stir fried cabbage
s cheese and cucumbers

Hi Val, good luck with your eating plan - we all have to find what works for us as individuals.

I've still not tried a lc wrap...one of these days I will!

Well done on the half a shred - that's half more than I'd manage, lol!

Oh, and jealous of your sunshine right now...:(

Good luck with the new carb level Val, I'm joining you as of today :)

How many carbs are in the rolls?

And also very jealous of your sunshine, it is pouring down here and looks set to stay that way for a while :(
