Coffeelovers Under 10lbs To Go

Hi Val, good to see you:)

Thanks for your support girls. :heartpump:

I'm doing a mixture of days Sandra, but mostly EE which I never got the hang of before. However even if I have carbs, they're wheat free ones.

My appetite seems to be finally under control after losing it for a couple of months.

Saying that at 6 pm Strictly will be vodka o'clock and crisps of course.

Hope your all having a great Saturday. xx

Evening lovely

Well done for starting a plan, I know you felt really unsure of what to do next - and you are going great guns so far! Do you have a nice consultant?

Sxxx

Morning Susie, I'm doing it online it's too inconvenient for me to get to a class.

Sounds like your doing well with Atkins too.

What's everyone up to today? xx

I think since you managed so well on Judd you probably have the right mind set for SW too. My problems when I did it were taking pasta being a free food (might have changed now) too literally and my mindset being that if I'm allowed -some- junk I could eat nothing but junk! Did it years ago though and I believe they've refined their plans. Doing it without wheat sounds like a very smart idea. Obviously working for you!

Morning

I'm having a very exciting day here - folding up laundry, grocery delivery and reading :) Was bracing myself to do Orbit's flea treatment but managed to get her early, still half asleep, so that's done without me getting one scratch on me. Although I shouldn't speak too soon, she's sitting over the other side of the room glaring at me....:)

You asked what I was reading at the moment - I love what they call cozy murder books a la Agatha Raisin. Came across a free one on the Kindle store (I don't have a kindle, I've got a Sony, but found a marvellous bit of software that takes the lock off so I can download to my heart's content :)) by Lesley Cookman called "Murder in Steeple Martin". There's a series of them, about an ex-actress and a psychic, who become amateur sleuths, in a village setting. Just my cup of tea. The whole series is on Kindle for about a £ each.

I agree with ML - I think the fact that JUDDD suited you probably does bode well for SW, and staying wheat-free would mean that you'd be largely avoidingthe big "nasties" like bread, cake and biscuits anyway (those are the things I would struggle with even in moderation simply because I find it very hard to be moderate with them!).

I've lurked all over this site at various times and I know that there are many happy campers losing weight and maintaining their losses with SW. It's all about finding the way of eating that will get you to goal and keep you there, and SW certainly seems to do that for a lot of people, so if it agrees with you that's great! :)

They've changed a bit ML but still say pasta is a free food, but if you eat tons you won't lose weight, so really in my opinion (I know it's hotly debated) it's really not a free food. Maybe what they're really trying to say is eat just until your full but if you're a carb addict like me it's difficult to stop but I seem to be ok as long as I don't have wheat. I started getting cravings for fruit and it lasted for weeks, and I think that's way swayed me.

Sound perfect Susie will get it. Have you heard of the site Cozy-Mystery.Com I get a lot of good reads from it.

So true Scrumbles, but for some inexplicable reason, my appetite is really under control. Long may it continue.

OMG that website is amazing - I just want to read every single author!!!! :) But made me the slightest bit depressed because there are so many authors out there, if I ever finish my puny effort, who's gonna read it?! :D

We need to start swapping books bigtime Missus! I'll see if I can download my latest onto a CD for you from Calibre - did you get it to work, by the way?

Just checked Calibre, and yes I can save to disk - don't have any disks at home so will give it a go this week if I get time :) I'll include the two Cookman ones and anything else I think you might fancy.

So glad you like it Susie, I knew you would. So many mysteries so little time lol. I'll definitely read your book Susie, bet it's awesome!

Yes the Calibre worked great and I love Inspector Brunetti, thanks so much for introducing me to him.

Whatever you think I'd like whenever you get the chance would be great Susie, thanks.

Funny, but with Kindle I'm more inclined to read several books at once, whereas with actual books I wouldn't think of it. Oh and best feature yet, when it's really cold in the bedroom in winter, you can change the page and keep your hands under the covers lol

Hello Roo, and Susie, Just in little while ago and vodka o'clock.

A sneaky WI and a sts, so with the vodka and wine to follow, no hope of a loss this week. Anyhow, not too bothered.

Bring on Friday!!!! xx

Update: as of this morning I lost 2lbs. Since yesterday? Is that even possible. No gong to question it too much just going to enjoy it. x
