Cookie's diary to be joyously slim

Afternoon Cookie good to hear your in better spirits hun - well done getting back on track. You will pull it back and yayyy to the visit from the PF, shes not been here yet :-(

I think SE is too much like hard work, I did it for 6 days and lost 0.5 so wont be doing it again, too much hard work for little reward ( well for me anyway). x

Hi Aqua, the tree is up it looks nice but sparse compared to other people's, I'll switch the lights on later and post a pic!

Anyway, grocery shopping done, washing done, house is clean and tidy and warm, my paprika chicken has now turned into a hearty chicken casserole with loads of veggies, beans & chick peas. The whole massive pot is a mere 7 syns for the two Caribbean dumplings I put in, I chopped them up into tiny bits and I'll just then count each portion as 1 syn as it'll do 8 meals.

I've also got my first ever batch of SW smash cheese scones. Not made them before but I added some courgette & tomato to the mix too so fingers crossed they'll go nice with dinner and then with my soup for lunches mon & Tuesday.

I think your right, EE is the way forward although I do like a Green Day now and again too. Ooh my scones look quite a good I think xx

Oh I might just have to try some scones too. Are they easy to make?

Super easy,
1 x pack of smash cheese & onion 100g bag
1 x tub of cottage cheese onion & chive 300g tub
3 x eggs
1/4tsp mustard powder
Optional = I grated 1/2 a courgette & 1/2 a tomato chopped up

Mix all ingredients together and rolled into balls I got 13 out of it. I sprayed a baking tin with fry light then sprayed the scones with it too.
Cooked them for around 15 mins, the recipe I user said 20-25 but I wanted them soft still. Taste very cheesey and went lovely with the stew. Xx

Sundays food is EE:-

B = scan bran vanilla cake (2), fruit & yogurt
L = Chicken casserole (1.5 casserole veg pack, spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, mixed beans, chick peas, oxo, stock pot, smoked paprika, herbs, garlic, chilli dumpling)
with carrots, broccoli, sprouts & 2.5 smash scones
A = as b/fast but smaller (1) hi fi light (1/2 hex b), clementines.
D = undecided yet, but it'll be something light

We're out tonight to see The Pogues, very excited.

Amendment to dinner the whole dish is 9 syns not 7 and it'll do 6 portions not 8 so each one is now 1.5 syns so still very good and it tasted delicious too.
So that's 4.5 syns so far today with 1/2 hex b left and a full hex a to use.

Thanks Jen, I don't mind having the extra super free but it takes a lot of effort I think, where as I enjoy the simplicity of EE. How are you? I missed wi due to work last week but I'll be there on Thursday. Xx

Hi cookie I am good ta, missed you at wi but read you couldn't make it. Looking forward to this week it's a taster so should be fun! Totally agree on simplicity of ee!

Evening cookie, updated my blog with my busy weekend. The scones sound good. Might come back to the recipe later and make them. Love the tree, it's getting close isn't it? Are you working on Christmas day? Do you have a shift night out?

Hi Geordie. I'm well thanks.

I'm off three days over Xmas, Xmas eve, Xmas day & Boxing Day yay! Can't wait. :):):)
We didn't go to my Xmas do, it was in Chester on saturday worked out to be £60 each, plus £120 to stay over, so quite expensive. We lost our £20 deposit but had a much cheaper brilliant time this weekend. The Hobbit 2 on Saturday and The Pogues last night. I'll find out the news about the do when I go I work later. Xx

Hello everyone. The Pogues were really good last night I didn't understand a word that singer Shane McGowan said or sang I wonder if its because he's got no teeth?

The crowd were in good festive spirit, there were quite a few blokes all in their Xmas jumpers some with lights flashing! It was so good. They finished with Fairytale in New York and I couldn't help think of Kirsty McColl bless her! Its been a top weekend. :):):):) xx
