Hello, how is everyone?
I've not been feeling my usual self today, I've kept to plan but my scales aren't looking good :beam:
 
Hi cookie :wavey: , how come your not feeling great today ? your foodage has looked good so far this week :), maybe its just some water retention or something that's showing on the scales ? I'm sure it will go away.

Thanks Kay, I'm wondering if I'm eating too much food actually. Its all on plan but my tummy is really big, its not totm anymore but I think it could be water retention like you say, just feeling unsettled I think.

How are you? Your tea looked absolutely gorgeous mmm xx
 
Hmmmm, sometimes I wonder if I eat too much, not of the wrong thing but if I'm putting too much on my plate & just eating until its gone instead of eating until I'm full.

You'll settle down in a day or two x
 
I'm fine cookie, yep tea was yum. Do you like herbal tea ? I often find the following teas are fab for reducing water retention and bloating - dandelion, peppermint or fennel . I always try and have a cuppa before going to bed. My stomach makes noises after drinking it so I know it's doing something right. Then a little later I'm off to the loo, I deliver a baby then I'm back to a size zero :D . No jokes aside it does make u go loo but it gets rid of any excess bloating. Try it :) .

Thanks ladies, I'm going to have to get some in, I might have a peppermint tea in, I'll have to have a good look. I am wondering though if should start weighing my portions like you do for a calorie controlled diet. I think my hex's are ok as its either bread, scan bran cake or hi fi bars. Leerdamer light cheese slices x2 or milk in latte's, I don't take milk in any other drink.
Think I need someone to tell me I've put too much food on my plate or better still wait until I'm hungry.
 
Food today is EE:-
B = boiled egg, scan bran cake (1) fruit
L = spicy veg & tomato soup, 1x cheese on toast (1/2 hex a & b), fruit salad & yogurt
S = banana, clementine, yogurt, French fries (4)
D = SW pasta quiche, baked beans, carrots, broccoli, baby corn & mange tout, potato, butternut squash
A = scan bran cake (1.5 & hex b), fruit & yogurt, mini mint finger biscuit (2)

Total syns = 8.5

I dont see anything wrong with your portion sizes Cookie I always have a decent amount on my plate x
 
Hello all, I'm still a bit worried about my weight and huge tummy. Brett says I'm over thinking it and stressing myself out!

No more, anyway I've been to the shops but I forgot to pick up some peppermint tea like Kay suggested :brainfart:
Never mind, I've had a look at my food and your views and I really enjoy what I'm eating and the portions are quite hearty but then I'm not filling my face on loads of naughty foods.

Food today is EE:-
B = 1/3 of fruit salad & yogurt
L = chicken & egg salad with lighter than light mayo (1), 1/3 fruit salad & banana.

Dinner is to be decided, I'm thinking either a beef & bean chilli or lasagne? Can't decide xx

Hello again, do you know I feel better already, tummy has gone down a wee bit.

Today I'm just relaxing, waiting for Brett to finish work as its our last evening together for four nights as I start my late shift tomorrow right through the weekend :(
So tonight were watching ...... Football, again! I can't begrudge him though because a) he pays for it b) he's very good to me and his kids c) he makes me feel better when I'm feeling down, bless him.

Anyway enough about that. I've cooked two teas, a beef & veg chilli, and salmon. I couldn't decide what I wanted and when I asked Brett what he fancied for tea, he said
"I'll have what your having sweetheart" :):) he makes me laugh xxx

Hello Cookie, loving the brekkie, so healthy and delicious ! A homemade version of mint tea, pluck some fresh mint leaves place in a mug pour over hot water - job done :D that's how they serve it in pizza express too. Simples and great to reduce bloating. But glad that the stomach issues have sorted themselves out. Your tea options sound yummy too, Bretts spoilt for choice :p .

Dinner was delicious, went for the beef & vegetable chilli, with side order of extra veg & small portion of rice (1), followed by a slice of scan bran cake (1), fruit & yogurt mmmm xx :):):)
