I would feel the same if I didn't see mine every weekend...............I'm waiting for them all to move out.............I've either done something really well or incredibly bad as they are 26, 24 and 20 and they all still live at home!!!!!!

Ahh but the good thing about them going away to Uni is that they have a taste of freedom and independence and often seem to make more of an effort to move out............my eldest went to Uni...............but lived at home!!!!!
He said it was coz he didn't want big debts............but I think its coz he wanted his washing and meals done for him lol

LOL Mine is only a 40 min train ride away at Leeds Uni! lol
I actually encouraged him to live away from home
I wanted him to experience Uni life in its entirety like I did. I told him to come straight home if he didn't like it though lol

Yeah I think it's the best way to learn about real life.
I didn't go into the field of my degree, but I learnt so many life skills and grew so much living away from home...

I wanted mine to go away for that reason especially as he can be bit introverted too............... is a website developer, so totally geeky (love him to bits tho)...... but he just didn't want to be paying off a loan forever, tho tbh still ended up with owing 7,000 and that was with living at home!!!!!!!!
