Not posted in a while as I have been running 5k since week 7 day 3 and feel quite comfortable so I have now started my quest for couch to 10k starting on week 10 which is run 10mins and walk 1 minute 4x and progresses from there and is quite a challenge
Well done Vicky - I get where you are coming from there, once you get to week 7 and the 25 min runs it seems such a small progression to the 30 min runs you feel like you've finished it anyway.
I'm working towards 10K too, but am just running at least 30 mins 3 times a week, making it a bit longer when I feel like it rather than following any kind of programme. Last week I ran 5 miles - 10K is 6.2 so I'm nearly there anyway. Thinking of going for a 10K race for life run in July, I'm sure I'll be ready by then.
