Have a great day guys, I have a dinner date tonight with my husband and his advisers from around Aussie...... Wish me luck :) xxxxxxx

Oh Vickki - it sounds trite to congratulate you on your fabulous weight loss, when you must be pulling your hair out with worry and pain. It's amazing how you've stuck at it, through thick and thin, and I know how important it is to have something like one's food intake one can "control" when everything else is going haywire.

Take care Vickki. Your BMI is now NORMAL :D

Enjoy your dinner date... and your hubby!

Well done Vickky, that's a fabulous achievement, especially with everything you've had going on. Fingers crossed for your mum!

Well done Vicky on your weight loss, keep strong hun, it must be so hard to keep going!

I have a craft fair this evening selling my jewellery, its a charity night for hope4kidz so hoping for a good evening although I am a bit nervous :/

Sun is trying to get out, of to our allotment with the kids today so hope it stays dry :)

off to make my galette to take with me as they are always eating when up there ha ha

Congratulations, Vickki, and I have my fingers crossed for your mum.

well done on the weight loss hun .....hope your mum comes out soon xxx

Ahghg Dr D makes me mad!! I have just seen this recipe on the official site

Chocolate Custard Cream

Preparation Time: 5 mn Cooking Time: Until the cream mixture thickens, Serves 1 Cruise Phase PP days

Ingredients

250ml Skimmed Milk
2 eggs
2 tbsp Fat free Cocoa Powder
Splenda Granulated Sweetener

I would have said this was far too much cocoa!!

Another typo no doubt!

2 tablespoons would taste disgusting, really bitter - so I somehow suspect it's meant to be 2 teaspoons!

Yes I'm sure of it and, with that amount of milk in, not to be eaten in one day either.

People will be taken in by it. Reading books isn't something people do when there's lots of free info, albeit WRONG free info, widely available.

Morning!

I thought someone had deleted the chat thread, I had to retrieve it from the next page!

We had a 'heavy' weekend food-wise (mostly very enjoyable), so back to more normal offerings this week and PP on Thursday, of course.

Am chasing my tail just now, hope everyone is OK and diets and everything else going well!

Will be back properly soon!

Gosh! I'm the reverse! On Saturday, in my father's home town, I shall walk around the town centre with my chin round my knees AGHAST at how big people are these days in the UK... it always hits me on day one... (by evening one, it'll be "how much people DRINK in the UK!" are the two linked, I wonder?)

Yes you see scary things :(:(:(:(especially parents with pre-teen kids of adult width (not height)!

Hmm today not going too well for me - picked up the wrong leftovers container from the fridge this morning so now I have fish pie with mashed potato(and butter) instead of mashed parsnip here  will try and eat as little of the potato as poss (it's a bit mingled).... Also colleague's leaving do so I already had a small piece of cake (hence the mash being more of a 'disaster'), and tonight is another socialising 'takeaway' night :D
Oh well it is the Easter holidays, going down as I expected and I am not weighting myself  till next week...

Jo, I could have written that (same order too!)

I am the chubbiest (well, was) round here yet when I go back to the UK, husband always remarks how slim we are (we're not too bad now, but we certainly not before).

It's lovely out, we've hardly seen the house today which is great - have popped in while strimmer/chain saw are in action outside - too noisy! Also need to post tomorrow's menu.

Hope everyone else is as lucky with the weather and that you're all having a good day:).

Water

Last week on the on-line official Dukan chat I saw them tell someone who was retaining water not to drink more than 2 litres of fluid, and then looking at the chat on there today they told someone else that it was important for the diet not to drink more than 2 litres.

It just seemed odd to me not if you are retaining water, but more generally if you are not retaining.
