Don't mind the muller lites - they satisfy a sweet craving when it hits :).. though I'm not surprised you're disgusted - they're not natural toffee flavoured at all.... that said I didn't like toffee flavoured yoghurts beforehand...they're just a means to an end :)
 
Jo - Don't knock the feeder role - the more they weigh the less chance they have of running away! :D...

I'm sure I've been "fed" in a few relationships....partners who'd rather I was overweight....hmmm
 
jo - i lie awake thinking about dan my mind just doesnt switch off ,i do drink green tea which has caffine in and i love diet coke but i used to drink a lot years ago and had no prb sleeping !!

I know I used to "feed" my other half... I love cooking and baking, NOT the day to day stuff but fun things at the weekend, and being on Dukan on and off for the past three years does put pay to that somewhat!! And so I bake for him... poor soul had to go back onto Dukan himself!! (And has lost faster than any of us, as only men can!!!)...

Jet - I wonder whether something like hpnotherapy... relaxation... yoga... might help...

its just that

i forgot my sleeping tablets thats all ,yeh i always read before i sleep !!
 
well the tablets work unless im really upset then my legs start to ache ,touch wood not had achy legs for a while ................
 
when i come off the tablets i will deffo be trying some form of relaxation !!!!!!!!!!!!
 
but it might be a good thing to start before coming off the tablets completely mewonders...

yes but reiki would do you the world of good ;) or reflexology. Honestly ill be emailing your BF and telling him to book you in for a session
 
I write in a journal and always have a little jotter by the bed - so instead of thinking "ooh i must remember to do that tomorrow..." I just write it down, helps clear my mind for sleep...

also I'd recommend herbal remedies instead of sleeping tablets...if you need the heads up on which ones - let me know...I have a book :)
 
thank you sarah ,years ago i would never of dreamed of taking sleeping tablets but with my son passing away i knew i would need medical help not herbal which i did try but just made me feel rubbish !!
 
It's just that sleeping pills always make people woooozy the next day, and sleep for too long, so it's a shame to use them every day... anyway...

Good morning all - my last day for a week (at work and on internet) and so I'm a bit busy at work alas...

Hope you're well... my "holiday" plan is to stay in ketosis until Wednesday - have a FULL DAY OFF (no restrictions - probably TOTAL ABSOLUTE STUPIDITY cos I do things like that when I have a day off...) and then back in the saddle Thursday. Not ideal, Dukan wise, but given how I can sometimes behave on holiday (9 days' overeating in England in May!), this seems a good thing to try for me...

I'm figuring out my menus - and will try some different dishes for PP lunches, as I'll have more time on my hands and want to avoid my usual "what can I eat now?" thing!

Exercise will be 1/2 hour FAST walk per day... if I say an hour, I'll not do it, so best aim for the achievable!! Temperatures will be up to 35°C until Tuesday, and so it'll have to be an early morning walk!

That's the aim at least... if I were to come back with only a small gain, I'd be happy. (Given that I gained 8K in a week in May!)

First thing in morning and last thing at night are cooler? why dont you do 20 min walk morning and night? LOL
 
Thanks Vicky... it was 29°C here last night at 11pm!!! LOVELY NOT!!! We'll be having to lug water over to our veg plot each evening so that'll probably count in the calorie consumption at least!!

I'm happy at the "birthday calories not counting", but don't want to get back into the "if no one sees you it doesn't count" mentality of old... That's a big one for me... eating "naughties" in front of people!

Just the one week - and actually only 4 days' vacation cos Wednesday 14th is a Bank Holiday here!
