Good morning all... and TOP OF THE MORNING TO Y'ALL...
How is everyone? Anyone daft enough to sneak on the scales this morning? (+1,2K for me - despite 2 x PPs and 2hrs walking... merited gain though so onward and offward.)
Lovely day so walked 1hr15 past several beautiful sights tourists love to see...
Good morning - I was thrilled to see the scales a lb down today despite the vast quantities I managed to eat yesterday! i tried making a toast like affair, using the same mix as my pizza base this morning, but it tasted a bit eggy for me - maybe I shold take out the egg and try something else in it. The salmon pate was good though so I may have to finish it later.
Morning! Finally the scales are down just under a 1kg thank goodness was thinking I was going mad everyone else is dropping kgs and I was putting on for goodness sake! Anyway onwards and downwards. xx
Salmon Pate
Blitz a piece of salmon then add some 0% greek yoghurt a couple of drops of lemon juice and some herbs if you want them - add the yoghurt a little at a time and keep blitzing and tasting until you get the right taste/texture.
It would also be good with smoked mackerel.
I am on PP today but I thought on Friday I might try with some bits of dehydrated courgette to dip in it.
Darn it! I have some nice lamb steaks in the fridge but have just checked the book and I don't think I can have them! Also I forgot to have any rhubarb on my PV day yesterday. I have eaten all the rhubarb from the garden (100g - is that right?) stirred into Total greek yoghurt and I forgot it yesterday, despite having 3 packs of it on the side in the kitchen (I didn't want to run out!! )
good here thanks - although grey and wet too - even the kitten has come indoors! still the rain is good for the garden and it keeps the wasps off the figs on my tree. I have been trying to be inventive with the figs , as I can't eat them this year. I have made Fig and Chilli jam and fig and apple crumble so far - and not eaten any of it :-( I also have some figs on the go in my dehydrator.
Sorry didn't see that question - no lamb allowed... (but, given that most in the UK are eating "normal" ham methinks, I'd have thought roast lamb was less fatty!!)
