Daily chat...

Thanks Jo! and no not live, I have cctv at home for them. dont think it will work this far away!

Bit boring weekend here, saw the parents on sat, stayed in all day sunday.

Looking forward to the holiday weekend but no plans yet. Other than 3 days of no alarm.

It's funny how we can look forward to weekend and holiday days without the alarm... yet I still wake up before it would have rung!

Same here. On a weekend i can never lie in (well rarely) and on a school day i could sleep till 10!

It's a siesta I miss on a workday (zzzzzzzzzzz)

I cant do siestas at the moment, but me and the dogs used to go up to bed for a couple of hours on a weekend afternoon.

Good morning all... and TOP OF THE MORNING TO Y'ALL... :)

How is everyone? Anyone daft enough to sneak on the scales this morning? (+1,2K for me - despite 2 x PPs and 2hrs walking... merited gain though so onward and offward.)

Lovely day so walked 1hr15 past several beautiful sights tourists love to see...

And how are you all?

Good morning - I was thrilled to see the scales a lb down today despite the vast quantities I managed to eat yesterday! i tried making a toast like affair, using the same mix as my pizza base this morning, but it tasted a bit eggy for me - maybe I shold take out the egg and try something else in it. The salmon pate was good though so I may have to finish it later.

Salmon Pate
Blitz a piece of salmon then add some 0% greek yoghurt a couple of drops of lemon juice and some herbs if you want them - add the yoghurt a little at a time and keep blitzing and tasting until you get the right taste/texture.

It would also be good with smoked mackerel.

I am on PP today but I thought on Friday I might try with some bits of dehydrated courgette to dip in it.

Darn it! I have some nice lamb steaks in the fridge but have just checked the book and I don't think I can have them! Also I forgot to have any rhubarb on my PV day yesterday. I have eaten all the rhubarb from the garden (100g - is that right?) stirred into Total greek yoghurt and I forgot it yesterday, despite having 3 packs of it on the side in the kitchen (I didn't want to run out!! :) )

Good to have food that you look forward to on this.

Hows things?

Very grey here.

My gain from yesterday is gone, might have to try and stop the daily weighing as feel like I have to lose every pound twice at the mo.

Sending the fairy Vickys way...

Really pleased the scales are moving for flutter (hopefully the bowels too :p)

good here thanks - although grey and wet too - even the kitten has come indoors! still the rain is good for the garden and it keeps the wasps off the figs on my tree. I have been trying to be inventive with the figs , as I can't eat them this year. I have made Fig and Chilli jam and fig and apple crumble so far - and not eaten any of it :-( I also have some figs on the go in my dehydrator.

Sorry didn't see that question - no lamb allowed... (but, given that most in the UK are eating "normal" ham methinks, I'd have thought roast lamb was less fatty!!)
