Sorry that you're having a rough time, Jet, I'm sure it's the cause of your headache. Hope things are resolved at work with as little upset to you as possible.
On an aside (and sorry for the post hijack), I've been catching up with old posts and am so sad to have read of your son's death. I hope the good memories outweigh the sad ones of his illness and passing and that they keep you going, I know that it's not easy. Big hugs xxx.

hey laura ,thanks for ur lovley comments they mean a lot !! dan my son would be 20 on 22nd sept so thats anothere milestone we need to clear and xmas our first one without him ,so a tough year and we will do it !!!
i also realised yesterday that the person i was before dan passed will never be coming back because that person is with him ,so i will just have to get used to a new me eventually !!!

Soooo when do you think you'll go back to work? You're right not to let them hurry you and the money thing will sort itself out, I'm sure...
2.5 hours more to work and I leave early for my weekend... weather forecast not good but it currently says it's raining and it's not, so ever hopeful!

hey jo i may have missed youby now ,i totally forgot i had a appointment with my doc at 11.30 but just managed to get there on time ,anyway i decided before i knew about my pay that i was planning on going back at end of sept so really ive just had to juggle some of my monies around to make it up which i have managed to do !!

also when i was at my doc's today we dealt alot with my youngest soon and how he is and actually i total weight has been lifted ..........
i knew there may have been something wrong with him but i wasnt sure what ......... anyhow my doc is more than 100% sure that he has a learning disability and also asperger's ,this is a total relief ,has i know his problem's are not my fault or his fault either !!
now we just have to get him sorted so it starts now !!

How is everyone today? I've seen a few of you on the threads, but here's for general chat more...
Jet - I used to have a friend with mild Asperger's...
It's turned quite chilly here, and I'm wearing a cardigan in the office which is most unusual, brrrr! We're promised nicer weather from Wednesday, so here's hoping!
Kids go back to school here this week... how about yours? Any stay at home Mums who are going to have excess time on their hands?
Anyone with holidays still to come?

hey jo ,im just bak from my OH house mmmmmmm thought we where coming bak yesterday anyway he is at his house cleaning has he has a viewing mmmmmmmmmm !!
it's a relief to at last find it's not his fault r mine in the way he act's !!
i nearly had a few blip's yesterday my OH said do u want a muffin i said yes (omg ) then he said not at that price we dont lol ...
well ive got my skirt on today and also a cardi (i live in cardi's )
jordan's not bak until 13th sept ,then he is in hospital on 15th !!

Will the GP send your son for further testing? It can take years to get the right diagnosis, I've read...
I keep an assortment of extra layers, different colours and thicknesses, here in the office but I'm not really into cardigans! Needs must and all that!

hey jo ,we are both selling and buying one together ,i cant stay here i just cant settle now dan isn't here ,but mine not up for sale yet still got job's ongoing !!
yes hopefully it was my physiatrist (i think thats how u spell it ) who spotted the problem with wot i have been telling him ,he now deals with adults with asperger's !!
so my boy will be sorted soon hopefully !!!

One thing I know my friend had issues with were nuances in conversation... if ever you joked with him, he took your words literally. At first I thought he was joking (ie, say if I'd said "it's raining cats and dogs" and he'd look up to the sky to see...), but once I knew, I knew not to say but what I meant. As he did take everything anyone said literally. Bad example there, cos that's far too obvious. As I said, he was just slightly Aspergers but it wasn't picked up as a child, but an adolescent when he wasn't on the same wavelength as his peers.
My cardi was ace this morning when my nasty officemate had the window open! grrrrr!

u know something jo , it's like a huge weight has been lifted ,jordan does take things u say to him literally, he also has no socail skills which school have said this but not done anything about it .well im here to help him 100% to get him the help that he deserves !!!

A new start sounds great, hope it doesnt take long to get both houses sold
Jo, ours went back 2 weeks ago but the primary 1s only went half days, so its Emmas first full day at school. I'm lovin' it lol.
The library van came and I got her some good books for bedtime stories, the kitten is asleep still lol, so I'm tiptoeing around her, hoping she will want to play with Emma when she comes back. Need to make some buns for the kids coming home ravenous at 4. Its a lovely sunny day here so am going to tidy then go and make a batch of soap, then come back and vac then make buns, that should take me till 4pm.
