I know what you mean, I googled the Selfrdiges website and they've got a section advising on using jeans and they suggested it too! I've decided that I want to try mid-rise, indigo jeans in both straight and bootcut. There's a couple of pairs of Armani ones which I might try first as I know that the ones that I've already got fit ok......I know that they're a bit expensive but Paul promised me some really nice jeans when I'd lost the weight and my hip had healed so as he's paying:D

Lol well if hes paying xx You may be suprised tho honey........I absolutely adore CB shoes and when I went to NY last year I had carte blanch to treat myself and I didnt even buy one pair as they were *****whispers******** uncomfotable, instead I bought like 7 pairs of aldo shoes so designer doesnt always mean best. I hope you find your ideal pair but please keep an open mind x

Sandra, if you are the type of person who needs to have someone;s name on your ass..........go to Turkey from April to Sept, you can get REAL genuine fakes without paying through the bank account.

Seriously, if you have the money to pay extortionate prices for a pair of jeans, good on ya ;) but even if I DID have the money, Dolce and G Star, and Armani and the rest of the bandwagon could shove their lables as far up their A*&'s as they could shove them without an epidural as far as I am concerned. Emma has the right idea, wear what feels comfortable to you - not what takes the largest amount of credit from your Visa.

Great point Mary. I earn good money and my bf has just set up his own business so we are ok but even at that I could not justify spending so much money on clothes just for the name. I've been a high st girl, I'll never forget how I felt at a party 2 yrs back I bought a d&g dress in NY (yes it cost a bomb but I loved it and felt amazing in it) I was asked what "branch" I bought my dress in as a well known highst brand had done a very similar dress for a fraction of the cost!! Nightmare!! Never again!!

Totally agree. Im a proper sainsburys, asda, tesco, new look and 'primarni' girl 100%!!!!! Even if i did have the money id refuse to pay ridiculous prices for a pair of jeans etc ... shoes maybe but clothes nah!!! :giggle: (im a total shoe freak btw i have alteast 50pairs some of which ive not even worn yet!) xxx

Absolutely chick........just takes a knit one, purl one, Pass slip stich over for a couple of rows to make the difference!

I dont mind paying for quality, but I hate being ripped off!

Obviously I work for a highst brand- copy right laws state we only have to make 5 changes to the original design to avoid being sued bascially!!! I remember walking into Dolce & Gabanna on 5th avenue in New York and thinking-hello this is very like my shop lol

Have no idea how to send a pm but I work for Lipsy, amazing company. Before them topshop, warehouse the whole arcadia group.

Click on the person's name in any post they've made ... select 'send a private message to "....." ' and type the msg! :) xx

See thats why id never spend a bomb on something i can buy in primarni/sains/asda for a fraction of the cost!!! Big names dont interest me one bit, the cheaper i can get something the bettter! :)

Lipsy  they're dresses are stupid. Made for stick thin girls average size 14 would probably be a size million in the lipsy we have here in next. It really aggrevates me as some of their dresses are gorgeous but even an xl dont fit!!! ... nothing to do with you personally Emma sorry :giggle:x

Don't worry, I'm of an age where fit and comfort are more important than a designer name! X

Tan I couldnt possibly disagree with you more!! Its a very common misconception that our dresses are only made for stick thin girls but it is most definitely not the case. I'm not a stick creature, I have boobs, hips and an ass and I wear a size ten in our dresses, tops and bottoms (in warehouse, riverIslandl topshop I would be a size 12 on bottom)

Also my staff range from a size 6 to a 16 and obviously we have to wear the clothes everyday as our uniform so believe me they most definitely fit a size 16. We stock sizes 6 to 16 in stores and we stock sizes 6 to 18 on our website.

What Next are you beside? Is it a proper Lipsy or do they just have a small selection? I guarantee you if you came to my store we would be able to dress you head to toe in Lipsy.
