Daz FINALLY has a food diary

Evening Daz - whats on the menu for lunch tomorrow? Ive no idea what im doing, the boys will be going to the pub as usual but they will want something before they go. I bought a piece of Skirt at the butchers (no funny comments about clothing lol) its really to make a dinner with but ive never cooked it before

Lamb rump for me again i think. Not sure if i will roast some spuds or have mustard mash. Actually, i think im out of mustard???? Crap. Roasts then. With veg.

Never had skirt but most seem to grill or fry it like a piece of rump or sirloin. Maybe coat it with wholegrain mustard and slow cook it, covered, in the oven?

Ooo I have mustard in the cupboard not used it for ages I could cook it like steak and copy you n make mustard mash and veg.

Have actually just looked up the concept of using Affect and Effect. Even more confused now.

Only here to get my head right again. Posting here does tend to help a little. Basically up in weight again, its ONLY 2 and a half lb from the last weigh in, not bad for 2 days. FFS. Its got to a point where it feels that i only need to think about food stuff and i put weight on.

Stop eating altogether, maybe that is the answer??? :eek:
 
Back to basics. Cereal for breakfast - Omelette for lunch - Chicken and rice followed by a muller light and fruit for tea.

Will have the same for 5 days in total, see how it goes. Although, it will be variations, ie, ham and tomato omelette today will be sausage and herb for instance, tomorrow. Chicken and rice was cooked together with veg in a chicken stock. Tomorrow i will perhaps spice the chicken up or cook it in pasatta.

All in all there will be 5 days of strict controlled portions of very low fat food. If this doesn't work i am admitting myself into the local hospital for the removal of whichever limb will get me to target.
 
Evening Daz - removal of a limb is a bit drastic lol

I suggested the same thing to Kay - going back to basics that is. Wont do any harm just to see what a difference it makes

Looking good Mother, although i do find it somewhat irritating that this sites pics are not clickable and are of a tiny nature.

How was the skirt on Sunday?

Just going to test the theory of it, plus the portion control is a very easy thing to deal with, and, if i stick to the chicken fillets, i only take one out at a time, only chop up half of it, then i have no choice but to make sure that i am full from the other bits that go with it. Sunday, well, i ate 2 lamb rumps (300g between them), veg and gravy, and 8 roast spuds.

Thats my biggest problem, seeing food as not being enough before i even cook it so doing more than i actually need. And then eating it all.

Ive been thinking about my portion sizes this week, although its all the right stuff I can still eat a plateful as big as I used to that cant be right surely?

We didnt have the skirt cos the lads didnt fancy it - so its on the menu for one night this week. I bought some peri peri salt yesterday no idea what im going to use it on yet lol but it will get used.

You seriously need to put your foot down with a firm hand Mother.

Chicken normally with peri peri is it not?

Yep I'm roaming around the 12 stone mark too :rolleyes:. Portion control ... what's that ? lol :p xx
