Debridgers' Food Diary & Ramblings

OK girls, just wanted to let you know, although I'm still following SW, I'm juggling it about a bit,
After watching the Horizon programme about Intermittent Fasting, the health benefits are great, so, I've decided to do an SW/JUDDD combo... let's hope my little experiment works, if it does, I'll have the best of both worlds.
I'm not expecting any great losses, in fact, this week may be a STS or a small gain, but I know that's just my body reacting......(oh, and my day off plan Saturday)

Wish me luck

Deb

Ooh, sounds good :) Good luck hun!

Have you seen The JUDD section on here? Quite interesting :)

Blimey, been one of those days....getting to work was a flipping pain, did some bibs & bibs, then had a meeting - a meeting and a half really. 1pm start, 2x 5min toilet breaks, finished at 625....worn-out.com

Kens been doing work on the garage roof, so had to call him when I got, around 8pm, then realised I hadn't spoken to Mums husband all week, that was an hour...had to watch Masterchef, now in bed catching up on here.....will do Mon/Tues update tomorrow

Shattered just reading that... Don't forget some 'me' time...xx

Thanks Chelle, should calm down a bit for a few days.....

Wednesdays Ken always comes over, although he surprised me Monday with a visit.

Thurs/Fri work from home, so at least I don't have to get up early for the 06:30 stupid O'clock train.....

Thurs night WI & shopping
Friday pub
This weekend Mums husband Bob is over, we're off to Wagamama Sat night - haven't been there since we took Mum for her birthday in February, so we might find it a bit difficult, but sure we'll be fine...

So, I'm fitting in a bit of me time thankfully

Hope you're OK x

WK14 D4 Mon 12 Nov - EE

Breakfast: cereals
2xweetabix (HEB), 200ml semi-skimmed milk (part HEA)

Lunch: Fish salad // fruit salad
rollmops, sardines in tomato sauce, mixed leaves, cucumber, tomato, carrot, sweetcorn // apple, grapes, pineapple,

Dinner: ratatouille & rice
rice, tin of D'aucy ratatouille - syn free and tasty

Supper: milk (just to use up the rest of my HEA)
50ml semi-skimmed milk (part HEA)

Well, Monday was a bit late home, had to meet someone, and again I suggested coffee.... which I always drink black anyway - so... no temptation there
Ken popped over, he arrived about 10 mins after I got in... felt a bit bad sending him home after an hour, but I needed some peace & quiet, and my dinner, really couldn't be bothered, so I opened a tin of ratatouille and chucked it over some plain boiled rice..... will defo keep some tins in the cupboard - great quick meal!!

WK14 D5 Tue 13 Nov - DD

Judddd down day, so whilst I can, I'll take fluids, and see if I can fast, although the judddd way is
max 500 cal on DD and 2000 cal (approx) UD
although the research I've done advises that a fast is better, although I should probably avoid coffee, but hey!!

Just found out the we're having dept. Lunch....of to Italian, had a look on the menu, should make an informed choice

Look at the salads you can always ask for dressings on the side...xx

Well, was pretty good.....ordered diet coke, ignored the various breads, oils & massive olives
Ordered the seafood linguine, so tomato based sauce and a side salad
Large espresso for dessert - yummy, and can only be a few syns for olive oil used in cooking, and the few teenie, weenie pieces of avocado

PS - it was lush

WK14 D6 Wed 14 Nov - EE

quite a pleasant day, not such a busy one thankfully, Ken's been such a darling, I decided to treat him to some jellied eels, of course, had to buy some for me too, didn't get around to eating them, so, that something to look foward to on Friday.
Stayed in again, instead of pub, doing us both good,, especially on the cash front, it's OK whiklst I'm still working, but, well, you know, and anyway, once a week's enough really.

Breakfast: cereals
2xweetabix (HEB), 250ml semi-skimmed milk (HEA)

Lunch: Italian restaurant - seafood linguine, salad
seafood linguine pasta, oil (12), tomato, prawns, mussels, clams, squid, mixed leaves, cucumber, tomato, onion, avocado (2.5)

guessed at syns obviously but decied to count as 2tbs oil, and the minimal avocado, no more than an ounce

Dinner: ham & mushroom omelette // yoghurt
eggs, ham, onion, mushroom // shape delight yoghurt

WK14 D7 Thu 15 Nov - DD

Down Day today, black coffee & herbal tea, quite a tasty cranberry & echinacea that I won in the SOTW basket the other week

Ken has done some more garage roof re-fit whilst I sat on my bum working in front of the TV
quick stop in the local town centre to pick up a jacket for him as a little thank-you gift before WI

Pleased to report - 2lb off, didn't know if I would this week...... everyday except Saturday was on plan, and syns counted,
but wondered if the fasting would have an adverse effect to start with.... obviously not, and I had a little measure - waist down 5 inches and boobs down 6

So, one happy little bunny here :bunnydance:
