Debridgers' Food Diary & Ramblings

OK, well, blimey.......

As I say, work has been terrible, although WFH last Thurs/Fri, been busy, my assistant John was busy training both days, so no help there, and he's been off this week for a holiday to Austria...., he's a few years off of retirement, so won't be looking for a new job, but has agreed to stay in his current role until the end of March...so he'll be on his own as of January....I've WFH Weds/Thur/Fri this week :) I'm so fed -up at work, really don't want to be there

Had Mums, husband Bob over last weekend, it's his birthday today, so we took him to Wagamama...last place we took Mum, and they both loved it....
He chose the place, and managed well, although he's finding it all more difficult than he first did, guess 'cos he's not busy arranging things, and clearing cupboards and stuff - poor Love

Pleased to report, Ken has virtually finished fixing the garage.... all roofed, boarded and felted, just needs to add some bracing bars to keep it firm, there's a couple of parts supported by posts lol... and even better, no leaks after this awful weather we've been having.

Still doing my SW/JUDDDD combo... and still working :)

Glad you had a nice night out with Bob - must have felt quite strange. Mum & Dad would have been married 50 yrs ago on Thursday so I sent a basket of flowers down to Mum :(

Well done on this week's loss hun! Aren't you hungry on DDs?

It was a bit odd, but nice too, especially as I wore a top of hers - Bob recognised it, and is happy that her clothes are still living as he puts it, I said I thought she'd like to have a drink with us..
Received a FB message from him, he's in Cornwall at the mo, spent yesterday on the beach in brilliant sunshine.... reckons Mum sorted that for his birthday!!
Your Mam would have appreciated the flowers, that's so lovely and thoughtful

Well happy with 3lb off.... and no, strangely, I'm not hungry on DD, yeah, the odd grumble, but that's all. Surprisingly, I'm not that hungry the next day either, but I know it's doing me good.

Most people use their DD to think about all the treats on the UD, and that get's them through....., although most do a 500 cal - DD and around 2000 cal - UD
others do 500 cal DD and eat whatever I fancy UD lol

hope your weekend is good

Well, a nice long lie-in today, coffee in bed of course ;)

Bit of brunch, then we popped to Aldi & Lidl to check out the beer bargains, and whatever else caught our eye

Not much on the beer front, but Ken bought some tools, I bought a couple of huge jars of olives, some ceiling spots for when we decorate, and I bought Ken thermalled, padded work overalls... an early Christmas present as well as a few other bibs and bobs

I also bought the four bird roast.... yummy at 1 syn per 100g, and a 200g serving was well filling!!

Ken made me laugh, I was looking on the shelves at some treats for him, I get pleasure out of buying stuff he'll like, and mentioned to him, if you see anything you fancy, pick it up... so he strolled towards me, threw me up in the air, and said you'll do....ah what a sweetie, especially as he said it's so much easier now :lilkiss:

Nice roastie dinner, and now time for bed....

We're off to Sussex in the morning to look at a couple of old cars..... so, a day at the seaside if the cars are rubbish

Night all,

Well, off out for dept. lunch tomorrow with the people we're training to steal our jobs!!!!

They said yesterday about going today, well, it's my DD, so I said I had to meet someone (it's easy these days with interviews & stuff), so, tomorrow it is - no idea where, we'll take a walk, and choose then, shame as I normally have a sneaky peek at the menu 1st!!

So, I left around 1:45, and went shopping instead lol !!

You have to do it sometimes... I have the perfect excuse in the fact that I always say I have to be back at the pub after work ( I do but it gets me out of so many work related meals etc ) And in your case its not like you aren't going at all... xx

Afternoon everyone.... hope you're all having a good day

Working from home today, so didn't get up until 8
Poor Ken has a cold coming, so stayed in bed for a couple of hours before I sent him home again!!! - Thankfully, he doesn't do man-flu

WI tonight, and I'm coming home after class, instead of popping to Asda, as I really need to eay up my freezer stuff

Wednesday was good, although I had to do some training.....we did have lunch, and I was such a good, good girl, you'd be proud of me!!

We went back to the same Italian place as before...

I ordered diet coke :checkmark green: left the bread, oil & balsamic, and the huge oily olives, (even though one of the guys wanted to share a slice):checkmark green:, I ordered the seared tuna nicoise salad, and refused the dressing,:checkmark green: and bypassed the desserts for a large espresso :checkmark green:

So, reckon with the bibs & bobs in the salad (4 little black olives, a little anchovy, which I'm guessing were in oil, and a dribble of liquid in the bottom, which may just be juices, I've decided to call it oil... although, apart from the anchovies, it wasn't oily at all) - I've decided its a max of 4 syns

And even though the whole meal was so SW friendly, I didn't feel like I missed out at all

Ken came over for the evening, and for a change, he drank my whisky, and I had a couple of ciders

So, quick update with the rest of my eats

Ta, it's funny, I've always enjoyed my food - that's why I'm here in the 1st place lol

But since I've started to JUDDD I've been enjoying my food a lot more, maybe because I'm eating less??

More than likely...xx

DD yesterday, and WI

YAY, 1.5lb off, so pleased, and I'm now only a pound more than I was Christmas Eve last year, so should beat that record

also, I did a measure and have another inch off of my waist compared to a fortnight ago

And finally, my little weight record shows I'm now overweight, and not class I obese (was class II obese when I started the first time in Jan 2011)

All in all, very happy

On an Up Day today, going greeen
